I arrived in Philly and was very hungry. My day started at 330am. This was during the Microsoft issue in July '24. The airlines had tons of cancelations and late arrivals. I was supposed to arrive at 9am, but ended up arriving at around 2pm. It's was too late for breakfast at most places. Well, not here. They serve breakfast all day long. This is a big, busy diner. I love these places. This place did not disappoint. I ordered the cornbeef hash, potatoes, and eggs. The meal came out and it was a lot of food. It was probably enough for two people. I was hungry, so I ate it all. Piggy piggy. It was as good or better than i expected. This breakfast at a hotel or some of the other restaurants would have been $20+ . Not at Folcroft. Even with the tip, I didn't go over $20. The wait staff was very attentive, and everyone worked together. The place was nice and clean. Everyone was nice. I will be coming back again.

The service was great! The food was very good! The restaurant was very clean. I had the cream chipped beef which I loved. My husband had a big breakfast with pancakes, french toast, eggs, hash browns, bacon & sausage. He liked everything except the bacon. He said it was too greasy. We will definitely be back.

The Food was amazing. My only problem is that my home fries were not crunchy, everyone else had crunchy home fries, even the toddler. ):

If you leave this place hungry it's not their fault. The Folcroft Diner Serves up exceptional comfort food in a comfortable diner setting. Reasonable prices are the norm here! Service is great. Kind and caring wait staff. Their daily specials are always super tasty at a great price. I sometimes get another meal out of their specials so that's double the fun! You'll never do you wrong coming here for a meal.

A decent diner but not award winning like I had heard. We took a longer drive to get here than I would've for a basic diner. Tried the stuffed mushrooms they were good but basically crab cakes on a mushroom. Sweet potato veggie was delicious. French onion soup was also good but nothing special.

JEEZ LOUISE ! This place is Astronomical omg!! You definitely have to try the french toast. I took one bite and almost passed out from excitement !!! The waffle was PACKED with flavor! Talk about 5 star dining! The waitress is someone I'll always remember, super personable and very attentive!

One of my favorite places to go to is a diner. 90% of the time the food is exactly what you need. It's quick and comes with a coffee that just feels familiar. You sit down in the booth with the paper place mat with the local ads and you are instantly transported to the heart of whatever city you are in. The staff is super friendly and attentive for the fact that it's a busy spot with only about a handful on staff. I got the Cheesesteak Omelette since I'm in Philly and it was great. Exactly what you picture in your mind it is. The home fries are crispy and seasoned well, but ketchup takes it up a notch. If you are looking for a good breakfast spot make this on your list.

The guy working in the kitchen was very nice and recommended a cheesesteak for lunch. Amoroso rolls were what he told me they use for bread. They have several tables for dine in and the place was well heated for a cold winter day. It was simple and clean inside. My cheesesteak was average, it was pretty greasy and flavor wise wasn't bad. I'm not a huge fan of amoroso rolls for cheesesteaks, the grease also soaked into the roll quite a bit. The portion size was small, but the for the price I think it was on par. I think I paid just under $6 for the sandwich. I'll have to return for breakfast which seems to have much better reviews!

Inside it's spacious with plenty of seating and fairly clean considering the age and lack of updates. On this date I'll give a little leeway to service because the cook was in the hospital and the lady 'owner' was alone. But I'm here to tell you she worked that grill, those phone calls, the counter and tables! I ordered the hungry man special 3 eggs, home fries, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 French Toast and 2 pancakes all for $6.99! It was good and plentiful. Each item was enjoyable. I have to say I had several cups of coffee and it's some of the best around. Next time I'll bring a book to read as I sip my coffee and wait!

The carpet was clean not soiled with food stains or the last person sitting at your tables meal. This place is really cute and appears to be an all female staff. Okay GIRL POWER! As for my experience there is a large breakfast menu and lots of daily specials. I went with the PHILLY style cheesesteak with eggs on a nice soft roll but authentic cheesesteak style. This came with home fries casserole, potatoes with fried onions, fried green peppers and melted cheddar cheese. My server multitasked cleaning, serving etc., all with a pleasant demeanor. My meal was a great value for $7.95. At the end I added a Pepsi I was a little disappointed when I was told it was fountain soda but not to worry it had the necessary kick. I had a very good experience and I'll be back very soon!

I'm not saying that I would come here if I wasn't staying on site, but for someone who spends 100 nights or more a year in hotels, I've seen some pretty bad breakfasts... I think I was most surprised by the potatoes that were actually crispy and not soggy like the norm. Eggs, bacon, sausage, variety of breads and muffins and a few juice options filled the void. Service wasn't great, but the hostess did offer me a carafe of coffee. So again, the need was met. If you're staying at the doubletree and want a quiet place to be left alone to eat a quick breakfast before catching a flight or hitting the road, the Landing is a decent option!

When I made our reservation online, I included a special request asking if we could be seated by a window to enjoy the river and, hopefully, the sunset. They were able to accommodate our request, and we had a beautiful view of the river. It was a little cloudy, so the sunset wasn't spectacular, but the scenery still made for a wonderful evening. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the Fried Fresh Mozzarella Bruschetta, and it was outstanding. The fresh tomatoes, perfectly fried mozzarella, and balsamic reduction came together beautifully. The mozzarella was cooked just right--not overdone to the point where all the cheese oozes out--which made for a great bite every time. Cindy ordered the Scallop Risotto, served in a lemon butter wine sauce. The risotto had a great consistency--not watery at all--and the scallops were perfectly tender. The flavors were fresh, rich, and well-balanced. I chose the Frutti di Mare Risotto, featuring sautéed mussels, clams, jumbo shrimp, crab meat, broccoli rabe, and cherry tomatoes. This dish exceeded my expectations. Every piece of seafood was tender and flavorful. I did encounter a little sand in a couple of the mussels, which can occasionally happen with shellfish, but it certainly wasn't enough to take away from an otherwise fantastic meal. To finish the evening, the staff brought out a celebratory chocolate birthday cake for Cindy. It was incredibly moist with a delicious cream cheese filling--the perfect ending to a memorable birthday dinner. One final tip: if you decide to take a walk around the grounds after dinner, keep an eye out... you might find someone taking a nap outside. Overall, Riverwinds delivered excellent food, outstanding service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Between the attentive staff, delicious seafood, and scenic river views, we'll definitely be back.

Actually, worse than that, screw these people. That's how pissed they made me. My rib eye wasn't even rendered properly with lots of connective tissue and thick hard fat. My kid's salad was drenched in dressing he didn't like despite us ordering it on the side. The $25 shrimp cocktail was literally 4 unseasoned shrimp. The $20 calamari app was half fried pepper rings. Everything was double what it should have cost. Are these morons serious with their prices? I can't believe this horrible place is still in business. It's insulting.
