I won't bother with the things I liked after my card was used for fraudulent online purchases by someone at this location and I believe it was the male bartender...who I just happened to take photos of. I used cash and credit card everywhere accept here where I used my debit card with the male bartender. My friends used their cards with the female bartenders that arrived later and had no issues/fraudulent transactions. I don't know how it happened as I still had my ATM card, but as I headed home that evening I got a fraud alert showing 7 transactions just under 400 made at an online thrift store. They attempted an 8th purchase which was declined by my bank and the only reason I was notified. The place wasn't packed (Maybe 6 other ppl outside my group) and no one else was close enough to scan or get my card information from me other than the male bartender. My bank told me after investigating it was initiated from a Napa IP address and no, I don't live in Napa and of course i didn't make these purchases. I'm filling out a police report as well in hopes this won't happen to anyone else and to ensure that there are consequences for the person that did this. I Googled "good drinks near me" like a responsible adult, and BOOM, this place appeared like a gift from the cocktail gods. Two minutes away? On foot? I practically floated there. I told myself I'd stroll and enjoy the scenery. I did. I was very sophisticated about it. When I arrived, I found out there's a whole bar hiding inside Oxbow Market. A bar. Inside a market. Genius. I walked in and immediately forgot why I was confused because it was full-on foodie heaven, and the bar reached out with invisible hands and pulled me straight to it. I had no choice. It was gravity. That's when I met Lauren. Lauren was behind the bar, doing her thing, radiating good energy, and I said to myself, "I must sit here and be her problem for the next hour." She was so warm and welcoming that I felt personally invited. I, a stranger. She smiled the whole time, which either means she genuinely loved the conversation or she is an incredible professional. Either way, 10/10. Now, I am notoriously indecisive. I could spend 45 minutes choosing between two identical options. Lauren, a saint, walked me through the entire menu without a single eye roll (that I could see). I finally landed on the boozy strawberry slushy with a prosecco float. Could I have done without the bubbles? Probably. Did I finish every last drop anyway? Absolutely. We talked and laughed like two old friends who had just met, which is my favorite kind of friendship. Lauren also helped me figure out where to eat lunch and dinner once I told her I only eat seafood , and she delivered. The woman is a resource. If you're in Napa, come here. It's adorable. The staff will make you feel like a regular on your first visit, and yes, the prices are Napa prices, meaning everything costs what it costs because Napa has decided it is fancy, and we have all agreed to go along with it. My wife wanted to try caviar, so we actually gave it a spin here for our 1st time. I'd always been nervous about what the taste of caviar would be like. Glad I got to try it out at least once. It basically was a bit crunchy & a bit salty, other than that nothing of note for me at least. I get the price to an extent as it's not day to obtain, but man, it's expensive for what you get, not just here but any place you buy it. Probably a one time thing for me. The other item we got was one of their paninis & salads to share, and some waters. They've basically got a bar top, and most people seem to order their frozen machine drinks. I believe you can pair the frozen flavor with the wine, champagne, etc with it. Nice little spot inside Oxbow to get a quick bite and drink when in town.

It was cool entertainment, even if the sound quality wasn't perfect. For drinks, we ordered a Whiskey Sour and Strawberry Coast at the bar, and the staff said they'd bring it out to our seats. The wait times were a bit long for what I expected with the bar being fairly empty earlier in the evening. But the workers were friendly. The Strawberry Coast was delicious, though a tad too sweet for my taste. Overall, this is a cool spot especially if they have a show going on, no fee, just good times... and a parking lot too.

We had no interest in listening to the music so when I asked a guy at the front if we could just go to the bar and have a drink, he said "sure". So we didn't have to pay the cover which was nice. We walked over to the bar and sat down, (we were the only ones in the bar). The bartender Alexander greeted us and gave us a couple of menus. The drinks listed seemed very good but I was looking to go off menu. First Alexander made me a Tequila drink that was very good. The wife ordered the Flamenco, another Tequila drink that has Passionfruit syrup and Raspberry Shrub. This was very good as well. For my next drink Alexander asked me if I liked Scotch. I told him that I didn't really drink Scotch but he had a drink in mind that he thought I would like. I don't know what it was. It was a tad spirit forward but it was good as well. Fot my next drink I wasn't sure if I wanted to go with Gin or Rum but Alexander recommended their Mai Tai. Looking at the ingredients on the menu this is not your mother's Mai Tai. No Coconut, no Orange or Pineapple Juice. Other than Orgeat it looks like their version is pretty much all Rum. While making the drink Alexander torched a cinammon stick and dropped some Lime peel curls over the glass. It was quite the presentation. Sadly, the drink was just a bit too strong for me. It just seemed like drinking a big glass of Rum. After noticing that I was not thrilled with the Mai Tai Alexander said he would happily make me something else. So I asked him for an Industry Sour and he said he could make on with Gin. He brought me the drink and whatever Amaro he used for the drink was verey potent. Very strong herbal components and a big hint of minty flavor. It was a bit overpowering but I respected the drink. I asked Alexander if he could make it a touch sweeter and he added some more simple syrup and that improved the drink quite a bit. A few regulars came in while we were there and asked for Espresso Martini's. I've had a few Espresso Martini's in my time and I even make my own version at home with Vanilla Vodka, homemade Kahlua and Luxardo Espresso Liquer. But the ones that Alexander made had to be the most elaborate I've ever seen. I saw him put drops of something into the shaker tins and do some dry shaking before making the drinks. He also torched cinammon sticks and laid them across the top of the glasses. I've never seen an Espresso Martini made this way. Made me want to try one. Overall the experience at the Hollywood Room was very good. Alexander is a great bartender that certainly knows his craft. He was very open to trying things and surprising me with drinks that I hadn't had before, which I really like. I would say that he's not super outgoing though. Maybe he's just a reserved, quiet guy.
