They took my order for delivery and told me the cost. We got off the phone. Later, someone called me back and said they couldn't deliver because I was not in their covered area and that another location covers my area so they canceled my order. I explained that I'd already called the other locations and they said they don't service my area either. I was roughly 5 miles or less from all three locations. read more

Only thing that could make this restaurant better is if they had a more dedicated waitstaff. The waitresses are usually answering phones and working with to-go orders, so sometimes it takes a moment or two before they notice you need something. It's hit or miss, sometimes they're right on top of it the entire time, and other times be ready for a wait. HOWEVER....that said, this is MY FAVORITE PIZZA IN COLUMBUS. (do you get how much I love this pizza???) I didn't even have a Flyer's nearby when I first moved to the area, so I was pleasantly surprised after meeting one of the owners that he gave me a card good for a free pizza. So we tried the Old World Pepperoni. It's my favorite pepperoni pizza since every bite is a little crunchy circle of spicy-ness. I love crunchy pepperoni. But then I suggested to my husband we try the BBQ Chicken pizza. He wasn't all too keen on the idea, but it's now his all-time favorite pizza of choice there. Even when we try other kinds we always come back to the BBQ. It's nice because they put on a layer of tomato sauce first and then the red onions, chicken, cheese and BBQ sauce. So it's not a dry pizza like some I've had before were when they didn't use enough BBQ. My husband has also discovered the garlic cheese bread, and I love the salads there (love green pepper!) and so now we thoroughly pig out there each time we go. Especially since if you sit in the restaurant you get home-made potato chips too. Hopefully someday I'll try another location of Flyer's, like the one in West Jefferson - but for now this is my favorite. read more

Flyers is my favorite pizza chain in Columbus. I like to substitute their usual pizza sauce for the roasted garlic sauce. So good!

Even though this is a "pizza" place the chicken tenders, cheese sticks and pizza bombs have a huge place in my heart. I often order the sampler and always end up with leftovers for the next day. The pizza reminds me of donatos all in all when comparing. I have yet to try the old world pepperoni but im sure it's fantastic. We've been ordering from this location for a few months, it's a little out of the way for us to drive to but worth it. We've never had a bad pizza here and they are so friendly and efficient. We typically get pizza with old world pepperoni and cheesy garlic bread. Pizza is always perfectly baked, not greasy even with pepperoni. Garlic cheese bread is the same - perfectly baked and not greasy even with the cheese. Price is good, it's not hard to get a coupon but even if you don't have one, Flyer's is a good value. Great tasting food, prompt, efficient, courteous, store is clean. Can't ask for more. read more

I like supporting local businesses and Flyers makes it easy to support them by having excellent food. We love the Pizza Bombs and frequently add them on to our orders. They have some very unique pizzas and we are always drawn to trying anything new on the menu. The subs are good (though I wish they used something better than iceberg lettuce) and come in a variety of sizes and types. I had Flyers for the first time and was completely blown away by how good their Gluten free crust pizza was! In fact, when I first bit into it, it tasted so good and so much like what I remember regular pizza tasting like, I had my husband call in and confirm that it indeed was a GF pizza. They confirmed it was, and I had no problems digesting it. Absolutely the best gf pizza hands down I have had, EVER! And it's because it wasn't the usual super thin cracker like bland tasting crust that I'm used to getting, it was chewy with a little rise like American pizza is supposed to be! Flyers is one of the best pizza places in Columbus. I highly recommend the "Bomber" pizza. it is absolutely loaded with meat and vegetables. They have an amazing assortment of sandwiches (my personal fav is the nightmare). Their wings are probably the best I've had out of a pizza place. Great staff at the Galloway and Hilliard locations. The online ordering is easy and they have a decent rewards program. I recommend Flyers to anyone when they visit Columbus and have enjoyed their pizza for 20 years. read more

I used to love flyer's pizza... and then they changed their peperoni's.. so I had to switch to their "Old world" which is a about $1.25 more, which I guess is okay since it gets me better peperoni. Sooo now were talking about $14 for a decent pizza.... But now lately every time I eat there the pizza is soaked in grease and the dough makes me sick. The only thing I love about flyer's still is their sauce and breadsticks. So if you ask me, don't eat here unless you have to. It's gross, and your tummy will hate you later for it!!! I never even heard of Flyers until my work used them for a pizza day. Definitely a step above your average chain pizza in freshness, flavor, and variety. Everything is well-made and flavorful. I like their thick crust because it's still pretty soft and the edges are seasoned. I think I might like their sides and sandwiches better than the pizza, though! I always get a single appetizer sampler with mozzarella sticks, pizza bombs, and boneless wings and try to get the "Nightmare" sub whenever possible. My only gripe is that it's pricey, but it's definitely worth it. My orders have always been ready on-time and the staff has always been pleasant. read more
