The fries (all we ordered) and drinks (we all got wine) were great. The seating situation left us a little confused and frustrated. There is a huge outside patio with lots of heat lamps and ample wind coverage. They ask you to first order a drink and then find a seat (which was not clear). Once you go outside you are focused on finding a seat (esp when it's crowded) that you don't see a sign that says "please wait here to find a seat". We ended up waiting in the line but there were some other people who didn't ...we let the waiter know and he said it wasn't his job to mediate whether or not people were following the rules (even though the person admitted they didn't know there was a line). I would recommend clearer rules or servers who can help explain the process

Great beer, service, and vibes. Love the backyard outdoor space! Great for groups, families, kids, and also dogs (I love seeing families and kids here!) There's a fire pit and cozy bench seating and lots of space heaters. There'll be lines on weekends and Fridays when Lovely's (a great burger place in Oakland) offers burgers as a pop-up here. Come early because you have to wait in line to order and then wait in line to snag a table.

They have a very nice patio area great for hosting large groups.

They have a lovely patio area with heat lamps. Was walking through the area with my friends after brunch and decided to stop in for a look see. Got some drinks from their decent sized selection. Ordered from the register first, then sit. Our drinks were brought out to us pretty quickly. Will definitely need to go back and try some of the food.

We were so excited that Lovley's is now available in Cole Valley! The vibe in the restaurant and outside is so cute! They even have a fire pit for those colder nights. We came here on a Thursday when the Holiday market was on. It was busy inside but didn't seem overwhelming. It took over an hour for us to recieve our food. I suppose the restaurant wasn't ready for a crowd but they kept quoting us incorrect times for when our food was going to be ready. Food was yum but have to give this 3 stars due to how long the food took.

Limited menu for now. They're planning to have 12 beers on tap

So far we've only had drinks here. They opened this brewpub in the old Reverie space. They re-did the back patio space and added a fire pit. The service has been fast and very friendly. The food offerings should be starting in about a week. Expect burgers and fries and such. The outdoor space is a great draw for this place. It's also a great addition to the already fun neighborhood. They only have 4 taps right now but will have 12 soon. Also, interesting wines that they make themselves. The sparkling rose was a favorite of my wife's. We're are very happy they're open and ready for the beer and wine loving people of SF.

This place is awesome! Met some friends here, and love all of the lovely outdoor space. Very family friendly, there were lots of little kids and dogs around. We grabbed some beers and found an outdoor table to sit before ordering burgers. I feel like the quality for price point is great! We absolutely plan to come back. They have impossible patties as well, so non-meat eaters can still enjoy. I would recommend coming early on a weekend, as it gets packed quickly.

Tldr: solid burger/beer spot, sad amount of seating Had lovely's for the first time in Oakland, was delicious! This one is comparable! Good beer menu, a tad on the higher cost end. Nice staff. Both indoor and outdoor seating but hard to find a seat - can only order food with a seat

I love this new location of Woods!! Perfect central location, amazing outdoor space and fantastic food/drink. I really appreciate the abundance of patio heaters they have in their outdoor space, it makes it super comfortable to be out there during the colder months. The burgers from Lovely's are super good, one of the best smash burgers in the city. I like how their burgers come with all fixings, it's not like you have to get the "deluxe burger" at a higher price just to get lettuce on it. I love this new spot and will be back regularly!

cute little brewery next to dolores park! i stopped by to just grab some cans to enjoy, but this seems like a very lovely place to grab a beer and enjoy the ambiance. the bartender was very hospitable and the beers were locally brewed and pretty delicious! service was great as well, i would definitely recommend and come back to try other beers.

Super great burger and great drinks but be prepared to wait up to an hour for food on busy nights. Love the patio. Be aware of the wait.

It's a sophisticated, intimate pocket of wine country tucked away in the lobby of one of the city's most historic hotels. Mr. Chiang was a wonderful and most gracious host. He shared the story of the "judgement of Paris", which is what had me drawn to the tasting room. As a somm, I am fully aware of the story, but I don't recall ever having the wine before. And as a big fan of Bourgogne, I took advantage of the opportunity to try the famous chardonnay. Simply put, it's reminiscent of a Grand Crus Bourgogne... something from Montrachet but with a little more sunshine. No wonder the judges picked them! And the rest of their wines were no less impressive. When you swirl a glass of their Cabernet, you can taste that distinct Calistoga "dust" and the structure that comes from their specific hillside vineyards. I've always considered graphite and cassis the hallmark of a good cab, and both are present in their 2013 cab. Still youthful, vibrant, and very balanced with the perfect tanning. The Riesling deserves a shout out because it's beautiful. If you are a fan of GG Mosel Riesling, then this wine will give you a run for your money. Lastly, their 2023 Zinfandel is brilliant and youthful, but can definitely use another 5-8 years to add more layers and complexity. But if you like fresh red fruits with a hint of darker berries mixed with the same volcanic dust notes as the Cab, this would be a great choice! It's a testament to their winemaking that the sense of place travels so well in the bottle. And when the opportunity arises, I would like to be able to visit the chateau and breathe in the terroir...

I met here with an acquaintance to discuss something important over drinks & we had a special time. The nature of our discussion was certainly influenced in a relaxed manner by the mild volume music playing, soft lighting, and high ceilings. The interior was beautiful, very custom lighting covers & wooden racks. Somewhat large selection of wines/sake but it wasn't overwhelming due to the simplified menu that they provided. Service was top tier, a server stopped by about three times to collect empty containers, refill water, and check-in about how the drinks were. With a friendly expression on their face each time. The lucky dog sake juice box and beer combo was SUUUUCH a good move! I've been a fan of the lucky dog/cat/chicken brand, for their fun packaging of beers. However, I did not know that they craft sake wine boxes too. That is out of this world! And I believe that, to use a baseball metaphor, they "hit the ball out of the park!" On this one. The beer wasn't half bad either. Would I recommend going to Millay? Hell yeah dude!!!

I love the vibe of Millay - artsy decor, pink neon lights, and cute seats to sit in. I tried two different types of clean + fruity sake, and it came in such a cute ceramics! The cashier helped us choose, and we were able to taste it before purchasing. I also loved their basket of Asian chips! They even made it a lil fancy by cutting the top and making it look like a bowl haha. A great spot for a small social gathering of 2-4 people. I love the chill vibes and intimate setting. I will defs be back!
