I nice little brewery tucked away in the heart of Downtown Elizabethtown Kentucky. Parking is limited here so do try to get here at a decent time, there is also street parking. They do have pop up food trucks that come here, if you want to know, just follow their Facebook page and you can also have nearby Impellizeri's delivered here. I have had their flights and I really can't choose a favorite beer however, Mangolorian has been a hit with me. It's one of their fruity IPA's and I'm not an IPA person however, I will make an exception here. I am impressed with the service and selection of beer for such a small brewery. Definitely a place I would visit when visiting Elizabethtown.

After touring mammoth cave, we find this cool neighborhood brewery. Great staff, great brews and delicious Cuban food truck. I had a delicious sour (taste like a Jolly Rancher) and stout (yummy). Hubby enjoyed his ipas. Loved the local vibe. Nice place!

Nice beer options, some made on site and others to choose from. Hard to read two different walls, when I said I was looking for sours they told me to read the other wall. Service was friendly but not overly knowledgeable on questions or recommendations. Really nice dog friendly patio, lots of kids here with parents who were not overly attentive to them. Parents fault, not bars fault.

Visited here this past weekend. Nice casual spot and good selection of beer and ciders. Good size bar and inside seating. Outside patio had covered space and tables in the sun. Will be back. Oh, they also had some other local breweries on tap. Have it 4 stars since no food options but they have nearby options for delivery.

I came to Etown to celebrate a friends birthday and this is the place she chose! It is a quaint little brewery, that offers many beers. They have locally brewed and then also outside beers. They even offer other spirits, like wine and bourbon. It features a wrap around bar with table and couch seating on each side of it and there is also outdoor seating. Plenty of games to keep you and your group entertained, and also two dart boards. I know they have food trucks on site from time to time, although there wasn't one on the night we were there... but they do allow you to bring in your own food. It is right next to the police station- so don't get wild up in there! LOL

Absolutely loved this brewery! They had various types of beers that are brewed in house along with some beers from outside vendors. The brewery is kid and dog friendly. They have different board games along with darts to keep you entertained while enjoying your beer. They have a beautiful outdoor patio with plenty of covering for hot, sunny days. Can't wait to go back and try more of their beers!

They got plenty of beer brewed onsite!

Flywheel Brewing is a great spot to drink. They brew their own beer so every time you visit they will have something new to drink. They have a patio with tables, games, and live music on most weekends. Next time your looking to go out drinking with your crew or on a date stop by Flywheel Brewing you won't be disappointed.

Best brews and service in town when Landon or josh are tending! In house barrels and home town brews straight from the freshest batch! Great seating in and out, as well as an open outdoor space complete with life size JENGa and cornhole! Dog friendly -- which was a major plus being a local dog lover, my puppers were welcomed with open arms by this establishment. They gave my longboys a deep dish of purified water and made doggo treats ala carte! My doggo fam appreciated the humane treatment and expressed interest coming back to holler at some b**ches at a later time- so this place is a full 5/5 IMHO

Very nice little brewery in Elizabethtown. I went there with some friends for the first time on a Friday evening around 5. It was a little busy but not too bad. They have a variety of beers that are brewed there and a variety of others. I tried the Y U Triplin? and the Brown Recluse. Both were good. The first was really strong and the 2nd was very smooth. The atmosphere was really cool. The bar was plenty big enough and there were several tables for groups. There was also an area with sofas and chairs. An outdoor area was available and had corn hole games. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying more beers.

I ordered their truffle shuffle, it was massive & juicy, the patties & the buns are huge!! Along with sweet potato fries & it paired well, and ate it tf down! My partner ordered the big stop, his was also delicious but he said the patty is excessively big & he preferred a thinner patty, which I also like thin patties, but I enjoyed this burger a lot, it was much needed & we were hangry!!! When taking a look around, you can see everything for the brewing up close & there were games displayed while waiting on the food! I appreciate the area, because there's lots to look at around & should definitely stop by the antique shop across the street, parking wasnt so bad since we parked on the street & just a cute quaint spot!

I had a Kentucky Mule to start and my wife had a cocktail (don't remember which one). Both were good. They have a great bourbon selection but other liquors are more sparse. I'd referenced my last review to confirm what not to order (the wings, the bbq sandwich). I was bummed to learn they didn't serve burgers at this location. My son and I decided to split the nachos with chicken and pesto chicken flatbread pizza. Underwhelming, plus our flatbread was burnt on the bottom. Their smoked chicken isn't fresh or grilled - it's likely out of a heat and go container you buy in the grocery's deli meat section. Based on another round of mediocre food options, Goodwood is only a spot to enjoy a beer and catch up with friends. They also have live music. Looks like a private room is also available but I can't imagine hosting here and serving their menu of food. Family friendly bar - we had our teen and another family had elementary school kiddos. Friendly service last night, coming in and heading out. A bookshelf of games is available. Street parking is fairly easy to find.

This brewery goes back to the early roots of Louisville . The barrel aged beers and ales make a unique and distinctive addition to the bourbon and other spirits they produce. During the 1960s a plight to save this area began. Many shot gun shacks surround the area. They are shacks with their own quaint detail and design. They have carried this over in the decor and style of ales. This brewery is too cool they have no holds bard for anything that steps on an inch of human rights. You can be black, white, illegal or rainbow all are welcome wherever; just leave the hate alone. Love and support for others is carried on here. In fact it's the main purpose for this thread of Louisville and butchers town. The action of activism is truly alive here in Louisville and all over the city, not just this brewery. It's beyond belief here. Love and the community come together for what we have seen. The art that is in the lobby here truly shines through. Now come and join in the passion that connects us all. It's the fact we are all human and not ashamed to admit our existence. We are not mistakes. We will drink and appreciate our fellow humans and flaws but work together to solve the issues that plague us. Let's drink to that!

I got the Mango-Colada Sour, and this was delightful. It seems like Butchertown Brewing really excels at sours, fruit beers and fun concoctions. So if you're not afraid to "fruit the beer," this is a good place to check out. They also have seltzers, hard sodas and more typical beer offerings. And while it is small, you can still easily find food. It's right across the Mellwood Art Center courtyard from Danny Mac's Pizza (my all-time favorite Louisville pizza spot!). And you can order via Danny Mac's website and choose to get it delivered to Butchertown Brewing. You don't even have to leave your chair to get delicious pizza! Butchertown Brewing also hosts fun events, like the aforementioned trivia. Actually it was trivia bingo -- so the more fun, easier-to-play version of triva, which I actually won a prize in! I won a gift card to come back to Butchertown Brewing, and I will definitely be partaking again soon!
