Matthew and the Service Team went above and beyond when no one else would…read more I rescued a 10 week old kitten that was wandering on the 215, and somehow this thing found its way into the electronics behind the steering column dashboard‍ I called a mechanic up the street from me and they refused to help, then a crash auto body shop but they outright declined to help. I called Rock Honda and explained the situation and without hesitation, Matthew told me they'd help. The Service Team was able to locate and rescue the kitten. They gave it water and had placed into a cat cage I brought from home. My experience at Rock Honda, from purchasing two vehicles to this animal rescue has certainly earned them continued patronage from me. Matthew and the other individuals that helped should be recognized for this!

1 Star -- Extremely Disappointing Customer Service…read more I received an oil-change coupon from Rock Honda on 7/27/26 that expired just four days later on 7/31/26. I attempted to schedule an appointment, but there were no appointments available until 8/3/26. So when my appointment finally came around today, I was told the coupon could not be honored because it was expired. Seriously? You send a customer a coupon on 7/27, give them until 7/31 to use it, and then have no appointment availability before it expires -- yet somehow the customer is expected to take the loss? I would have expected Rock Honda to recognize the situation and simply honor the coupon. Instead, there was no willingness to work with me, so I canceled my appointment. Thank you, Rock Honda, for the "convenience" of wasting my time. ‍ I understand that coupons have expiration dates, but customer service should include some common sense and flexibility when the dealership's own appointment availability prevents the customer from using the offer. After this experience, I'll seriously reconsider where I take my vehicle for future service. A simple oil change shouldn't be this difficult.

I had a really great experience with Fontana Hyundai. Everyone I worked with was friendly,…read morestraightforward, and easy to deal with throughout the entire process. What impressed me most was how they handled things when a mistake was made. Instead of making excuses or making the situation difficult, they took responsibility and worked with me to correct it. That kind of customer service goes a long way and is unfortunately not something you always find at a car dealership. It's now a company acts when everything is going great, it's how they act when something goes wrong and they handled it better than I imagined. The entire experience left me feeling like they genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with my purchase. I would absolutely recommend Fontana Hyundai and would be happy to buy from them.

Be very careful shopping here…read more First, when we located the car that was advertised for sale online, the sales guy (Daniel?) said that car wasn't the same one. BUT I checked the VINs, which matched, and he backtracked saying he was new and didn't know. Second, the prices advertised online are not what you will actually pay. The dealership adds thousands in "dealer accessories" that were already installed (original sticker in glove box!) leaving you no real choice but to pay for them. This inflated our out-the-door pricing dramatically. Example: 2025 Hyundai Elantra SEL Sport (Intense Blue) * Internet listed price: $17,938 * Out-the-door: $24,350 * Original sticker listed the features now being "added on" by the dealer That's a dramatic increase and feels like classic bait-and-switch tactics. McKinley Grant was aggressive and apparently did not want to sell a single car to us that day. (We later bought two cars at Norm Reeves Hyundai in Cerritos!) On top of that, this nearly new vehicle had a faulty seatbelt--a serious safety issue and probably illegal to sell. A car with known defects should not even be offered for sale until fixed which was not offered. This experience felt dishonest and unsafe. Further to that, one of the staff started photographing the car and discussed within earshot of everyone that the car was sold over the phone. Very deceptive. I would strongly advise shopping elsewhere. Should've checked Yelp beforehand as this seems to be a pattern. By contrast, I visited Norm Reeves Hyundai in Cerritos. Check my review. Not only did they sell me the car listed on the internet for the actual price, I decided to buy a second car in the same transaction.

Absolutely terrible experience. We drove out to this dealership for a 2014 Ford F-150 Lariat listed…read moreat $13,995. My boyfriend had already test-driven the truck earlier that morning and was under the impression that we could purchase it for around $15,500 out the door, including taxes and reasonable fees. Before going, I looked up the dealership and saw its 2.4 star Yelp rating with over 1,300 reviews. Many of the one star reviews described the exact same experience we ended up having. Unexpected markups, mandatory add-ons, and misleading pricing. I wiiiish he would've listened when I tried telling him this. When we arrived, we were left standing outside in the heat for over 10 minutes waiting for the truck, only to be told that it had supposedly been taken for a test drive. We were then told it would be another 10-20 minutes. At that point, I asked that we simply discuss the numbers. The truck was advertised at $13,995, and we came prepared to pay the listed price plus taxes and reasonable processing fees. Once we made it clear that we were not interested in unnecessary add-ons, the price suddenly jumped to around $20,000. For a USED 2014 truck with approximately 150,000 miles, they were trying to justify thousands of dollars in additional charges for things like door/rubber protection and other add-ons that we never asked for and are apparently non-negotiable to begin with. Almost like that should've been added in the original pricing! When we questioned the massive price difference, the salesman repeatedly avoided giving a straight answer and eventually hit us with, "Well, we have to make money somehow." Yes, dealerships need to make money, but that doesn't justify advertising a vehicle for $13,995 and then attempting to add roughly $5,000 in undisclosed charges once the customer is sitting in front of you. The salesman also tried to explain that taxes and pricing "vary by city," as if that somehow justified the enormous difference between the advertised price and the final quote. In Fontana you can expect to pay 1,300 for the exact vehicle mentioned (not $5,000). I have no idea why he thought it would be worth trying to argue to begin with. Classic bait-and-switch sales tactic. If the truck was actually $20,000 after mandatory dealer additions, then advertise it for $20,000 instead of $13,995. We could have saved ourselves the time if he had simply listened to all those one-star reviews describing the same exact behavior I had showed him IN THE FIRST PLACE. Save yourself the time. Ask for the out the door price BEFORE making the drive, and get every fee and add-on in writing.
