Foodshed has many pre-made, take home and heat up meals. They also have a great selection of salads. I particularly like the shaved Brussels sprout salad. It's a great place to stock up on items for the nights you may not want to cook.

    This is where you order.

Food- The food is a mix of Old School Italian and upscale Deli. We tried fresh food they prepared for us, and took home some of their take and bake/heat at home items. Everything was great. They use a pizza crust for the bread for their sandwiches. It's just crispy enough, but has a great chew so thin you can enjoy the sandwich ingredients instead of bread. Service - Typical counter service. Staff was friendly and offered GF suggestions for my wife. It was very slow when we arrived but everyone was busy doing something. Ambiance - It's in a strip center. It's country style decor on the inside is like typical Napa touristy place and it's grab and go if you need it.

    4 slices to share!

This is one of the best pizza places I've been at. I tasted good quality pizza in every bite. The toppings were amazing in all four slices. Everything I tried was 10/10. I recommend getting the sampler 4 slices if you're in a group so you taste the different toppings they offer. Our group got the arugula salad which was pretty darn good, going to try to recreate it! They had pastries and even water right where you enter. They had samplers to try of the pastries and it was delicious. GET THE LEMON BAR OR BROWNIE. They have a fridge section with meals like pizza, salads, beer, wine, to take home also. I will definitely be back when I'm in Napa because this was such an good spot! It is small inside but there's parking which is always a plus.

This is such a cute little spot in the middle of Napa. We came during lunch time and we missed the crowd by a few minutes thankfully! The person who took our order was really sweet and happy to explain the different types of pizzas they offer! We got 4 "slices" to share but really it was 16 pieces since they cut it up in 4's. The food was incredible!!! The pizza and salad was AMAZING! The arugula salad with salami and prosciutto was my favorite!! I usually stay away from salads but this was was so delicious and fresh. The pizzas we got were good too! I asked for some red pepper flakes and they gave me that as well as some minced red peppers which was also amazing!! *they don't have ranch, but it didn't need it!

Wow! I really can't say enough about foodshed take away! I was really impressed with what I thought was going to be just a regular quick service kind of restaurant. But they serve huge slices of pie for a reasonable amount with high-quality ingredients. Not only that, but they have a wide range of delicious baked goods, and for those who are gluten-free, you can find something here too that will make you really happy. FOOD: I tried a few different things here. Had to have the pepperoni pizza, which was delicious! There's really different pepperoni. It's far more like sausage, but the flavor is wonderful. And the slices are huge! Honestly, I thought for a niche place like this I was going to get half of what I received for the same price. It still would've been worth it! Also, tried the potato pizza which was delicious was fresh but not as great cold. Still, I would definitely recommend it if you've never had it. also tried a couple of their big goods which were really great. Had a chocolate chip cookie which had a nice crunch, but still soft in the middle. Also had a shortbread cookie which was different than your traditional walkers shortbread, but it still tasted great. Definitely that homemade flavor. I also love that they have gluten-free options because it makes it so much easier to find some thing for everybody. SERVICE: service was quick, but not as engaging as I thought it would be. It's not that they weren't nice, but just very uncommunicative. Still, they packaged everything great and the portions were wonderful so really, no complaints here. COST: for the price, it's amazing that they're still open! They charge very reasonable prices for high-quality food that taste wonderful. How can you ask for anything more?

    Bacon pizza with lemon aioli

I just tried this place yesterday. Good & friendly service, good food. Got the stone fruit salad and bacon pizza to go. They asked me if I wanted my pizza heated up. It was still warm after a 20 min drive home. They have a regular menu, as well as daily specials. They have a fridge with food you can take and heat up at home, or ready to eat stuff at the counter. I saw a good amount of desserts, and a decent selection of a few pizzas and salads at the counter. They also sell dry goods and a substantial amount of wine and drinks. I noticed a few picnic tables outside the restaurant by the parking lot. The stone fruit salad in a medium size and 1 slice of bacon pizza (with lemon aioli) was yummy. It cost me $19. They have a great mission as well! I will be returning!

About how many people does a whole pizza feed?

Sort of depends on the eaters, but certainly should feed 4 adults no problem.

I loved the open kitchen concept--you get to watch the chefs in action--and even the bathrooms have unique details that make the whole restaurant feel special. Everything we ordered was delicious. The special of the day was shishito peppers with a balsamic glaze, and they were absolutely incredible. Sweet, savory, and perfectly blistered--I could have ordered another plate just for myself. The calamari was another standout. It was light, crispy, and fresh with a delicate batter instead of the heavy coating you often find elsewhere. We also ordered the Pork Chop Milanese, which was a generous portion and easily shareable. It was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and one of my favorite dishes of the meal. The Ravioli al Limone was rich, creamy, and full of bright lemon flavor--definitely a must-order if you love fresh pasta. A few friends at our table have been on an Italian food kick lately and ordered the chicken, and it exceeded everyone's expectations. It was juicy, well-seasoned, and definitely not an afterthought on the menu. And of course, the pizza was a huge hit with the kids. It's always nice when a restaurant can make both the adults and little ones happy. The cocktails were just as impressive as the food--beautifully crafted, refreshing, and every drink we ordered was excellent. We dined with kids, and the staff was incredibly accommodating, seating us in a comfortable corner that made the experience much more relaxing. The service throughout the evening was warm, attentive, and never rushed. Between the inviting atmosphere, fantastic food, great drinks, and thoughtful service, Scala Osteria absolutely earns 5 stars. It's the kind of place you'll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend!

Here's what we ordered for party of 3: Ravioli al limone $34 (5/5) This dish was also recommended by our sommelier earlier today and it was truly delishjous. 6 Creamy raviolis in a light lemon cream sauce, not too rich but really melted in our mouth Lasagna $34 (5/5) I'm a sucker for lasagna, anything gooey, creamy and layered with bolognese sauce. This was done right. Pan seared branzino $38 (4/5) This was good too lightly seared light fish with some veggies on the sides Ciabattina & bagna cauda $6 (5/5) Crispy warm loaf with this anchovy butter. It's liquid anchovy butter so more dunk-able than spreadable. Zeppole $15 (5/5) Can't go wrong with ending the night with warm Italian donuts with chocolate sauce and cream sides. Dessert since it was my birthday they gave me a scoop of a fruity ice-cream with a candle on top. It was a really nice gesture. The service was great and the food was amazing! I would definitely come back to try the other dishes! The 3 of us were stuffed happy!

Located next to the Oxbow I highly recommend taking a quick detour to stop by this brewery. I tried the War of Art IPA, and while I'm a pretty big fan of their beer, this one stood out as a crisp, easy, drinkable IPA that quenches your thirst and cools you off n a warm day. The bartender was extremely helpful and attentive and kept the line moving fast. I order the kale Caesar salad and it was pleasantly delicious. You order yourself from the QR code on the table, so for many this is convenient. The food took forever to arrive, and when it did, nothing tasted good unfortunately. The chicken on the pizza tasted bad, and the wings and fries were average at best. They do have a good beer selection.
