Honestly its only 3 stars bc most of the food was good and so were the drinks. Hostess was very pleasant as well. The servers service was extremely bad and all over the place and took forever to get someones attention. It seemed like it was all their first day or they just never got trained. I do NOT get on yelp everytime something slightly doesn't go my way, so I would greatly heed this warning. Went here for Valentine's day dinner last night. I booked two weeks ago for 8:30PM. the hostess i called told me they take their last reservation at 9:30pm. I don't know if she got this mixed up or what cause according to them they close at 9. We got there 10 minutes early and were sat quickly but the second our DRINKS hit the table at 8:45, they said "the kitchen is closing so any meats you want you need to order now we'll bring them by you one last time". When we hadn't even eaten a bite of our starters or taken a sip of our drink. They bring out the meats which are obviously from much earlier in the day because everything was SO well done you could barely chew it. It was horrendous. It was dry, and the meat was all black and brown. Mind you, I've been to Fogo in NYC multiple times and loved it. Meanwhile they're walking around cleaning up and YELLING to each other across the whole restaurant, ruining the atmosphere, and making us eat as fast as we can as they're all loudly talking about how they're trying to leave asap. Our server, who was very kind, was running around like a chicken with his head cut off trying to close up. We are so quickly I was stuffed, but only for an hour bc it was only bc we had eaten so fast, NOT a lot. I think I had four meats in total. DO NOT accept reservations at 8:30 if you plan to close at 9. That is insane. And do not yell across the room when you have guests. Awful experience, it was my bfs first time to Fogo, safe to say he'll never go back even at another location. Huge waste of $200 Spare yourself and go spend $70 total at korean bbq (so good in closter is amazing) or hotpot for MUCH more food, good quality, at a MUCH cheaper price. It didn't feel like a date at all, we literally sat down and were out in 40 minutes. I was so embarrassed I told my bf it would be good. I entirely blame the restaurant. Never again. read more

The meat was salty, and taste like frozen prior, the advertisement shows one price and the bill was double when asked the waiter about the price on the website he said you get lower end product but not the high end meat, the restaurant is beautiful but price is way high for the quality. TLDR: took 25 mins for menus to arrive, they were extremely stingy with the top-tier meats, and delivered us the wrong birthday cake Our experience at Fogo surprised me. We arrived to celebrate a birthday, and from the beginning we found the customer service and competency to be lacking. Our table of 10 were seated and we waited to be served beyond just water. We asked for menus a couple of times, but none were delivered. We weren't sure who our primary server was as they had multiple servers come around. We kept asking for menus, they'd say they'd grab some for us, but nothing every materialized. Finally a server listened and began listing off the menu options. Not everybody in our party wanted the "churrasco experience", so they wanted to know what the entree options were. The server said it was easy for him to explain - and he went on to list several entrees. 5 minutes later, after he was done speaking listing off menu items, we asked again for menus. Only then - about 25 minutes after we were seated - did we finally get menus. The market table was smaller than I expected, but you can find some delicious options there. The meats were great, but we barely got any. We asked for filet probably 10 times, and they ONLY brought the filet at the tail end of our meal. I recognize the filet is likely one of the most expensive cuts, so they want to be stingy with it, but the blatant effort to rotate cheaper meats vs more premium was really disappointing. We'd ask for filet - we'd get pork chops. We'd ask again for filet - we'd get bacon wrapped chicken. I asked for top sirloin, never got it. It was like that for an hour and a half. I would have left Fogo still hungry, which should be a cardinal sin for a brazilian steakhouse, were it not for the birthday cake we brought. They were very stingy with the meats. Then it was time to cut the birthday cake. We brought a cake to celebrate a birthday. We asked if we could get our cake. They brought out somebody else's cake. Literally, they brought out the wrong cake. They apologized profusely and then, ~15 minutes later, came out with our cake. All in all, I was pretty disappointed by the experience. I may be back with my husband one day, but I think we would probably need to mentally prepare ourselves to advocate for the meats we want, which creates an unnecessarily stressful dining experience. read more

Came here recently on a Saturday night with reservations for the first time to celebrate a birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to find a very aesthetically pleasing lounge and bar area where I waited for other people in my party to arrive. The service was good at the bar and mixologist was cordial and attentive. Unfortunately my dinner experience was not as good. The dining area has an area towards the back of a wall that seemed to have a much nicer ambiance but we were not seated there. Instead they seated our party of four in an open area that protrudes outwardly into the mall facing kiosks and mall passerbys walking around in flip flops and tshirts. It felt more like I was dining in a food court than a steakhouse. Although we voiced our disappointment we didn't make too much of a fuss even though the vibe was not one would expect for a place like this and the price for a meal . The salad bar had a lot of good options if you are a vegetarian. (One in our party was and we were happy that he had other options to eat besides steak!). The meat options were just okay. We liked the ribeye and the garlic steak. But the rest did not blow me away. We constantly had to remind the server that we needed water or condiments or drinks. There are multiple people, who I assume might be hosts or managerial staff that came by to ask if we were doing okay. We would remind them that we were waiting for something. They were pleasant and told us we would get it right away - But it still would not come. I would suggest to have less managerial people whose role was only to come by the tables to ask if we are doing okay and have more runners and servers who actually make sure that we are doing okay. The value of the meal was good from a price point perspective when compared to a steakhouse, But I would rather pay more to get better quality steak and service and to not be seated in an open mall area for dinner. That said, I really enjoyed the lounge area before dinner and would consider coming back for happy hour after a day of shopping for drinks and a quick bite. read more

