I purchased a Kia Telluride on 04/13/26. I worked with Austin who is the sales manager, Dylan helped with the paperwork, & Kenny the finance manager was supposed to help resolve my issue. Long story short, this dealership is flaky, shady & I would not do business with them again. I had to get a tire replaced the day after purchasing & pay for a Kia Dealership to give me peace of mind that my vehicle is safe to drive because of the faulty work this dealership did. Also, I was told I could get reimbursed for the inspection done at Kia & then I received no response from Fontana Motors. If you want the full story, keep reading. After test driving the vehicle, before purchasing, I noticed it needed an alignment done because it was pulling to the left, the leather seats were stained (the previous owner probably had children) & inside the car in general was dirty & dusty (which is odd they didn't detail the car before posting it for sale) & there was a little piece missing to hold up the glove box. Austin agreed to work on all those issues & I just needed to take the vehicle back another day. I knew I wanted the car, I thought they were pretty simple issues so I didn't mind taking it back. When completing the paperwork with Dylan, the Carfax showed that there was a minor accident to the back left side of the vehicle but that the accident didn't cause the airbags to deploy so I purchased the vehicle thinking it was repaired to factory specs & an alignment & car detailing would be a simple fix. After purchasing the car & taking it home, I realized front, left tire was different than the rest & it was bald, so I went ahead & had the tire replaced. About 4 days after purchasing the car, I called Austin about scheduling an alignment & detailing appointment. I called twice & he did not answer either time then he responded via text to tell me he was busy with three other customers and to give him a second, but I did not receive a response after that. I texted Austin to tell him to call me & I believe I called & left him a voicemail also. Austin eventually got back to me via text to bring in the vehicle on Monday morning. On 4/20/25 my partner took my car back in for alignment. It was discovered that vehicle needed lower control arm replaced so he was told they were going to order the part & get back to us when the part was in so I could take my car back. 10 days go by so I text Austin about dropping off my car to replace the lower control arm. No response. I called & left a voicemail. About another 4 days go by & I hadn't heard from Austin so I contact him to ask if I could drop off the vehicle for service. He answered this time and said to bring the vehicle in- this was on a Monday. My vehicle was taken in to replace the lower control arm, replace the missing part for the glove box, and upholstery detail the leather seats. On Thursday afternoon I call Austin to ask if my vehicle was ready for pick up no response but I believe I left a voicemail. I call the dealership directly to ask if my vehicle was ready for pick up- this was around 8pm. Madyson answered the phone and said she would check with the mechanics and give me a call back. No call back. The next morning I call the dealership again to ask if my vehicle was ready for pick up. George answered the phone and said he would check and give me a call back. No call back. On Friday evening, my vehicle is finally ready for pick up & I spoke with (Adrian, Adele/Odell 1 person gave me 2 names). He had me test drive the car around the dealership parking lot & he asked how the vehicle felt since the mechanics worked on the lower control arm. I told him it felt fine but I wouldn't really know until I actually drove the car so he said to text him if I was having any issues, however, he didn't give me his contact information. I asked for a copy of the receipt for the lower control arm part & a copy of the work order of the mechanics who worked on my vehicle. I was told that I would not be able to receive a receipt because the dealership purchases parts wholesale and that any receipt they could provide me would not look like a receipt from "AutoZone" (his words exactly). I told him that any receipt they could provide would be sufficient. Adrian said he would ask the mechanics manager for the work order and see what document they could send to me. I asked Adrian, how would they be able to purchase a lower control arm wholesale? If this part is specific to my vehicle and I was told the part would be specially ordered. He said he would contact the mechanics manager to see what document they could send me. Later this evening, I noticed rattling when driving my vehicle. I mentioned it to my partner & over the weekend, he also noticed the rattling & the car was still pulling to the left. So I don't believe they did an alignment (which was the original issue) after replacing the control arm. read more

I still have not received any response. To be clear, this is not just "feedback" anymore. I am asking for a specific resolution regarding the $3,000 in add-ons that were hidden/added into my financed amount, represented to me as compulsory when I questioned them, and then later treated as "uncancellable." I contacted the add-on companies directly, and they directed me back to the dealership. I also requested signed contracts and proof of installation/activation, but Fontana Motors Direct has not responded. It is disappointing that they are willing to respond publicly on Yelp, but not respond to the actual emails where the issue can be resolved. If I could go lower for a rating, I would. