I've been coming here for a year and it's about time I give it the 10/10 recommendation it deserves. I crave this pizza like no other - the sourdough crust is SO GOOD. I've never had a single issue even when I've ordered it for delivery. It's fast and always hits the spot. The pepperoni sticks might be the best breadsticks I've ever had. I am absolutely disgusted with their automated telephone system. I signed up for rewards and have been unable to use them. I cannot get a customer service representative. Whenever I call the number it says that it will send me to an available person and then it hangs up on me. I have called 20 times in a row. One of the messages said to place the order and then upon check out, it would give you the rewards price however, it did not, and it placed the order, which I am not able to cancel now and all of the items are full price without any of the rewards. Bad! Decided to come in and almost nobody were wearing aprons and no one was wearing gloves while making MUTIPLE pizza including a habanero. Me and my friend wanted to try it out so she paid and I feel bad for making her pay for that. Has anyone heard of CROSS CONTAMINATION?! especially with habaneros. Health hazard!!! Listen to the bad reviews for this place!! I got their 14 inch contest combo (their "most popular pizza") for $25!! and a 10 inch garlic chicken for $12.25. Both items were RAW in the middle. See the attached photo for a piece of the combo. No that is not cheese, that is raw dough after all the toppings and sauce have been taken off. Really fun atmosphere, YUMMY PIZZA!!!! And very clean!! I'm only giving 4star because we ordered two pizzas (1-10" & 1-14") with a side salad and they only brought out one 10" pizza and the salad. After waiting for a few minutes and eating our food, my hubby wondered where his pizza was so I checked the receipt and there was only the one pizza and salad on there. It actually turned out to be enough food cuz the salad was huge but it was a little disappointing that my hubby didn't get the pizza he ordered the pizza we got was out of this world, sourdough thin crust and literally one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The salad was good but it was just lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes and for what you pay I feel like they could have added more substance to it. Pick up order was not ready when promised. Waited at least 15 minutes more. Crust was right out of an air dried stack. Pizza was salty. I used to love flying pie and even dug my car out of the snow to get it. It was $18 for a small. Way too expensive, especially because it didn't taste good. First time in here and I'm kicking myself... why did I wait so long! The pizza crust is great, very good flavor and a great bite to it. The red sauce is perfect, not too sweet. I did ask for "easy cheese" and got a lot of cheese or at least in my opinion a lot of cheese. So either they missed that note or I need to ask for barely any cheese haha. When making a veggie pizza especially at Flying Pie (we just order the primavera) the water of the veggies like prevents the dough from fully cooking. The flavors were incredible and the ingredients quality. Air frying the pizza made it way better. Very expensive... I didn't give it five stars due to this. I nearly spent 40 dollars before a tip for a large pizza and a cheesy bread. I get that it is higher quality but wow my wages have not kept up with the cost of food apparently. Someone suggested this place and it was close by where we were staying so my family and I decided to give it a try. My daughter and I walked up to the counter and asked the employee what he recommended, which he suggested a couple of most popular pizzas. We were debating on a pizza in front of him. We decided on a 14' one, wondering if it would be enough for us. We decided on a pizza, beer and waters. While ringing it up, I noticed a sign behind him saying their special was buy 1 get one 1/2 off. I told him if that was the special and he said, 'oh, yeah'. It made me question why he wouldn't have told us while my daughter and I were debating between which pizzas to choose from in front of him. Why not say, 'hey, you can try both with our special!'. Nope, it didn't happen. Instead, I changed my order to 2 medium pizzas. He changed it in his register then proceeded to tell me it was over $48 for the pizzas, a single beer and 6 cups of waters. What? Oh, did he fail to tell me the water cups were $2 each! How about, 'just to let you know, we charge $2 for each cup of water'. He explained to my husband that it was filtered water. I asked him to remove the waters. Pizza took about 25 minutes to cook. Looking around there were a couple of dirty tables. There was only 2 people working but still, if there isn't enough time to wipe down tables, you need to figure out a solution. Pizzas arrived. There were plenty of ingredients on them. Pretty good pizzas but honestly after watching us debate on what pizza to choose and not mention the special and not telling us water was $2 each, we were disappointed. A place has to have the whole package which includes, customer service, cleanliness, decent prices and good food. When we got up to leave almost an hour later, those tables were still dirty. There isn't a shortage of pizza places in Nampa. Next time in town I think we will go try another place for pizza. read more

