Went here tonight and was not impressed. The two people at the front gave conflicting information about being seated took me to a table while the other said I had to wait for my party to arrive to be seated. When it came to the drink server she was gone through the dinner. I ordered wine and it took forever and when she did bring it she made an excuse for the delay. When it came to getting the check two different servers were gong to get it for us and took a long time to come. As for the food majority of the meats were over salted to the point you can eat it. This included the filet minion while the chicken was very dry and the bacon that wrapped it was very over cooked. The food bar had a number of things that were out and it wasn't till our meal was over that they replenished items. Question is would I go back and the answer is probably not.

This review has been sitting in my drafts box for a while now. This review is from a little while ago, so now sure if the staff has changed now bud. I had Mixed Feelings - Amazing Servers, Poor Management Judgment The servers at Fogo de Chão Albuquerque are absolutely top-notch. Shoutout to Youseff, Jillian, and Aden--you all made the evening feel warm, welcoming, and fun. There are honestly several great team members here who work hard to provide an excellent dining experience, and it shows. Unfortunately, the reason I'm leaving a low rating is due to a disappointing interaction with the restaurant manager, Jared Snyder. I came in to relax and enjoy the night with friends. While I do have a very high tolerance for alcohol (I can easily handle 15+ drinks), I had only 4 drinks and was nowhere near intoxicated. Yet Jared took the word of a 19-year-old server, who--while undoubtedly well-meaning--is not even of legal drinking age and shouldn't be in a position to judge someone's sobriety. To make matters worse, Jared admitted we appeared completely sober, but still refused to allow us to order another drink, simply saying he couldn't overturn the decision of the underage server. There was no apology, no effort to resolve the situation with professionalism or courtesy--it felt dismissive and tone-deaf. On the other hand, Youseff, again proving his leadership qualities, came over, apologized sincerely, and took the time to speak with us like adults. He quickly recognized that we were coherent, respectful, and simply trying to have a good night out. He went above and beyond to salvage the experience, and honestly, he should be the one managing the place. Fogo has great food, excellent service staff, and a fun atmosphere--but management should seriously reconsider who's empowered to make key judgment calls on guests. A lack of common sense and empathy from leadership can quickly ruin what would've been a fantastic evening. Even corporate was very bland and dry about how they handled it.

Another visit for an absolutely fantastic dining experience. Let's start with the parking - plenty of it and free. Next, as soon as you enter the building, the smells of cooked food and the sound of Brazilian music greet you. Along with a friendly lady who seats you in a pleasant dining room. The service is quick and efficient, and you control how fast you want to have your meat. As for the food, well, this is why we really come here (often). The buffet salad bar includes salmon and soups. We had a lobster and shrimp starter as a part of my birthday reward. As always, the meat choices are excellent and friendly servers will cut you as much as you want, or don't want. Bonus servings of simply delicious, mashed potatoes, fried banana, and to-die-for small cheesy muffins. Brazilian lemonade to top it all off. We really like this place and plan to return many more times.

    Busy night.

I thought returning years later for another birthday dinner would be a celebration to remember. The buffet wasn't special and didn't taste fresh. Too many waiters repeating what we need as I dropped my knife took many waiters were successful to replace. The place is pricey which does not reflect their staffs to food.

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.

I was immediately impressed by the staff. you couldn't ask for better care and warmth. we participated in any activities that were offered and made new and lasting friendships along the way. thru those years there were difficult times. I guess the most difficult was the pandemic when we were limited to movement within the building but you would be amazed attn lengths the staff went to to keep us happy. delicious meals were delivered to our door ( we ordered from our menu's ). Games were played at each door if you wanted to participate and there were fun prizes. The weekly wine socials were brought to your door. Meanwhile, all the necessary health precautions were taken. The apartments were thoroughly cleaned weekly. When necessary, immunization clinics were brought to each resident and if you wanted to participate, they made it easy. Eventually that passed and life got back to normal but it's hard not to recognize the professional handling of that difficult time. The building was renovated and mad lovely for us. If anything needed to be updated, it was life moved along smoothly and I must admit, to my surprise. There were many staff changes but amazingly, the staff remained warm and caring. Deep down, I can forget that they are dealing with many different personalities and sometimes elderly people can be a tad grumpy. The loving staff simply overlooks the bad days. Food is always an issue but the menu is large with choices for everyone. If that isn't enough, there's a really great Bistro you don't want to mis. The activities are numerous and year round. Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and outings take place twice a week. All you have to do is signup. I can't close this without mentioning that my husband passed away in 2022. it was a difficult time made easier by the Fairwinds staff and especially the management. Being100% deaf and disabled, my family wanted me to move to assisted living despite my reluctance. Doralei warmly helped me make that decision to move and very graciously helped me find a comfortable apartment. The move was smooth and the golden treatment given by the health and Wellness staff has been perfect so I have to admit that it was the proper move. When I need appointments, the transportation service is wonderful and I can't forget to mention the wonderful drivers. Do you see how fortunate I furl that all those years ago, we made the decision to move here it was the perfect one. You can't go wrong.