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. To start, I went in with my mom with the intention of both of us leaving with a car. You'd think the employees weren't getting commission the way that Dylan was unbearably rude as soon as he was put to help. While Isaiah was super kind and helpful, Dylan comes up and starts questioning me about the car I chose without even reading or knowing the specs on what I chose. Along with that, as soon as my mom was upset enough with them to walk out, suddenly Dylan disappeared without any word and left me waiting for my paperwork (that he never ended up handing me) for 45 minutes and avoided eye contact the whole time he was walking around and talking to other customers. As if that wasn't enough, I left my car with them for two weeks allegedly to get detailed and repaired. When it came time where I was concerned because I didn't have paperwork, hadn't been contacted, and was getting worried that they just took my deposit and ran, every one who answered the phone hung up on me or pretended to transfer me. When it FINALLY came time for me to get my car, the only things repaired was the torn wheel cover and windshield. It was NOT detailed like they promised, there was gum stuck to the side of the drivers side carpet, the headlights were still dingy yellow (despite Dylan guaranteeing it would be handled), there was trash under the seats, stains not addressed, an old air filter so dirty that the car stunk horribly. I don't even know if they did change the break pads like Dylan guaranteed. Either way, the car shakes despite both of us signing a "we're not selling you a lemon" agreement. This is my first car and I am unbelievably disappointed with this whole ordeal. My mom suggested I reach out to the BBB to get them investigated for their poor business practices and lying about the services they promised were going to do to the car. My 32k car ended up costing 43k! Added warranties, signature discrepancies, undisclosed frame damage... I've been able to connect with other Yelpers who have also become victims to this "dealership". Our problems started with the very first deal handled by Brandon. We later discovered the vehicle we were initially sold had frame damage that was never disclosed to us before purchase. Had that been disclosed upfront, we would have never agreed to move forward with the vehicle. Brandon was also the employee who withheld all of our paperwork when we left the dealership. He told us he was taking everything to the car while changing the plates, but once we got home, we realized we had not been given copies of any signed documents. At the time we thought it was an oversight. Looking back now, it feels very intentional. Thankfully, when we confronted the dealership, we were told the first sale had not yet been funded, so they were able to unwind the deal. We then looked at different vehicle options there instead. What we did not realize at the time was that many of the same add-ons from the first contract had simply been transferred into the second deal. Fast forward months later while attempting to refinance the vehicle, a dealer friend of ours was shocked at how much we still owed. That immediately prompted us to sit down and thoroughly review our paperwork line by line. That is when everything started unraveling. We discovered approximately $8,350 in warranties and add-ons included in our financing contract that we never knowingly agreed to purchase. Throughout the sales process, these products were presented to us as complimentary perks from the dealership. Statements like "this deal comes with X, Y, and Z" were repeatedly used, giving the impression these were included benefits -- not financed products being added into our loan balance. When I started calling the dealership for answers, I spoke with Fernando, who repeatedly referred back to the first deal and openly acknowledged that the same products from the first contract had been carried into the second one. The signatures on the warranty forms are NOT my husband's signatures. When I questioned this, I was told my husband supposedly signed the documents electronically through email. That explanation immediately fell apart because: My husband never signed anything electronically through email. The email address listed on the paperwork is incorrect, meaning he would not have even received the documents they claimed he signed. So how exactly were these forms signed? I repeatedly asked to speak with the General Manager and eventually ended up speaking with Jose (Jose Gonzalez, Sales Manager), who instead of addressing the concerns, asked me: "Why all of a sudden are you pursuing this issue after 5 months?" My response was simple: Because we only discovered these discrepancies after attempting to refinance and realizing something was seriously wrong with the numbers. We eventually went to the dealership in person to confront Omar G (General Manager), and the experience was unbelievably disrespectful. We were laughed at during the conversation while Omar repeatedly insisted: "Nothing we do is illegal." I asked him whether he was aware there are multiple Yelp reviews describing situations almost identical to ours involving undisclosed add-ons and warranty issues. He dismissed them and claimed they were probably made up. I asked for copies of the first deal, and he claimed they were "destroyed" when the deal was cancelled. LIES!!! If that were true, then Jose wouldn't have been able to look at them 2 days prior!!! No customer should: Discover undisclosed frame damage after purchase Leave a dealership without copies of signed paperwork Find thousands of dollars in warranties added without clear consent Question signatures on financing documents Be ignored, laughed at, or dismissed when asking legitimate questions about their contract Please protect yourself: Read every line. I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Fontana Motors. Before visiting, I made an appointment and provided the stock numbers for two vehicles I was interested in. I also confirmed the price of $23,499 for one of the cars and even wrote it down in my notes. They texted me listings for both vehicles to confirm everything ahead of time. I drove over an hour to make this appointment, specifically to avoid any issues. When I arrived, I was told one car was ready, but they couldn't locate the other and thought it might be on a different lot despite me scheduling in advance. The first car I saw had not been detailed and was quite dirty inside. I test drove it and was still considering it. When we returned, they said they had found the second car, but it was also very dirty inside and out. I didn't even test drive it because the vehicle history report showed structural damage and deployed airbags. The first car also had moderate damage reported on Carfax. After looking at a few other cars, I decided to try negotiating on the first one. That's when things got worse. The salesperson told me the price was $25,999. I pushed back and said the agreed and advertised price was $23,499. He told me to check the text they sent and sure enough, the listing had been updated to the higher price. I then showed them a saved screenshot from AutoTrader clearly showing the $23,499 price and asked to negotiate from that number. They refused, saying they couldn't honor or negotiate from that price. Between the disorganization, poorly prepared vehicles, questionable vehicle histories, and the pricing inconsistency, I