I ate the bar the other day and got a burger. I asked for it medium well but unfortunately it was raw. I had it wrapped up and brought it home. I'm sure I could have been cooked to the correct way I ordered it but I ordered desert to go too but they brought it out not to go. So I'm not sure what the issue way. The ambiance is very nice I'm sure I will check out another location and see how the service is.

I have been to Chima in Tyson's a few times, so I decided it was time to try Fogo De Chao. We visited on a Sunday night and were seated right away. We did the full churrasco, which gives you access to the salad bar and the meats. The salad bar was delicious and they replenished it frequently. The meats that were brought around were very good and came quickly when we had our tokens green. We did get a few meats that were a bit undercooked. I like my meat rare but some were less than rare. The service really sucked, and will probably keep me from going back to this location. My friend ordered a beer and it took a while to be delivered. Once they delivered it, they didn't open it and we didn't have a bottle opener. We also had a waitress that only visited our table twice but was frequently checking on other tables. We kept trying to make eye contact with our waitress to get our check, and she just kept ignoring us. We barely got water refills as well. The table beside us also didn't get helped much, and they ended up making a complaint with a manager. For the price, I did expect that we would get some service, it felt like our table was invisible to our waitress.

First let's start with the thought: What a GREAT ALL day HH spot! So, I came here on a Friday and thoroughly enjoyed the casual, cool, and welcoming vibe. I sat at the bar, which gave a sense of community. The consistent customers and waiters of Fogo all knew each other's names and gave a sense of genuine care for one another. I ended up getting the Saucy Legs and the Picanha Burger for a grand total of $16 ish dollars... what a STEAL! Then the portions and taste... no disappointment! Needless to say, I WILL be back.

We've been going to various Fogo locations for years and love it. This location can get packed so make sure you have reservations and be prepared for vibrant noise. Get the Churrasco Experience. This is the real deal here. Continuous tableside carving of Picanha (prime part of top sirloin), Fraldinha (bottom sirloin), roasted chicken, ribeye, lamb chops and sausage. All juicy and super flavorful. Prices are not cheap but for the amount of food and the quality it is worth it. Reservations via Open Table.

We came here two days after landing from Brazil and four days after visiting the Brazilian Fogo de Chão in the Brazilian city centre. Very different places, this one was very loud and the frequency of meat offered especially the higher end meats were infrequent. We were offered more chicken lamb,, gizzards, bacon wrapped in things. It was only after I complained that someone came over to my spouse and spoke to him. The place is not conducive to an intimate evening. The meat was hot and seasoned well; however service didn't meet up to expectations, drink was good- we had the traditional Brazilian drink- Caipirinha. After walking away with my mother, my spouse said people came by and served him because Melissa, the Customer Service Representative, brought them to him. She was very responsive to our feedback. We stayed and decided to order dessert, just to give the another chance. We ordered Coffee and dessert just to check on service consistency and it's an issue. Melissa came over and asked us if was ok. My 95 yo mom asked " where's the dessert " she asked if we wanted more coffee and said that she'd check on the dessert. Barry asked if they provided sleeping accommodations here to me. I told him no. Dessert came with Melissa's help. She's great- we're thinking that they had a busy night.

I've been to the Reston Fogo 3 times and must say the latest one is the least enjoyable experience. It was for a Father's Day lunch with my son a day early on Saturday. The salad bar selection seems to be of less quality than before. The plates they bring to the table with mashed potatoes and plantain is smaller than before. The meat going around the restaurant seems to be only around 5 to 6 selections with lots of chicken variations. I do like their chicken but Fogo is known for their meat so a bit disappointing. I had to ask for Beef Ribs and Lamb Chops which is unusual. Maybe it was Saturday vs. Sunday At least the waffles are still around for a good dessert to end the lunch. Might have to go to the Tysons location if I want to do Fogo again or try the other Brazilian restaurants.

Not every Fogo de Chao is equal! I've been a loyal Fogo customer for years, and I can definitely say that not all locations serve the same quality of meat. This Reston spot is probably the second best after the DC one, not just because of the vibe but also the steak quality. They always nail the perfect temperature, and the steak runners here really know how to get you the right cut.

I took a group of 13 coworkers to Fogo de Chão for an after work dinner and we all loved it. We got the"Best of Brazil" special. Service was spectacular! The meats just kept coming - one juicy morsel after another with stops at the fresh market bar for adding greens, cheese, fruit and salads. This was truly a memorable meal! Atmosphere is lively with lots of wait staff proudly bearing mouthwatering steaks to slice at your choice of rare to well done. Don't forget to save room for the dessert! I recommend the tres leches cake for a real treat. I can't wait to return for more!

