Came for happy hour, it was great! We got 2 glasses of wine and a pizza for about $30. The pizza was really good, especially the crust. [[HIGHLIGHT]]People there were chill, and tables were reserved for trivia that night which sounded fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would go back!

My boyfriend and I came on a Monday night to partake in their Bingo night event (every Monday from 7-9 pm). It looks like they also have Trivia night (Tuesday 7:30 pm), Wings Wednesday (50% off wings), and Mon - Fri Happy Hour from 2 pm to 6 pm. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a really fun time! The bar and its patrons had a very chill and friendly vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff, bartenders, etc were all so nice and attentive! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar was also clean without any sticky tables haha.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a few drinks (I forgot exactly which ones but they were tasty)! I did end up ordering a La Tortillo salad with chicken which I kid you not.. is probably one of the best salads I've ever had. Everything in the salad was so yummy and all the fixings worked really well together! I would def checking this place out for a chill evening! P.S. don't forget to bring your own marker/ pen for Bingo night but if not, you can borrow one for 25 cents I believe!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the Divisadero area, there is so much to do around here and the vibes are high.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is in a great location and a perfect little pit stop if you are looking for cheap food and a drink![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was great for how cheap it was. I paid 13$ for a good chicken sandwich on crispy toasted bread and a small side Cesar salad that came with the food. Overall loved the food and would recommend. The service was great, lovely place and the owner was very nice. He was quick to take my order even though it was quite busy!

Really love the convenient location and late hours. Dropped by for some food since most other places were closed! Got a chicken quesadilla and a pizza, both very good. Also got some draft beers, my favorite was the fruity sour (red colored beer) that I don't remember the name of. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved that even at 11/midnight on a Sunday, there were tons of people and actually a few parties playing pool[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Fly dranks, bartenders, and vibes. Laidback but trendy neighborhood bar on diviz. This is a good size bar with plenty of seating, table tops, tvs, and a pool table. I love the local artwork displayed and the lights everywhere. It really livens up the moody space. This is a casual spot to grab a bite and drinks. They have a nice selection of can drinks/seltzers, a fun cocktail menu, and decent food menu (it's a bar). Fly Bar is easily one of my boyfriend and I's favorite bars in the city. One of the main reasons we frequent this spot is for the $6 "add shot to any drink" special. They offer 3 different shot options and espolon tequila is one of them. A freaking steal! Not only do we love the drink special, but the bartenders are soooo nice, another reason we keep coming back. Oh! and our dogs can come here with us. Love that. I've also dabbled into a few food items. They have solid buffalo wings. SF Trivia hosts free bingo on Monday nights. Trivia nights are on Tuesdays. Def check them out if you like an easy goin bar.

Loved the laid back, casual atmosphere with retro quirky "fly" posters/decor on the walls. Lots of seating available on a Sunday evening, a single pool table inside, friendly helpful service, and the strong cocktails. Of course we came here hungry, and the funky chicken pizza and buffalo wings did not disappoint. Cheesy, flavorful slices with a sweet bbq sauce and a nice balance of toppings (we even added prosciutto to the pizza). It was yummy! The wings had just the right amount of spice, and came with fresh and crispy celery and carrot sticks that I wanted to take home to my bunnies for easter, but we were so hungry, we ate those too! :D

This is such an awesome neighborhood bar for food and drinks! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have an outdoor parklet, pool table, and tv's to watch games that aren't so big they ruin the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Best of all this is conveniently located near the Alamo Square dog park!

Stumbled into this bar after seeing a show at The Independent, greeted by a pair of very friendly bar tenders and immediately felt at home. There's a ton of cool artwork on the walls and the vibe is very casual. Wish I could pull some details from my fuzzy memory, but I'm sure we had a great time. Beer was cold, I'm sure of that.

Fly Bar had a decent food selection in addition to drinks and cocktails. They had a lot of outdoor seating too that was dog friendly. There were a a couple options for pizza and I loved the veggie one, and it was pretty affordable for the portion size. We also ordered wings and a salad which I thought were ok. Overall thought this was a nice bar with good outdoor seating and food!

We came for the trivia night on Tuesdays at 7:30pm. Be warned - it's ridiculously hard trivia. This is not just trivia you can cheat and google on your phone either. Mixed with a couple of drinks, our group got 12th place. But, the drinks are decently priced and we had a great time! We had sake bombs, sangria and a few mixed drinks and the tab was surprisingly low. Heavy pours and fun times overall! They also now have bingo nights on Monday, which requires no obscure knowledge and sounds more down my alley. But, if you know random facts about comedians from the 50s, then make sure to reserve a spot over on their Instagram page (it sells out always!)

The Fly Bar is a great local bar with a pub feel that is great for a casual drink out, week-day trivia night, or impromptu drinks with friends or on a date. This is worth the check-out if you find yourself on Divisadero! This is a great stop for some bar-food and a sports game, or a game of pool!

They are a great retailer, very knowledgeable of wines old world and new. They have a fantastic selection. My issue is with their auction business, which I think they have very little they can do about it as they are taking the word of the sellers that the bottles have been properly cellared. Multiple Aubert Chardonnays (2014-2017) bottlings, top end, have been clearly past their prime despite being in the start of the prime drinking window, and one bottle that was very tired. So it seems to be less of the "rare bad bottle" problem and more of a systemic issue with some of their sellers. I'll change this review if other such start-of-the-prime-drinking-window bottles through K&L prove to show they are drinking well and increase the ratio of good to bad items. I have a lot more of these bottles to test. Edit: may 2026 - a few more Aubert Chardonnay's going back to a 2018 Eastside were opened and we're all spectacular, crisp and peaked. Our stats are much better now on the aging of chards through the auction. Changing to 5 stars.

Yes I am so outdating myself! But it has been an upscale liquor store for a very long time now. I had actually seen this place on Instagram long before I ever came to San Francisco, mostly because of their pre‑bagged drinks. It looked like such a uniquely city thing -- quick grab & go mixes already put together so you don't have to think about it. When I finally made it to the West Coast, stopping here felt like checking off a small bucket‑list spot. You notice it before you even walk in, bright signs in the window, stacked drinks, and that steady flow of locals popping in and out like part of their daily routine. Inside, it's tight aisles packed floor to ceiling with beer, liquor, snacks, sodas, energy drinks, and a random mix of everyday essentials you didn't realize you needed until you saw them. The pre‑bagged drinks were just as cool in person, and what really made it memorable was that they hand you a cup of ice when you buy one. Simple, but somehow makes the whole experience feel intentional and welcoming instead of just transactional. The staff was friendly and quick, clearly used to keeping the line moving while still acknowledging everyone who walks in. It's not a place you browse slowly. You step in, grab what you need, exchange a quick hello, and head back out to Mission Street. However, we treated it like a tourist attraction, laughing at the drink names, and hovering around while we each picked a drink. Not a destination shop in the traditional sense, but for me it was. Really cool to travel across the country and finally stop into a place I'd only seen online and it lived up to the vibe.

I like curmudgeonly types as much as the next guy--I'm crusty and rough around the edges sometimes myself--but the first time, it was like he was itching for something to start an argument with me about. I haven't had that experience recently, but it did happen more than once. They do a pretty good business, but it's never crowded in an annoying way like Mission District or TL corner stores can be and often are. The prices seem high for the neighborhood, but I've mainly bought soda here, and it seems like every corner store is ripping people off on the price of soda at the moment. It's right on the edge between three stars and four, but I'm feeling generous today.
