However, I was able to find parking quickly and enter to a smiling and uplifting welcome into the store; plants outfitted with sunglasses. Pretty warming and mode lifting to enhance the shopping experience. The patronage was pretty busy with shoppers; yet they were calm and respectful of space and others. I love the flower assortment at Trader Joe's and as always its my first pit stop. I was able to nab some cool charm flower bouquets. Their flower selection today was skimpy. The blueberries were a bit on the small side for "jumbo" label and price. I grabbed a few fruit selections and meat and without delay checked out and into my car with easy and stress-free. A nice rainy Memorial Day brought shopping ease and enjoyment.

They straight used their bare hands to reach in and grab pastries. I find this disgusting and unsanitary. No one wants to eat your germs. I made a suggestion to an employee, but he said people are going to do what they going to do. So as a warning I would avoid get pastries unless you like your baked goods covered in germs. Other than that I was happy to see my pizza restocked and a variety of frozen fruit.

This Lidl has a large free parking lot and offers both small and large carts. And you don't need to scramble for a quarter to release the cart-- these are free floaters. Another reason we like to come to the Lidl on Bel Air Road in Nottingham is to look at and sometimes buy flowers and plants-- they really have a nicer selection of flowers and plants for a grocery store. And perhaps the best part of Lidl is their fresh bakery. We have to buy pretzel rolls and jelly-filled doughnuts aka Berliners. The baked goods are always so fresh at this Lidl. What a delightful surprise to find that at the Deli counter, they had a selection of over 7 different entrees and 6 different sides - all freshly prepared and looking delicious. My husband decided on 2 generous-size portions of Flank Steak accompanied by mashed potatoes and an arancini. In addition to the Bistro Meals, they also offer a selection of prepared Sushi at $5.00. I decided on the California Rolls, which was 10 rolls with fresh ginger and wasabi. The Bistro Meals are quick and easy. You just take them home and heat them up - no fuss, no muss. With this being Memorial Day weekend, but a nasty rainy day, it was very quiet and calming shopping and checking out experience. The selection of parking spaces were abundant as well as the amount of available grocery carts. My only problem with some of the carts is when customers leave trash like circulars, boxes and other items for the next customer to discard. Since Aldi is unconventional in terms of their carts, customers should be responsible and courteous enough to remove trash and other debris before returning the cart and locking it in. The last time I was there, someone actually left apple and pear cores in the cart. The Aldi brand has come along way over the years and keeps getting better and better in my opinion. Though I personally only purchase the fruit and vegetables, organic brands and some pantry staples, they have a variety of everything for pretty exceptional prices. I have rarely had a problem with any of my purchases, which is one of the reasons why Aldi is one of my weekly stops. In any instance where there was a problem, the issue was resolved without a problem. The store is clean and pretty well-stocked. Like I said earlier, I discovered that the best time to visit is when they first open because everything is so abundant with a neat presentation. The seasonal items are usually a good buy. Additionally, I like venturing down the miscellaneous aisle where I have discovered some great finds from cleaning products to deeply discontinued items.

The store itself is clean and organized and well maintained. A employee on 9/21 at 2:30pm working hard pushing a cart full of inventory had a smile and greeted customers passing by. Wish I knew her name but 30's dark hair. Miss Josie the cashier was so pleasant and polite. She even went out of her way to double check a price on her own to be sure for me and make sure I knew about my points and explain some of those perks . The price check by way was a quick response not long waiting. The manager came over polite also with a smile. I'd like to hope Weis is taking care of their employees and these are happy employees because it was a pleasant environment. Otherwise they lucked out and hired a group of great people. My experience this evening at the Redner's location in Joppa, MD was extremely disappointing…read more First, I found it inappropriate for management to address an employee in front of a customer. Any corrective conversation should be handled privately and respectfully. When I later expressed my concern regarding this behavior to the Store Director, Vikki Eiswert, I was told to leave the store after stating that I felt her approach toward the employee was rude. Rather than engaging in a professional discussion, she stated she would not argue, removed items from my hands, and proceeded to contact law enforcement. At no point was I aggressive or causing a disturbance; the only issue was that I voiced my concern about her conduct. I will not be shopping at this location again, and I intend to ensure that this experience is brought to the attention of the appropriate parties. No one--whether a manager or a store associate--should be spoken to in a belittling or disrespectful manner. The employee involved was not at fault, and being in a leadership position does not justify speaking to employees in an unprofessional way. While being asked to leave the store is not my primary concern, I will continue to share my experience until it reaches the appropriate level of review.