The buffet is decent, the steak cuts are arlight - the cook and temperature of the meats is inconsistent. When we were being brought to our seats, I noticed, toward the front of the restaurant, there were plenty of open tables but we were led all the way to the back. I had a funny feeling we wouldn't be greeted with random options of meat. The choices at the Salad Bar were less than usual. Made reservations 6 weeks in advance and we were brought all the way to the absolute back end of the restaurant. We very rarely saw a gaucho and our server had to ask us a few times what we were looking for to get a gaucho to come to the back of the restaurant. Even after all of that, the choices offered to us were very slim. the first thing I asked for was leg of lamb. By the time they got to us with the leg of lamb, it was nearly picked to the bone. Had to ask for a filet mignon and bacon wrapped filet. The bacon-wrapped filet was not a good cut of meat, had a lot of gristle in it, very hard to chew. The best two types of meat we had were the spicy sirloin and the flank steak. The flank steak nearly melted in my mouth. The filet mignon servings didn't taste like filet mignon at all. Most common filet mignon servings are 6-8 oz of meat and the servings provided to us were barely 2 oz in size and well overcooked. Not exactly sure what happened but they were not up to par that night. The end bill being close to $200 for two people (no drinks, two desserts) was a bit much. May still visit here on certain special occasions but it will not be a regular occasion. Still better than the experience we had at Fogo de Chao in National Harbor but the service was lacking pretty badly. This was a miss on their usual approach to satisfying their patrons. Again, the place was packed but putting people who made reservations 6 weeks early all the way at the back of the restaurant, literally within 5 steps of the back door, felt like a slap in the face to someone who wants to enjoy the full experience. The Manager never visited our table to check with us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. I miss the Texas de Brazil that was in Washington, DC. They definitely showed everyone that they were the best in the area until the Pandemic.

When every dish lands and the vibes are just right, it's no surprise the seats stay full. Food: Aperitivos: * Dadinhos de Tapioca $18: Cheesy, light, and incredibly satisfying. The guava sauce was nice, but honestly, these stood perfectly well on their own. * Torresmo $18: Easily one of the top three pork belly dishes of my food critic career. Crispy, rich, and unforgettable. Pratos: * Peixe Cru $23: Fresh, vibrant, and beautifully composed. This dish set the tone for what turned out to be an excellent meal. * Frango à Passarinho $23: A playful elevation of fried chicken. The touch of honey added just enough sweetness without making it overly sticky. Churrasco: * Picanha Black Angus $41: Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The farofa added just the right amount of texture to complement a beautifully cooked steak. Service: The chef's counter seats give you a front-row view of the kitchen in action. The chefs engaged with us throughout the meal, our server shared insights about Brazilian culture and cuisine, and a few surprise shots didn't hurt either. The hospitality felt genuine and thoughtful, the kind that makes you want to come back and bring friends. Disclaimer: These are my personal opinions. We really enjoyed the food here, which I'll detail below. -Dadinhos de tapioca: tapioca cubes filled with cheese and fried, with guava sauce on the side. I thought this was going to be more of a dessert dish, given the sweet guava sauce, but it does work as a dish that straddles the line between sweet and savory. The outside is delicately crispy with a gooey inside that is easy to enjoy. -Coxinha de pato: Duck leg croquettes, dropped off as a complimentary dish, ended up being one of our favorites of the meal. It is generously (and appropriately) sauced with a pimenta aioli that you'll want to lick off the plate. -Estrogonofe de cogumelos: a variety of roasted mushrooms in a lovely savory sauce with shoestring potatoes and rice. A great heftier dish for vegetarians and omnivores alike, the mushrooms are that perfect roasted texture that is neither overly crispy nor slimy. Eaten in a bite with the crispy potatoes and rice gives it a perfect combination of textures. -Black angus picanha: Perfectly cooked and so tender, with an intensely flavorful crust. I savored every bite. -Arroz de brocolis: This is way too good to be relegated as "just a side". The rice is somehow creamy, yet not gloopy. -Salada verde: A pretty standard green salad but elevated with gorgeous lettuce and a light vinaigrette. I do have a pet peeve about restaurant salads where they leave the leaves whole. Why make me cut the leaves myself? -Gengibre: we weren't feeling alcoholic cocktails on a Tuesday evening so two of us each ordered the Gengibre NA cocktail. It is one of the best NA cocktails I've had, super refreshing and just the right amount of tartness. The three of us were quite satisfied after this meal, and after tax and tip our bill came to around $180. The service had nothing to really complain about, although we did notice that they were unusually assertive about clearing the plates of those of us who had slowed down, even though one of our party was still visibly eating. Odd, but not enough to put us off. Overall, the food and experience were excellent, and I'd say Cana is a great place for a special meal in the area.

