I was looking for a bar to watch the World Cup 2026 this coming Sunday and I found this cool neighborhood bar called Lost Marbles Clement@9th, First impression; staff super friendly and attentive. I've been to other Bars and staff look like they hate their jobs. I was hungry, so I tried Ahi Tartar and I ordered my Tito's and tonic. The tartar was tasty. Then, I order Fish tacos; still waiting for them. Overall, this place is fun and entertaining. Music is good and you come with friend,, I am sure it would be more fun than coming by yourself like. I've walked by this place several times and finally got to try it! The bar is large, and the service was quick and friendly. Staff will come back to check on you regularly to see if you need more drinks or food. They had a lot of selection of drinks, from draft beer to shots. We had a few drinks, and my favorite was the Huckleberry sour ale from Mammoth Brewing Co. We also ordered the calamari, which comes with two dipping sauces. Came here for happy hour one night. It's a large space, plenty of people brought their kids. There's a pretty good happy hour menu (food, wine, beer, cocktails). I tried a bunch of different things- beer, cocktails, fried pickles, fries and a slider. They're all really good. The service here is great too. Order everything at the bar and they'll find you where you're sitting. Even if it's busy, the bartenders aren't bothered or try to rush you. read more

We stopped by Lost Marbles as we were craving beers on a Sunday afternoon, just as the Knicks and Pacers game was on. The bar is quite large and the service was efficient and friendly. We had at least 4 different beers on draft as well as the calamari. For $16, the calamari came with two dipping sauces. The portion was large and the pieces were big as well, which is a huge plus. We've been here once before, and this recent visit really impressed us -- the food has improved a lot and is now genuinely great. We tried all three of the West Coast IPAs on draft and enjoyed every one -- super fresh and well-balanced. For food, we had the French dip and the chicken-fried sandwich, plus a side of steak-cut fries. Everything was flavorful, hot, and satisfying. The menu is varied with something for everyone, and they also serve wine and cocktails, which is a nice bonus. The space itself is beautiful -- stained glass, antique decor, and a gorgeous wood bar give it a warm, inviting vibe. After this visit, it's officially part of our neighborhood rotation. I have lived in SF for 8 years and have never been so offended at a bar. I was celebrating my engagement to my girlfriend and we had our dog with us who's a service animal. All of the sudden one of the male bartenders came up to me and started grilling me about my service animal and what skills he has and is trained in. He wasn't satisfied with my answers and kept asking me more questions and commenting on my dog's behavior who was just excited to see our friends who showed up to celebrate us. Came to this pretty cool Inner Richmond brewery. It doesn't take long to get to from Golden Gate Park so it's a nice place to relax after it. Lost Marbles is more about the beer it seems. Also has food but it's more like an afterthought. The prices are kind of high but not crazy for a craft brewery in a nice area though. A cool looking interior with the bar in the middle and tables around. It's not that big of a place but it wasn't cramped the last time here. The beers are the main thing. A pretty good variety of beers to choose from. It's about $8 a pint. This is kind of a lot but it's typical for a local craft brewery though. Because it was kind of chilly, it was a good time for the Pineapple Upside Down Cake Winter Ale. This has toasty caramel flavors and a tart sweetness. As for the food, they don't have a lot. There's a happy hour menu. It's $5 to get the Pretzel Knot. The other menu items include Chicken Tenders and Crab Cake Sliders. Honestly not that much to eat here. This is also only for the evenings so it's limited. Beers are what they care most about. It's a brewery of course. There's a lot of interesting sounding ones on tap, but if wanting to eat, then come for the cheap happy hour that has a few offerings. read more

Walking into Lost Marbles gives me nostalgia for its previous occupant: Pizza Orgasmica. While I think fondly of my experiences eating sensually named pizzas while luxuriating on the floor, Lost Marbles has a fantastic, inviting atmosphere with a funky nautical theme. Although it is a brewery, we wanted to try the cocktails on the menu since there is a dearth of cocktail bars in the Inner Richmond. I got the Baby Spice while my partner got the Scary Spice. The Baby Spice was really refreshing and quaffable. The mezcal and chartreuse paired really nicely with the blonde ale, making a super drinkable beverage. I only wish it was a little bigger! The Scary Spice was also interesting, with the pepper liquer adding a nice kick to the rye whiskey and vermouth. With the giant screen and tv's everywhere, this would certainly be a place to come back to to watch a game, or just hang out. We will be back to try the beer! read more

