I had to wait for my train coming off a flight that was delayed for hours on the tarmac without any food and was VERY hungry and since it was after 9 PM, this was one of the only places still open. I originally planned to grab a small sandwich until I saw it was $16 for two pieces of bread and a little meat with nothing else! Airport prices are seriously getting out of hand. I changed my mind and ordered the Cobb salad instead. It was presented nicely and the ingredients were fresh. They were out of eggs, so they substituted avocado, which I appreciated. Ordering is done through a self service kiosk, but the gentleman who helped me was very helpful and pleasant. Overall, the salad was good, especially considering how late it was. My biggest complaint is simply the airport pricing Travelers shouldn't have to pay these crazy prices just because we're stuck inside an airport and don't have many other choices. read more

Constant questions and suggestions from the employee while I tried to make a to-go order nearly caused me to dine-in and miss my flight. She was so insistent, and made so many demands and asked so many questions I stopped ordering, sat down with the menu and checked my flight time again. Still not sure why she asked me repeatedly if I like coffee when there's no coffee. As I write this, they're trying to give away my sandwich, and the same woman who watched me type my order is hollering my name and looking through me like someone else just ordered the to-go. I love the way this terminal at the Philly airport has food set up. You can eat directly at your gate which is so convenient. They also had a walk up to go area with a small store but we decided to eat at the bar. You order through a QR code. The drinks were well made and the food was very fresh. Very impressed. read more

Had a layover on our flight from Buffalo in Philly. We tried the chicken cheesesteak because they are one of our favorites back home! The cheesesteaks here don't come with steak sauce though to our surprise. It's just chicken, caramelized onions and cheese. The bread was not like a traditional hoagie roll either. The service was nice though. Cute little restaurant in the airport and the waitresses are all so friendly and attentive. It has a bar connected too! LOVE Grille is situated in Terminal B alongside American Airlines gates. It is a nod to the local Philly scene combined with the essence of an open air airport restaurant. We swung by on a layover, so we wanted more of a snack than meal, so we went with the cheesesteak fries. They were perfect to share. Well cooked and seasoned fries topped with equally well cooked cheesesteak, cheese and onions (we removed the peppers). This along with a few waters was a good "snack" between flights. This space is open air and features several tables and a bar. We grabbed a table and the experience was decent from entry to exit. The kept things moving, which is nice for an airport outlet. The chairs being bolted down and the need to use the Ipad are slight annoyances, but they did not detract too much. We are standard sized folks, so we had no issues with the chairs immobility, but I can imagine it being a bigger issue for others. Overall, standard airport outlet eatery. Nothing super special, but nothing terrible. If I had time and a need to be in this terminal, I wouldn't hesitate to swing by again. read more

This restaurant is large with charging points at every seat. They have takeout and eat in options. Be aware, the chairs are bolted down so if you are larger in size (I'm 5'9" and 187lbs) it is slightly harder to get in and out of the chairs (it was annoying to me and I had to contort a bit but my husband who is my hight but has 60ish lbs on me struggled a good bit more and was frustrated). The seating is closer together and doesn't leave much room for luggage. To order and pay, there is a QR code at your seat that you scan. Using this system was slightly confusing and did cause some anxiety. I did like that after placing your order and paying the system keeps a tab open for you automatically for 1 hour so that you can add to your ticket without starting over. To drink, my husband did a glass of OJ and I did a cranberry mimosa. The OJ was fresh and refreshing (pulp free). My mimosa was made of decently quality cranberry juice and champagne. It was poured in the perfect proportions for brunch. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette and I built my own (bacon, spinach, Gruyère cheese). Both omelettes were overflowing with fillings but didn't have any extra seasonings. The eggs were cooked beautifully. Both dishes came with potatoes. These were a let down as they were beautifully golden brown yet were greasy and not even close to being crispy. For airport food this is pretty good. I will definitely be trying them again on my next trip. read more

Everything in the airport with closing down and even though the grill had been closed, the manager on duty was extraordinarily kind and helped us get some food. Fairly standard airport food that's more reasonably priced than some other options. They have 2 lines for to go or for dine in, so you have options depending on how much time you have before your flight departs. The seating area has plentiful charging ports to keep your devices juiced up and ready. There is also a small convenience store like section where you can grab other snacks and miscellaneous items for your flight. Overall not the best place, but for airport standards pretty decent and can't go wrong stopping here. read more

