This location is always clean and well stocked, so I don't mind dropping in every now and again. This trip I walked in a saw they had new and different types of plants. Which really shocked me lol. You expect this "auto-clipped" coupon to get registered when you ring up your purchases, but it does not get registered, not always. Had this situation so many times. You have to ask a cashier/associate to adjust the price, then another item with supposedly "auto-clipped" coupon in your purchases also does not give the right price - you again have to ask to adjust the price . . . So annoying! Some associates here have totally apathetic look. You explain why the price for this item should be this and not that, and they say something like "this is what the price in the system is". Absolutely provincial!

They get there by low costs by not carrying everything, by only having limited brands, and by having minimal staff in the store. You'll probably not have more than four or five people working, whether it's stocking shelves or staffing registers. A couple of things you need to know before your first ALDI shop... You'll need to bring a quarter for the shopping cart. It's a deposit and you'll get your cart back when you return it. They do not bag your groceries here and bags are not free. As your purchase is rung up, it's just put back into the cart and then you'll be doing your own bagging. You're going to need to either buy their bags (not cheap) or bring your own bags. You will absolutely save money here. It's cheaper than the major supermarket chains and I think it's even cheaper than Walmart. Enjoy! While the store itself is rather clean, I think the problem lies with management and the lack of competency to hire people who know what they are doing and the lack of work ethic to show those people how to do the job and instead opting for sitting them down in front of a computer screen and having them watch "modules" that do a poor job at telling them how to do the job, (I know this because I used to work there for three months). I saw an employee try to show a customer who lacked the brain cells to pay for his stuff, how to work the card machine and the store manager Ben was yelling at her when she was just trying to do her job and it was holding up the line. Keep in mind the store manager didn't even take the time to help his people out even after passing by like four times while this is happening. I've also heard and experienced for myself that the management there doesn't care for people with mental disabilities who want to work there and even go as far as to try to set those mentally disabled people up to get fired by putting them in scenarios that trigger them. Sometimes they even straight up fire those disabled people for no reason and make up excuses so they don't have to give them special treatment, (I have autism and DID and they did this to me and even called me retarded straight to my face saying "We don't need retards causing trouble at our store." which I was extremely confused by and upset by at the same time). Don't shop here, the people here are either stuck up or lack the brain cells to help you or even a mixture of both. (When I say lack the brain cells I mean they are Neurotypical and stupid)

It is a very new establishment with fair prices on many of the items we saw. Others may be questionably priced, but this makes sense in today's economy. The store is very clean and organized. The lighting is good and doesn't feel outdated at all. It isn't a big supermarket, but for the area, it is pretty good. As we were checking out, we asked about the loyalty points program because the owner mentioned it, and we definitely wanted to sign up. However, the information is collected on paper, and you do not receive loyalty points even when signing up and making a purchase at the same time. I asked for the manager, whose name is Miguel, and when I mentioned whether we could save our receipt for getting the points in the future, he stated no, it cannot be done and proceeded to say, "It is what it is," which I found to be a bit rude. He is part of the customer service desk and maybe needs some lessons in customer service; that statement was unprofessional. The young lady was sweet but a bit shy. My elderly mother asked a takeout restaurant if they accepted SNAP benefits; however, they do not yet participate in that program. That's a bit of a letdown. It has the potential to be pretty good as a local supermarket, especially if you are looking for certain Latin-inspired foods. But the manager's rudeness was unexpected.

The R.O.'s restaurant closed down early in January after being in business for over 50 years. Ben was driving so he dropped me off in the front of the store and I went right in. I asked 2 people who worked there where it was and they had no clue what I was talking about. There was a lady customer who overheard me and pointed me to the back of the store where it was located. They had the 32 ounce and 16 ounce sizes and I got the larger size. I'e grown up eating this and living in Fort Mill, the closest was Gastonia. Now that they have gone out of business, I'm not sure how I'm going to replenish my supply. I've only been inside one other Ingles and that was the one in Lake Lure, NC and this was much larger. It was very crowded on a Saturday and lot's of people getting their Starbucks. It was $8.48 which I thought was a fair price.