We came with family and waited for a table. we got inline and ordered drinks and used the QR code in the table to order food. after 40 minutes I went and checked on the food. The manager said he couldn't find the order. He came to the table and we showed him the order and the receipt of what I already paid for. The manager came back and said he couldn't find the order but would put it in if we really wanted to wait. That seemed crazy to me, you should try and promote your food. He said okay I will put it in and ask for it to be rushed. I said why don't your bring us a pretzel to tide us over. He did bring a pretzel and it's now been 40 more minutes with no food. I feel like the manager didn't care and definitely didnt't take care of us. It makes me very sad as we live here and this disappointed me. read more

It's so fun coming in early on weekends for drinks and bringing our own games to play. The staff is generally friendly and quick - we always order at the bar and grab a table. Unique ambiance, a great hang out place even during the day. There are super large TV where you can watch sports, but the bar still looks cool and doesn't have the sports bar vibe. The place is pretty big and what was impressive was the HUGE screen towards the back. I got an order of the garlic fries to snack on and they hit the spot. Would want to note that they were a bit on the oily side because when I finished them, there was a decent pool of oil left on the plate. For drinks, my friend and I got the Not So Naughty and Pinky Up Lemonade, which were both zero proof. To be honest they didn't taste the best, a bit too watered down and not that flavorful. However, trivia night was painful to sit through, it's 2 hours long and could be way shorter if the host just asked the questions. He would make the worst jokes and wouldn't stop, no one was laughing at anything. The jokes were just so weird, he never got the hint that he just was not funny whatsoever. A group of women were next to my group and thought the same thing. The jokes got so weird and bad that it got to the point where I didn't even want to walk up to this guy to show him my answers and look him in the eyes. Genuinely the weirdest trivia experiences I've ever had and I do hope they can find a new host. Other guests would chirp at him after a bad joke and get more laughs than he did all night. read more

We reserved a back table for a surprise birthday (about 20 people) for my husband and the staff here were THE MOST HELPFUL, KIND, AND LOVELY PEOPLE. Drinks were great, solid beer selection, and they didn't make a fuss over our birthday cake - even bringing plates and napkins our way. The bar is far larger than it seems from outside. I'm seriously still in awe of how kind they were to us. The vibe on a Saturday night was mellow enough that we weren't shouting the whole night. 10/10, will support and recommend them for the stellar service alone. read more

A mixed bag of good to great food and service. We were at Lost Marbles for a buddies birthday. We were a crew of about 15-20 people and there were 2 other parties of a similar size. Our crew was the first to arrive and service from the male barteener was great. Then it got crowded and a second bartender was added. She was not nice to anyone. The good to great food. The calamari was decent, but didn't quite hit the mark. The French dip was a standout, delivering delicious flavors that left me wanting more. I did not need more. It was the perfect size and what I needed. The poor to great service. As the venue filled up, we noticed a considerable drop in service quality. The experience with the bartenders was a tale of 2 extremes. One bartender was fantastic, providing attentive service and making us feel welcome. Unfortunately, the other bartender fell short in terms of friendliness and attentiveness. Lost Marbles Gastropub offers a mixed bag of culinary delights and service. I never leave reviews but had the most horrible experience. Will not be returning. I came in with friends for a drink and I had my trained service dog with me. I was immediately rudely confronted and question by a staff member about my dog. I politely informed the staff that he is a trained service dog. The staff member asked the service my dog provided and I explained to him it was for my anxiety as I suffer from horrible anxiety attacks. I offered to show proof, he proceeded to interrupt me and arrogantly explained to me that "my dog is an emotional support animal and not a service dog and anxiety isn't a need for a service animal so he's an emotional support animal". He argued with me that I don't know the laws and that I needed to look them up. I told him "I'm aware of the laws and I am informed". He ended it with "we'll just so you know we are lenient on it" but told me that my "dog better not be off leash, bark, be disruptive in anyway" and I assured him "because he is a trained service animal he will not be doing any of that and that he will quietly sit under my feet". He ended it with a passive aggressive "just so you know". My service dog performed his task and acted as he should, sat quietly under my legs. As someone who manages a brewery and works in customer service, the owners should be ashamed that they have someone that is so blatantly rude and unaccommodating to trained service animals.
