I love this place!! I needed an oil change and I've always gone to the dealership (with a coupon), but this time I didn't have any coupons. I yelped local places and saw this place had good reviews. I called and made an appointment for Saturday at 10a. I got there around 9:45a and he wasn't in yet. In fact, the shop wasn't open at all. Right when I was walking up, this young man asked me if I was there for an oil change and I told him yes. He introduced himself as Nathan and he helps out in the shop. We chatted until Franco got there. Once there, I was offered coffee, tea and donuts. I denied them all...mmm donuts...but I had just come from the GYM! :( Anyway, he took my car right away, I filled out a form, then maybe 15 mins later he came out and let me know what they were doing and recommendations. About another 30 mins later he let me know they were all done and took me into his office to pay. He let me know my battery is going to die soon and I should really change it. He also told me he has a mobile guy that can replace cracked windshields and he could get a quote for me if I wanted it. I told him I planned to fix it once I was done paying the car off in a few months. Anyway, overall really good service! Oh and I got a call from him today (5 days after the oil change) to check on my car and make sure everything is running well. Oh! And they have a card X amount of oil changes and the next one is free...that's pretty cool. BTW, it's a little hard to find. There are two drive ways...one to go in and one to go out. When you go in the first driveway, go all the way through and loop around to the other side and they're almost all the way at the end...hope that makes sense and helps! read more

I arrived to this place around 9:00 wanting to get my oil changed and get my car inspected. I've read all the great reviews here so my expectations were pretty high. The place wasn't open, so I decided to call.. No answer. I left and grabbed some breakfast. Within 15-30 minutes I had received a voice mail from Francisco. He said he was just returning my call and that he was sorry for the inconvenience. I drove back to the place to get my oil changed. Upon arrival I was greeted with a big smile and a few apologies about how he had to pick up some parts. The oil change was fast! Great price too. Took my Subaru WRX into to look for a vacuum or boost leak (yes they test it here; however, they use a smoke machine which I am fine with). I first met Robert at the front where he assisted me with everything I needed including free donuts and snacks. Fransisco came out shorty after and sat with me to discuss my car and any other issues I had with it. This made me feel very safe and comfortable. Fransisco would frequently come out to give me updates, which was amazing since I wasn't sure how long it would be. After a disappointed visit to McKenna BMW, where they wanted to charge me almost $200 for a nonrefundable diagnostic test (this is all to replace my daylight/ park lamp bulb) I decided to Yelp some local auto repair shop. I called one place and the guy promised to call me back with a price quote but he never did. I should have known since he didn't bother to take my number and just referenced his caller ID. I'm glad I decided to Yelp on...because that is when I found FNP Auto. Francisco was informative from the beginning and gave me two separate quotes (parts and labor) and was able to see me the same day! When I got there he came out to greet me by my name, offered me something to drink and free WiFi access while I waited. They took my car in right away. He estimated about an hour wait and kept his promise; occasionally checking in on me to see if I was okay. When the repair was done he gave me a Yelper discount and went over the service. Besides the replacement of my of my light bulb, they raised my car and took pictures of my front and rear brake pads, checked my tire pressure and the quality of my tires. My wife and i called asking for an estimate on my LED installation for my 2000 BMW 328ci, was quoted a very GOOD price considering the labor and it turned out to be more labor than expected but Franco kept to his word and stuck with the first price he gave me over the phone. I can't think of another mechanic I would go to other than this place. If your knowledge base on cars is zero to none, going to a mechanic is much like going to the dentist. You never really go unless you have to and your willing compromise comfort until its unbearable. Once they pop that hood open for inspection you cross your fingers and hope they keep the list short and the cost low. If "getting what you pay for" applied to all mechanics then I can walk away with a peace of mind; however, that isn't always the case. So I've been using yelp to read reviews for years. I've always come so close to writing a review about an awful restaurant or an amazing dining experience. But, I never get around to it. Whether for good or bad, I just didn't want to give out my yelp review virginity to just anyone. Well, I found someone to give it up to. And I didn't get to eat anything. An auto shop??!? This is my first review? I can't believe it myself. First, let me admit the bad. The shop was hard to find at first. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to park in front or find the bay in the back. I guess this will only be an issue for first-timers. (Answer: park in front, they will drive the car around back.) I can also add that they didn't have a TV in the waiting room, but I didn't have to wait long at all, so that kind of cancels out. They seem pretty new, so maybe that TV is coming any day now. Ok, the good. The service is amazing. Franco knows how to build rapport and trust quickly. You'll feel like you have a best friend who works on cars and is offering his services to you. I recently finished my manufacturers' warranty and got a little fed up of having to go to the Ford Dealership. I never trusted them. One trip, they would say my brakes were terrible. I'd get a report card saying my brakes failed. Being a cheap guy, I pass on the repair. Next oil change and service, now my brakes get a Green passing grade on the report card... What the hell? What's my point? Those days are over. Franco gives it to you straight, and you can tell he wants what's best for you car. He found some issues with my brake fluid, and did some other diagnostics free of charge. He shows you his test strips, and also a print out of how your car did. This is nothing like a jiffy lube experience, where every fluid you have needs to be replaced or else your car will explode if you drive one more mile. It means so much to have a mechanic you can trust. Franco doesn't play at it. He's not a salesman, he's a guy who loves cars. I almost felt guilty for taking up so much of his time, and all he did was charge me the 21.99 for the service. I have some pending issues, AC problem, and