I have been to this establishment every week for over 5 years. I loved bringing my 3 young children, husband and friends here. When I asked her to show some respect to elders (and injured elders at that), she refused to serve us and take our money. What kind of cashier speaks ill to their customers and refuses to take their money!? I feel really badly for the owner of Brazilian Bakery, because he hired a cashier who refuses to sell to his customer. She literally turned our $30 away. And only because I asked her to show some respect to my elderly mother. I was flabbergasted! I asked what is the problem? She said, "The only problem here is your annoying, stupid mother." Inside I wanted to punch her in the face, but because I have class and was raised better, I told her that she is what she called my mother! I promised her that I will inform her manager and other patrons about her awful customer service and disrespect. Thankfully, our experience turned out to be absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, the host was warm, welcoming, and very patient as we figured out which dining option we wanted. She clearly explained the different experiences--from the churrasco and Wagyu offerings to the sushi and small plates--and gave us time to look over the menu without any pressure. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with great ambiance and music that really set the tone for a special night. My husband chose the Platinum Tier dining experience for my special occasion and it was worth it. Our server, Mike, truly made the entire evening unforgettable. From start to finish, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He took the time to explain each dish, offered great recommendations, and made sure we were always taken care of. We started with Brazilian cheese bread, which was just okay, but the trio of flavored butters (gochujang, black sesame, and regular) was unique and delicious. Then came the Fire & Ice seafood tower, which was not only beautifully presented but also came with a dramatic tableside display. The grilled shrimp and oysters Rockefeller were excellent, and the chilled oysters and sashimi skewers were fresh and flavorful. The lotus chips on the side were also a nice touch. One dish that didn't quite hit for me was the lobster tempura--it was slightly salty and it was a bit soggy when I expected it to be crisp. However, the lobster bisque more than made up for it. It was hands down one of the best I've ever had--the broth was light but yet very rich and flavorful, perfectly executed!!! We were also served a shrimp egg custard that was interesting and enjoyable, though we were already starting to get full at that point! Then came the highlight: the unlimited premium meats. Everything from the A5 Japanese Wagyu to the lamb chops was delicious and high quality. The bone marrow pasta and Wagyu fried rice were standout favorites for us as well. The presentation throughout the entire meal was stunning--every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and visually beautiful. What truly made the night special, though, was Mike. He went above and beyond to make my birthday feel celebrated. He surprised me with all three desserts, a complimentary champagne toast, sparkles candles, and even two beautiful take-home gifts (a set of Japanese-style bowls like the ones used for the lobster bisque, with the restaurant's name on them). That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to us. We had so much food that we couldn't finish everything, and Mike kindly allowed us to pack up what we couldn't finished to take home. Overall, this was an incredible experience with outstanding service. Honestly, it was far better than when my husband took me to Hell's Kitchen a few years ago--we spent just as much there but received nowhere near the level of service or even a simple birthday acknowledgment. Highly recommend Churasko, and if you can, ask for Mike--he will take amazing care of you!

Went here to celebrate my brother's birthday for the whole family because I wanted to check this…read moreplace out after seeing it all over social media. Wow were we disappointed. We paid Michelin star prices for airport lounge food. That is how I can describe it. The silver and gold packages per person ARE NOT WORTH IT. They give you unlimited wine and beer but it's not wine you get to choose and they were out of the Japanese beer my brother wanted. They have house sake but you can't choose the sake you want. For the cost of what we paid per person (which includes tip) and the service reflects that. You could tell our server didn't want to come to our table very much at all. The only thing that blew me away with the gold package which is what we got was the grilled pineapple. The silver package sits you in the silver section with the silver buffet. The gold package sits you in the gold section with the gold buffet. You get the point so your party all has to do one of them...then there's the platinum which I will never find out about because it's NOT WORTH IT. I thought we were going to get lobster and oysters and all of the wagyu tacos I saw on instagram. I come to find out that is the à la carte menu and it is probably way cheaper than what we paid. The most disappointing thing was that we were told we were getting something called Australian and American Wagyus??? Yeah they were awful pieces of meat. I wanted the Japanese A5 Wagyu seared in front of me for $150 a person at a JAPANESE STEAKHOUSE. It's not the American steakhouse or the Australian steakhouse...it's Japanese...The Filet and Picanha were the softest pieces of meat they offered but even then I could have cooked and eaten better at home. Thank goodness the one great thing is that they didn't charge us for the 2 kids because there was no way they were going to eat $150 worth of food each. If they had charged us for the kids, it definitely would have been highway robbery. The sushi at their "airport lounge like buffet" wasn't great either. The sushi and seaweed salad was sitting out for awhile. It was my brother's birthday and we didn't get a cake- you could only choose 1 of 3 desserts from their buffet. I wanted to try the 4 milks cake but since we didn't know or do the à la carte we were limited to what they offered in the gold package. The ambience and vibes are cool. But definitely just stay downstairs and order off their menu. To do it right I would have gotten the first drink on the house for ladies at dusk and ordered from menu. I hate these kinds of steakhouses because you're always left feeling like you didn't get the quality -- you just got quantity. We felt defeated and I could have eaten better at Capital Grille or gone to a Michelin and at least would have felt more wow-ed! -after a $1,220 for 6 people, I honestly want my money back...