I used to take my family to flying pie and I never had any problems with there pizza but now all I see is kids working there that look about 16, I walked in and they were just standing there all talking as I can see orders in their screen and there kitchen was really dirty, I came in less than a week ago and they took about an hour or 2 for them to get my pizza. It was overcooked and the breadsticks were extremely doughy as if they messed up the first ones and rushed the remake ones out , my 4 year old daughter had a risk of food poisoning so we didn't feed them to her Flying pie went from my top 1 to absolute worst pizza experience I've had. read more

2nd time here, ordered carryout on a Tuesday night, picked up around 8:30 PM to celebrate my Fantasy Football Draft (FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE, LETS GO). Parking lot was pretty much empty, so parking wasn't an issue unlike my first time here (was more of an annoyance to me). The thing that shocked me this time was the quality has dramatically increased, at least this particular time on this particular night. I knew it was going to be good when I picked up the pizzas and they felt heavier than before (meaning the toppings were loaded). When I got home, I was surprised by the taste, and how well done the whole package was, from the crust to the cheese to the loaded toppings. I mentioned before that the quality wasn't as good as Meridian, but if I'm being honest, this time the quality was as good or even slightly better. I had to bump my review from 3 to 4 stars just because of how well the pizza came out yesterday. I'm not sure if the quality here degrades the busier it gets, they were working out the kinks in the earlier weeks after opening, or I just got lucky this time. I was disappointing my first visit here, but after this time, I don't have any issues recommending this place. I know you can't pick the person that makes your pizza upon ordering, but I believe the guy that made mine was tall, and had long hair (wore a cap). That dude absolutely killed it... If you walk in and see him working, then you will get the best of what this place has to offer (IMO). Overall, I think the only thing holding this place back is the pricing is still a LITTLE high, and the location during peak hours is a madhouse. We would have already come back - just hoping the little things get fixed.** This location of Flying Pie is consistently disappointing - it is nothing like the Meridian and Boise locations. 1. I think it has to do with the oven, but every pizza regularly has 2+ inches of dried out crust all the way around with no cheese or other toppings. 2. Their delivery service is AWFUL. I have waited over two hours during non-peak times, only to get the wrong pizzas delivered. This was handled by offering 2 free pizzas. Therefore, we only use carry out, which is usually quick. 3. Tonight we ordered two medium pizzas and the price was over $32.00. (One was 2 topping, one 3) 4. One pizza was accurate, though with the trademark 2 inches of dried out crust all the way around the outside. Our sausage, green olive, and onion pizza had NO SAUSAGE. When I picked it up, I checked the pies, thinking the sausage was under a thick layer of mozzarella - nope. 5. Most of the employees (guys and girls) have long hair and, though they wear hats, none of them wear hair nets - gross. Came here on a very excited and 5-star review of a friend. Service was fast and mostly friendly. Ordered a medium sausage pizza with salad bar. Pricing was pocket friendly for a family. Salad bar was pretty standard, with a few fun extras (pre-made salads, extra meat toppings--which were great!), but Ranch dressing was flavorless. Tried the Chipotle Ranch for some flavor and that was almost worse. The pizza crust was great, but the cheese was rubbery. Pizza had okay flavor, nothing to rave about but overall a good experience. The team was friendly and the beer tap bar looked pretty eclectic, so that was a very nice touch. Would go again if in Nampa, but wouldn't make a special trip. K, I can't sit here and say that they have the best pizza, because while good, it's not the best. By that I just mean that when I get my standard for comparison (pepperoni and onion), it's .... standard. Which is good. BUUUUuuuut, they have the best selection of top-knotch specialty pizzas I can remember seeing! Why the five stars? One word- Habanero. It's a seasonal specialty pizza that I tried (at the lowest of four heat levels) mostly so my friend could laugh at me as I suffered. While it did pack a punch, I was shocked and amazed at the flavor. It's on red sauce and mozzarella, and also topped with chicken and olive. Great combination, and it's what turns this pizza from "something to eat on a dare" to a freaking favorite that I legit crave! With multiple doughs, a bunch of sauces, seven different cheeses, and an enormous topping selection, it's no wonder they have a ton of cool specialty pizzas. You can also just go nuts ordering unique combinations. They also have a salad bar, so you can eat healthy while you shove pizza in your face. Coolest thing- a beer fountain. You get a card and pour your own beer, and the selection is pretty good. The artwork is cool, and the TMNT mural on the wall in the bathroom marked the first time I've ever taken a picture of anything in a bathroom.