a squeak coming from my wheels. I really appreciated the time and patience that came with the service provided by Francisco at FNP Auto. I brought my car in for an oil change but also asked if he can check out some other things on my car, such as the shocks making a lot of noise. After the oil change, I met with him in his office to go over the findings and what needed to be done. I've never gone to a shop where the mechanic will take pictures to thoroughly explain and show to me what repairs needed to be done. Because who remembers all that stuff when they just verbally spit all those details to you? Even better is that I got an email at the end of the week with the quote, prioritized list, and the pictures. He is well trained and goes through all the repairs your car needs and list the price along with if urgent or non-urgent repairs. Him and his wife, Pearl, are just really good human beings in general, always going out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Service - Service here at FnP is top-notch. He is meticulous detail in his work and he shows when you get your repair here. No matter what you bring your in for (oil change, repairs, and so on...) he gives you a full run down on what's happening to your car. He will take pictures and thoroughly explain to you why and if you need to repair it or hold off on it, he also email you the pictures too! Price - Nothing much to say about price but it is equally fair. His price for is honestly more decent than other places I know. The only thing that is pricy is the parts you pay, but than again if you don't want your car in again do not buy cheap parts, it is as simple as that! Customer Service - Again this place go above and beyond to cater to their guest/customer. There's also coffee, tea, water, sometimes donuts and snacks provided when you wait. Best thing here, free wifi AND a basket of chargers for all phones, I mean I do not know why other place do not follow this practice. Hands down, this place lives up to its reputation on yelp! The reviews are as real and honest as Francisco is. I came in for a diagnoses on a used g35 and was immediate greeted by Francisco, which is rarely for your local auto shop owner to do. I was surprised by the initiative he took for the customer services as he broke down what was included in the diagnosis. I left the shop. During that time, I was email pictures on what he test for the car. Afterwards, he called me in to tell me that the diagnosis is done. Francisco is truly your honest and nice mechanics. Not only did he wait for me after business hours but he also took his time to explain to me what's wrong with the car and what services should be done. He took about an hour after business hrs just so I can be aware of the issues at hand while he could have just took my money and said here's the paperwork that follows with it. BUT NO, he genuinely took his time and went step by step of what is causing this issue. He told me he will sent me a quote and the prioritize the importance of what maintenance is. SUCH a great shop. No, I'm not a relative and no, I'm not that guy that compliments every place on Yelp. I'm quite the muscle car enthusiast and I am VERY particular about where I bring my cars. I found FNP Auto on Yelp just as you did, while searching for local shops since I'm new to the area. I brought my daily driver in (a GMC Jimmy) for servicing on the windshield wiper system, installing a brand new key ignition & some work on my faulty gas gauge. Dropped the truck off overnight after work. Received a call and an email from Francisco (he's the "F" in "FNP") to let me know that the car had been received and that they would be getting started on it immediately. I had to make a trip out of town while this car was in the shop. While out of town, I received a detailed email regarding what needed to be done, what didn't need to be done and what I should expect to pay for the services. Also accompanied by the detailed email were attached images of each part Francisco was addressing to show what he was talking about. SUCH a huge help to be shown a leak or a broken part so you know you're not just having a mechanic tell you somethings broken to inflate the bill. Francisco would not start on the repairs until I had given him approval which a lot of places DON'T do which can lead to a huge bill that you didn't approve prior. Had a CSL bumper installed by Francisco. He was able to manage keeping all the OEM parts that came with the original bumper with the new CSL bumper. Felt great not having to give up my reinforcement bar behind it just for looks. The bumper looks great and fits nice and snug to my car. Although he does not do car paint jobs, he had referred a very experienced friend do the paint job for my bumper (the paint was on point and the shop was called DND right next door.) I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I searched for an auto shop in my local area and FNP Auto was the first one that popped up. After reading some of the reviews, I decided to try it. I WAS AMAZED. The location may seem a little unassuming, but what goes on inside is awesome. I called and asked about a service and received an e-mail with a quote for service within two hours. I made an appointment, missed said appointment, and was accepted the next day without a second thought. Francisco called me through out the process to update me. He took several photographs of an oil leak under the car and brought it to my attention. Mind you this leak has been there for a while, and I JUST had the damn car inspected by Ford for a warranty, and they told me NOTHING about the leak. So they either completely missed it (which I find hard to believe) or they didn't tell me with the hope of making more money. Francisco is professional, kind, and straight to the point. Called FNP Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment immediately for an oil change. Francisco and his two extremely sweet (and well kept) dogs greeted me, offered me water/tea/coffee, and then got right to business. It wasn't a quick in an out job but it was well worth the wait for them to do a thorough check, with my permission of course. They never did anything I didn't want to do and always asked before making a move. Francisco was very professional and personally showed me everything they found to be in need of repairs and or upgrades (took pictures too). He even explained in detail the functionality of each area of my car (because I asked) and never pressed me to make any decisions to tack on additional services. He was also super awesome enough to get quotes for front and back struts (which were leaking oil from age and use) for me as well as a body shop that could fix up my rusty tire plates. He said that if I were to decide on changing my struts with them, it would take a couple days so he'll give me a free rental during the time I'm getting it fixed.