Extremely disappointing experience at Sixty Six Acres…read more We walked in and were seated immediately on the patio. I had read so many positive reviews and was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we walked out without ever being served. While we sat there, multiple staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. No greeting. No water. No "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Then another couple arrived after us and was seated in the same small patio area. They were promptly greeted, given water, and attended to by a waiter who seemed more than happy to serve them. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there trying to figure out whether anyone planned to acknowledge our table. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was looking around and realizing there were no other Black or Brown patrons in the establishment at the time. I cannot definitively say race played a role in how we were treated, but given the stark difference in service between our table and the couple seated after us, I would be dishonest if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. We eventually got up and left. Good food reviews mean very little if certain guests can sit at a table while staff repeatedly walk past them as though they aren't there. Whether this was discrimination, poor training, or simply terrible service, the experience was unacceptable and left us feeling completely unwelcome. We came prepared to spend our money and enjoy dinner. Instead, Sixty Six Acres made it very easy for us to take our business elsewhere.

After several locals recommended Antiquity, we quickly learned why reservations are so hard to come by. We couldn't secure a table on our actual anniversary, but managed to get one a couple of nights later, and it was well worth the wait. From the outside, Antiquity is understated. Step inside, however, and you're immediately welcomed into a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Owner Steve, who has been running the restaurant for nearly three decades, greeted us personally. His passion for hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. While we waited briefly for our table, he took time to learn about us, ask what types of food we enjoy, and offer thoughtful menu recommendations. The restaurant itself is charming and authentic, with an old-world steakhouse feel that perfectly complements the historic New Mexico setting. Many of the tables and booths are arranged to create private, intimate dining spaces, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. We were touched when Steve seated us at what he called the "anniversary table," complete with a small scattering of heart confetti, despite our celebration having technically passed. Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Rather than relying on a single server, the entire staff worked seamlessly together. Water glasses were never less than half full, empty plates disappeared almost instantly, and every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a memorable experience. Even the kitchen staff engaged warmly with diners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it exceeded every expectation. We started with oysters on the half shell, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I upgraded to the special salad, a beautiful combination of greens, apples, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, bacon, and a creamy mini brie, all brought together with a delicious pear vinaigrette. For our entrée, we chose the Châteaubriand for two. It was expertly prepared, carved tableside, and cooked perfectly. Every recommendation we received was spot-on, and the meal was so impressive that before leaving, I made another reservation for later that week just so I could return and try more of the menu before our trip ended. Antiquity offers beer and wine rather than a full bar, which was perfectly fine for us and fit the restaurant's classic, understated character. This is not an inexpensive dinner, nor should it be. What you're paying for is exceptional food, genuine hospitality, flawless service, and an atmosphere that is increasingly difficult to find. Antiquity doesn't simply serve dinner, it creates an experience. If you're visiting Albuquerque and looking for a memorable meal, especially for a special occasion, this restaurant deserves a spot at the very top of your list.

Really excellent food, everyone enjoyed their dishes immensely. The Not so Great: They were out of the wines we tried to order - all 3 that we tried to order off the menu, none of which were crossed off (dozens were already blacked out). We finally stopped trying to pick what we wanted and just asked for a suggestion out of what they actually had in-stock, that was similar to what we asked for off the menu that they didn't have. We wound up spending more than what we had originally selected, but the wine was good. It's unclear why they're out of 60% or more of the wines on their menu. They said something about "switching over", whatever that means (from what to what?). They should just print a new menu with what they actually have, not play this game where you try to guess what they might not be out of, that's dumb. Even if it's just a couple of pages of wines that they really have, that's better than 6 pages of stuff that isn't avaialable. Service was mixed, our waiter Shawn was great, but there were other issues, below. The building has some deferred maintenance issues, the bench seat at our booth fell apart when we got up, stuff like that. The entry wasn't very welcoming, but the food was so good, it would make up for everything, except for this.... Now for the Really Bad: We told them about allergies at the table, but when I ordered the dessert crepe with cherries jubilee, I was instead served a crepe chock full of walnuts. Wrong dish, and I'm allergic to walnuts. It was rolled up and filled, so I thought maybe the cherries were inside. I took a bite and has an immediate effect. I spit out the bite (which is embarrassing to have to do at a restaurant with guests), but it was too late. It's not life threatening or anything, but I spent a very miserable night, as a result. I barely got an apology 'sorry they delivered the wrong dish', but no serious concern, and not a single penny off the bill. They didn't even take the charge off for the dessert that I didn't get the first time, and was unable to eat once they gave it to me, because my mouth was on fire. Our table of 4 spent about $400, so it seems like they could have done a little something for us. At least sincere concern, but it it existed, it was never expressed to me. On the way out, I spoke to the owner, who was standing out front (yelling at wait staff about when tables were clearing), and told him the situation. He literally said "what do you want me to do about it?" Well, Dude, something. But no, nothing. He said he will train the staff to be more careful. That seems like something that should have been done already, so this didn't happen to begin with. He said "I owe you one", but didn't take my name or any information for this future unnamed favor, didn't offer a gift certificate, or even a dessert to take home. It seems serving food the customer is allergic to should warrant some kind of acknowledgement. At least a free dessert, or a gift certificate to enjoy a future meal - one without an allergic reaction. Not sure if I'm going back. The food was so excellent, I may go back, but the other experience was very unhappy.