left feeling like this dealership is not trustworthy. My experience here was very bad. I don't write this to be vindictive but so that others don't experience what I did. And before I start, disregard any response to this post offering assistance. All negative responses get this message, this it's typically too late, as it is for me. I've bought and sold a lot of cars over the years and this was the worst, most unprofessional experience I've ever had. For starters, the car I wanted, upon my inspecting it, had quite a few aesthetic and mechanical items that needed fixing. It appeared the car had not been inspected by the dealership before offering it for sale. The sales guy said they would fix them all for me. Later, as we began to address the price, the sales manager stepped in and began pushing varioius warranties I did not need. As I held firm and declined each, he told me they would not make the fixes because they weren't making any money off the car now (due to my declining the "optional" warranties), and would not deliver it to my home. So they had backpedaled on the fixes and delivery they had agreed to simply because the sales manager now believed they weren't making enough money off the car, which is unprofessional to do, and even more unprofessional to say to the customer. It had already been several hours at the dealership, I was far from home, and wanted to wrap it up, so I agreed to follow through on the purchase. Upon driving the car home, I noticed the breaks chattering when I slowed driving fast, in addion to the alignment off. After I got home, I noticed both rear tires were losing air. I took the car to the manufacturer dealership for an inspection. They informed me the two rear tires had punctures, the front tires needed to be replaced, the brake rotors needed replacement, the alignment needed fixing, and then several other less significant issues need addressing. I immediately called the dealership, told them about my experience purchasing the car, and all the fixes the car needed. Because I live far from the dealership, I asked them to give me a credit and I'll get it fixed on my end. The original sales guy passed me to someone else, after telling me he had left some sort of tracking device in the car and asking me to return it (I'd owed some of the sales balance the next day, which I wired, but remains weird they putting a tracking device in the car). I was passed from person to person for about a week. Eventually, the dealership told me they would not credit me for the fixes but if I brought the car back they would fix most of it. An incredible inconvenience to me, but instead of getting it fixed myself for another $2000 (on top of the sale price), I agreed to bring it back in. At that point, I spent about 3 weeks getting bounced from person to person just trying to find out when the necessary parts were in so I don't drive all the way out and have to leave the car for who knows how long, and then drive back again to pick it up after. As of today, 1 month since I bought the car, I have not heard back from them. For no other reason than I wanted to get out of business with them as fast as I could, I decided eat the additional $2000 and have it fixed myself. I've since read a lot of reviews about their unprofessionalism and lack of response. I highly recommend stearing clear. read more

The car had some major problems and looked like they didn't care for it. Overtime the car started going bad and having to pay the payments plus repairments. I have to start by saying our salesman, Caleb, was amazing. Seriously the best cars salesman I have ever dealt with - personable, knowledgeable but not pushy and a great communicator. I can't compliment him enough! Our issue started once we met with the finance manager. We did not need financing and were highly motivated to go forward with 100% cash payment. This finance manager had incredibly poor communication, could not answer simple questions, was rude and quite frankly came off as a liar. Their website claims that you can purchase GPS tracking and some "windshield" assurance. I did not want these extras, and they absolutely refused to remove it from the invoice but literally could not explain why it stayed. This resulted in anywhere from an extra $2000-$3500! (Interesting how that price kept changing too ...) When we attempted to negotiate the rate, his only option was to "remove the jack and the bumper" OFF THE CAR I WAS TRYING TO BUY. You have be out of your mind! I have never had a jaw dropping moment due to the sheer stupidity of what came out of that man's mouth. They fought over who was taking a deal right in front of customers. I had a down payment of $17,000 and they hassled me on a used car made me pull bank statements, paystubs etc to drag things along 6 hours later no deal. This is an unprofessional car dealership. They scheduled me with their tire shop to have them replaced, but when I showed up for the appointment, the tire shop had no record of me, didn't know anything about the situation, and didn't even have my tire size available. It was a complete waste of my time and showed a serious lack of communication and organization. To resolve the issue myself, I purchased new tires and the dealership agreed to partially reimburse me. It has now been over three weeks of constant follow-up, and I still have not received the reimbursement they promised. In addition, when we first looked at the vehicle, we noticed that some body panels were a different shade of color. When questioned, we were told and even "guaranteed" that the vehicle had not been resprayed. However, after getting the vehicle home and inspecting it more closely, we found clear signs of repainting, including overspray in the door jambs and torn seals around the doors. They provided a due bill to correct the paint mismatch, but based on my experience so far, I have very little confidence that this will be handled properly, especially if it involves one of their partner shops. While we were at the dealership, we also noticed several other vehicles on the lot with very obvious paint imperfections, and these were not inexpensive cars. Based on what I saw and experienced, I would strongly suggest that anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here inspect it very closely and not rely solely on verbal assurances. Overall, this experience has been exhausting. Buying a vehicle is a major investment, and customers should be able to trust the condition of the vehicle and the dealership's follow-through.
