I was looking for blue color high density Styrene. I confirmed the color through pic on web site. but the they sent me white one and I asked customer service about this. Then they said "The product is white and the picture on my monitor looks white, but it does have sort of a blue hint." on email. OMG~~!!! I needed to get 3 sofa cushions redone with new foam last week, I called the foam supplier I have used for over 15 years only to find out they are no longer in business. I got on the computer and did a search, found several not to far away. I decided to try Foam Mart.....well I couldn't have been happier with their service and product. It was my own fault that this was a rush job...but they took care of me with no trouble. They were very friendly and knowledgeable about their products and what foam density would best suit my cushioning needs....they measured, cut and wrapped the foam.....and did what my previous place did not do...and that was...they stuffed the wrapped foam into my casings I had brought with me. I walk out with a finished product and am so happy with the quality of job they did. This will now be my new favorite foam supplier!!! read more

On the Foam Mart website, I found some great (and SO AFFORDABLE!) acoustical foam panels for my little recording studio. I even called to check stock. But after driving from Costa Mesa to their Culver City store, holding a printout of their product spec page, the clerk (Mendy, who ended up being an AWESOME young man!) told me the website must have had a misprint because that size and thickness wasn't available, especially at the low price listed on the website. He offered me smaller panels, at a more expensive price per square foot. I was ticked off because I hadn't driven an hour to be subjected to a bait-and-switch, especially after I had called ahead of time. Mendy really wanted to make it right, but he wasn't authorized to deviate from the price list and give me a comparable deal to what the website advertised. So he put me on the phone with the owner, Andrea, at the Burbank store. While she resisted at first, she finally proceeded to work out a fair deal with me for the acoustical foam panels they did have in stock, which were narrower but thicker. She flexed on her price, and I flexed on my dimensions. We both were satisfied with the deal. I am very happy with my purchase, and give Foam Mart 5 STARS, not because everything went perfectly, but because they did the right thing when things went wrong. (Thanks, Andrea!) They've gone out of their way, and been very creative in cutting custom foam pieces for my microphone containers. Bring in your seat cushions and let them recommend, cut and put new foam into your zippered seat cushions with their vacuum machine that squeezes the foam before inserting into the cover, a job you could never do yourself. What an awesome shop for foam. You options are endless here with great staffs to help you with questions. Awesome Customer Service all around. I came to this shop looking for L200 and they had thickness of L200 in 1/4" to 2". They not only had L200 but all the way up to L400. I pickup some other foam also for leather working embossing backing, cosplay (haven't done it before going to try now), and other art project. Their staff are great they all were friendly and worked as a great team. Aaron was greatly helpful with answering all my question and even pointing out different stuff foam around their shop. Aaron and other stuff there took great care of their customer even with a busy rush. They all helped each other so that each staff were able to focus their helping customer need. I had a lot of question since I had many project that will probably need different foam type. Aaron was right there to answer it completely. Other staff would help him by cutting up the foam piece while he help me with other foam piece I was looking at or answering my other questions. Thanks again Aaron and other Foam Mart staff. If you need foam, this is the place to go. They seem to have everything you need. I go there every time I need to reupholster any furniture. They also have foam floor tiles and pillows as well as lots of different fabircs. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They will either reupholster the items for you or give you some instruction on how to do it yourself. What more could you ask. The prices are a little high but the quality is nice. read more

I've done business with Foam Mart for many years, but mainly just buying pieces of foam for home projects. Recently, I was there to buy a large piece of thick foam to add to add a chaise lounge that I had had reupholstered a few years ago that was never comfortable after that process. I was just going to add a loose cushion to the whole thing hoping to correct this, but after i bought the foam and laid it on top, I realized that the top of the chaise wasn't even flat! The foam tipped up at the end. I brought the chaise in and discussed it with Ray. It was only then that I found out that Foam Mart can actually reupholster things for you. They took my foam and reincorporated it into their fabulous reupholstery job. My chaise is back to its original comfy self. I can't say enough good things about Ray and Foam Mart. And the price was cheap enough that I could rationalize having it reupholstered again even though I had already had it done not that long ago. Not to forget the GREAT fabric that only took 5 minutes to pick out. I told Ray what I was looking for and he said, "Oh, here it is" and it was just what I was looking for. read more

This store is great. They have foam and coverings in any type and style style. It's not the cheapest place in the world but it has a great variety and several options to fit your budget. My boyfriend and I stopped in to shop for a piece of high density foam to sleep on during our trip(s) to Burning Man. We walked out with a full size piece of high quality foam that was awesome for sleeping on for about $100. Not cheap and not super thin (we rolled up the foam and fit it into our Prius easily with all our other stuff) but was less expensive than the sleeping pads you purchase at REI or camping stores. Again, I know those are thinner and easier to use for backpacking but that wasn't a requirement for us and we didn't want to spend $200/pad. The foam was comfortable and held up great in the savage heat of Black Rock City. YAY! I just called today to see about getting it covered since we only took it home in the factory plastic. They said $195 for just the labor...ouch! I'm going to sew a cover myself from some Queen sized sheets. read more

Be forewarned...FOAM MART failed to follow through on a special order in a timely manner. Ray in the Burbank location did not communicate in any form that the order had arrived nor was delivered to the Culver City location. When I followed up, a week later to tell RAY to refund my credit card because I had not been contacted and I had to made other arrangements, he was argumentative and unprofessional and told me to call the owner ANDREA in Culver City. Today, 3 weeks later, my statement does not reflect any refund and ANDREA refuses to refund despite the fact that they didn't deliver the goods. I do not recommend either location. I am now disputing with the credit card company and reporting them to the BBB. read more