While I was figuring out how to order and pay (which took me approximately 10 minutes) the bartender asked me what I wanted. I told her bloody marry with little spice (forgetting i was adding an extra shot for $7.50). She asked me for brand of vodka. Drink was good, however, when I explained i had ordered online a double and she had MADE my drink WHILE I WAS ORDERING IT. I asked for another since I paid $31 for a double. Bartender lied and said "you told me double, right?". I said no I didn't and she walked away. She blatently lied and VERY POOR customer service. The food was okay, not super good or super bad. I liked the ambience and the music. The waiter was friendly but presented us early on with an IPad with an amount and asked if that was alright. I thought that was odd. No option to choose how much the tip was going to be, and we had not even had our food yet. We later added up what our dishes costed and it turned out that the tip was probably at least 25%. I felt scammed and this is why we were unhappy and why I cannot give a higher rating. The air conditioning was nice a cool & and the restaurant was clean. The service was ok because you order everything on the QR ... I'm not a fan of that but I'm also an extrovert. The cheese steak was awesome! My husband got the sandwich and I went down the road for Gino's. We compared and contrasted both and this place won! Best thing about this restaurant is its name. When in Philly order cheese steaks. I went to Penn and often when to a corner store for a cheese steak. I loved them. Well I don't love the Love Grille. We tried to order cheese steaks. The server came back three times to be sure he got the order right. The shift super came by asking about our order. After waiting almost 15 min we saw what turned out to be our cheese steaks on the grill. Got them five min later. The cheese steaks were ok; not really good; not really bad. Some flavor but not a lot. Fries were good. No prices on the online menu or menu board in the store. I should have known better. Value of the meal low. Unfortunately at least on concourse B, restaurants have taken over the waiting aread at gates. High tables, high chairs bolted to the floor and just a few of the traditional black chairs. read more

LOVE Grille was one of the few restaurants that caught my eye while headed to my gate; it is conveniently located in Terminal B. I was deeply interested once I saw options, the veggie burger, and cauliflower cheesesteak on the menu. However, it was not until I was in the process of placing my order that I took a liking to the broccoli grilled cheese & tomato sandwich which was what I ordered. I have to say that I was disgusted with the cleanliness of the ordering screens, the floor, and the tables! So disgusted that I literally utilized a napkin just to order from the touch screen because it was filthy. It nearly made me reconsider ordering at LOVE Grille, but with hopes of receiving good food I went on with ordering. My food came to me in a very timely manner. After cleaning the screen, as well as the table I was somewhat at ease. The French fries were good! Fresh, and seasoned well! However, the broccoli grilled cheese & tomato sandwich was not all that great. The bread was burnt! When I took notice of it my face froze, then I proceeded to just remove the broccoli, tomatoes, sriracha, cheddar, and provolone cheese. The price we travelers pay to get good food! It is sad that the prices in airports are horrendous, on top of the food being mediocre at best. And I should not have to clean the eating area before even considering ordering at a restaurant. In places like this, there should be someone at least cleaning the areas because it will easily turn customers away. I asked if they have scrapple and they confirmed it. But because the computer doesn't have it, you can't order it as a side orders. WTF? How about charging me for bacon and give us scrapple??? I just went with the standard fillings and it tastes great. It's all the usual suspects wrapped up in a perfectly cooked omelette rather than a hoagie roll. It comes with a side of home fries that are also cooked to crispy perfection. The meal definitely hit the spot for me satisfying my cheesesteak urge without all the carbs from bread. Buyer beware! This place automatically adds a 20% tip at check out regardless of party size (that you don't have an option to modify), and then defaults to an incremental 15% tip that you also have to jump through hoops on the app to remove. I was a party of one when I ate here, and inadvertently tipped 40% on my bill due to this deceptive practice. I'm all for tipping, but if you are forcing a 20% tip, you should simply increase the pricing of your food and compensate your employees accordingly. Forcing a mandatory tip (again, for a party of one trying to grab a quick breakfast while passing through the airport) should be illegal - it's a deceptive business practice, and I will go out of my way to not eat at this chain again. read more
