Flux is a dope local neighborhood bar! I've been a few times and it's always been good vibes. Chill, casual and fun. Their service is great, the drinks are on point! It's a great spot to go in groups or even alone to have a beer. I really appreciate the effort the owners took on expanding seating in the parking lot to make more room to host. I do like this chill small yet fun gay and lesbian bar. I have been a few times over the past year and i would describe it as a locals gay bar as well but their bartenders are very nice and personable. They provide good service and good drinks. As with any bar for being a smaller establishment they tend to draw alot of people on friday and saturday evenings as most places do so it may be a tad of a wait during these peak times for a drink or cocktail. read more

Had a wonderful time with my rad family. A random guy outside needed medical attention and was able to call 911 for him. The manager Ryan was amazing and thank us for calling that in. No problem. We all are human and need to watch out for each other. The staff was super nice and the music was amazing. Drinks were well priced and I definitely will be coming back. Nice to also know that this place is small enough for the management to really care about the customers inside and random strangers outside their establishment. They have plenty of great drink specials and all the staff working there is always very friendly and outgoing. The owners are often seen working as well and are super cool. They seem to love to see their customers having a good time. The bar has evolved over the years with better decor and better outdoor lighting for its patio area. It's a great play to mingle and have a good time. Drinks are a great price and they've really expanded their drink menus as well as specials with some great cocktails. Updating my review since I come here all the time now... This place is super chill if you want to just chill and have a few drinks with friends. I love sitting outside on the patio. If you come on Friday and Saturday it gets super packed! No elbow room really indoors so I prefer again staying out on the patio and mingling with everyone. The bartenders are all really nice especially Edgar! He's my favorite :) Drink specials every night. My favorite is Tuesday! $3 anything you call it! And it isn't super packed. Go NOW! My friend sent me some drinks and appetizers from Flux Bar for New Years Eve as a surprise . What a treat ! I had the Raspberry Cosmopolitan which was outstanding! It even had raspberries on a skewer! I Shared it with my neighbors and we were left wanting more ! It also came with a garlic herb dip and an assortment of crackers and fresh vegetables . Came here in October with some family and my girlfriend. Went kind of early so it was pretty empty. Hard to hear but it's a bar so what'd you expect. The drinks were great. They were horror themed and the Penny Wise drink was delicious. Bartender was giving the eye a bit because I look kinda young, even though I'm almost 28. Female bartender tried to make some chit chat, and I appreciated it because me and my girl aren't the most social people in the world. If you want to get smashed, this place is for you! We came on a Saturday night and the promo was buy a single vodka and upgrade to a double for free. Don't want a double shot? Then you could break it up into two drinks. Now, this was the unbelievable part- only $5 for top shelf. This isn't your typical swanky gay bar. No, it's pretty run down with mediocre decor, bad lighting, only two single bathrooms, no dance floor and a single pool table. They do have a smoking patio with chairs that I could see getting crowded when the weather is nicer. Like I said, you're probably not coming here for the ambiance, you're coming here to get wasted. I didn't, but had a nice buzz after my first drink. The bartenders were super friendly and they were literally going out of their way to make sure everyone was happy with what they ordered. Just word of caution- there are a ton of cops in the area, so if you're going to indulge, make sure you get a DD. There is limited parking in front and more in the adjacent neighborhoods. Go in groups- the area is a little sketchy. Will I be back? Probably. It was cheap and low-key. I heard that they have even cheaper drinks during the week.