Just had dinner at this restaurant, mind you without reservation they made room for me to grab a table, I wish they had not. What a terrible experience service was so poor. My waiter ran off in the middle of taking my order, came back and apologized, took my order and never checked on me. While I was at the salad bar my table was completely wiped, I returned to no utensils, water or any semblance of service. One attentive waiter (not mine) asked if I needed help, he then tried to grab my waiters attention, but was unsuccessful. Honestly, appearance seems good from the outside, but once in, food was average, poor service and zero attention to detail or customer service. What a disappointment. Located in a former bank building, you enter into a high-ceilinged, cavernous and beautiful room. So the ambiance was exciting. Unfortunately for our party of 5, that's where the excitement stopped. The first thing I had to do was ask the waiter to clean up a piece of meat on the floor next to our table. We ordered Brazilian cocktails such as the Yellow Bird and it was just so-so. The waiter also came around with a pineapple alcohol water drink which didn't taste like pineapple. We then had our salad buffet and the meat started arriving. If you love meat, you should try this place, although we were a little disappointed because all the meats, from sausage to pork to ribs to steak tasted about the same. No different seasonings nor flavorings and all cooked medium. Only the filet mignon was tender! On the other hand, the sides of mashed potatoes with scallions, Brazilian polenta with cheese and the tiny rolls were very tasty. Desserts were good as my Key lime pie was as good as I ever had in Florida. The meat service was good with a seemingly never-ending parade of waiters serving an abundance of meats. I also asked for ice for my water. Did you get it? I'm still waiting. So if you want quantity you came to the right place. Quality. Meh. All in all, for $120 each, it was just an OK dining experience. read more

Had the pleasure of attending an event as they get ready for their grand opening on 2/13/2023. Get your reservations in and wear loose pants. We had the rodizio and it was very good. I stayed away from the chicken and pork so I can't comment on those but all the beef and lamb were great. It comes with mashed potatoes, and sweet plantain to the table. Included also in the price is the food bar, which gives you different types of cheeses, cured meats, salads, rice, soup, etc. Tip-they have these bacon bits there, I added them to mashed potatoes. The drinks were very good too. Some are pricey but they have about 6-10 drinks (spirits and wines) that are "happy hour" all day. Good value. I had the caprihinia and a malbec wine. We had a fabulous time! We visited on a weekday for lunch to celebrate a birthday. It's not easy for us to sneak in a date so we had very high hopes to make it a special moment - and this exceeded our expectations!! The food was exceptional and if you've never had churrascaría style dining it's really fun. The restaurant design is attractive and upscale, even though the location is inside a mall, we felt like we had stepped out of the hustle of all that and into a fine dining experience. The service is top notch and very attentive, and we enjoyed it, although the everyone-for-every-table style can be a touch confusing as different folks check on you repeatedly for the same thing in rapid succession. I also found that my seat on the booth side of the table was quite low compared to my husband on the other side in a chair, but it wasn't a major distraction - easily fixed if they add cushions or something! Highly recommend - go to Fogo for your next celebration or date night. read more

It wasn't easy, but they gave us the best "quiet location" they could find! We'd been out with friends and had a wonderful time. We'd been there before, but it was their first-time experience and they were impressed! The food in the market area was fresh and very appealing. The whole table ordered the CHURRASCO EXPERIENCE and it did not disappoint!! I would highly recommend the Churrasco Experience to any first-timer. We were visited numerous times by management to check on our table to be sure everything was okay (Jasmine was VERY personable!). The whole staff was terrific including the servers, the Brazilian cowboys, the bussers - all great. Our friends were most impressed with the attention the whole staff gave us! The place is huge and beautiful. But As soon as you sit they hardly come around and bring you any meat .and you wait and wait and wait then they drop one or 2 things then more waiting. Must of been at least 45 min before they started to come around more often . I understand the price of everything now and how they need to cut on things with such big production but you can charge people enough and give them enough food at least you r meeting their expectations. My family of 4 ordered the Brazilian cut experience! Bad experience and worst Brazilian steakhouse I have ever been. Service is mediocre at best. 15-20 minutes between the rounds. Chicken drumsticks and sausages seem to be their favorite with pork dry center cut comes second (They brought it around every 15-20 minutes) and all I never had at a Brazilian steakhouse. Meat cuts are low grade that's not seasoned right and came around every 30 minutes or so. Never again! read more

Went for dinner on Easter Sunday; was able to get a reservation earlier that afternoon, which maybe should have been a red flag. Due to,traffic we arrived 20 minutes late and received a mild scolding, despite the fact that the restaurant was basically empty (at least the outdoor section where we sat). Waited about 15 minutes at the bar before we were seated. I've been to several Brazilian steakhouses, including other locations in this chain. I like the format in general, but was underwhelmed here. The salad bar is more limited than others I've been to, and lacked for seafood offerings. The meat, which should be the star of the show, was inconsistent. First serving of lamb chips was very good; second was close to shoe leather. The meat did circulate at a decent pace, but the cuts were not great, and all of the meat was under seasoned. We split a dessert which was pretty good. I might have gone lower on the rating but our server was outstanding, which ameliorated an otherwise lackluster experience. read more

Really wanted to like this place - the food was good but I'm not sure if they were understaffed or what their issue was. The food took forever. While the bartender was nice, she looked overwhelmed as she constantly had to apologise cor delayed food to me and other guests. This automatically distracted her from who needed another round of drinks and avoided eye contact with the guest so no one else inquires where their food is.
