While on the phone, my toddler started to throw a tantrum. One of the ladies asked if she could walk my little one around. Though im usually hesitant with others carrying my child, the nice lady gave me a warm presence and I allowed her to walk my baby. Another young lady also helped entertain my baby, as they had to help customers. Actions like this really restore my faith in humanity. Unfortunately, things did not work out with my insurance (nothing on their part), but I will forever be grateful for what those two young ladies did for me.

Throughout the experience they have been very dodgy and deceitful and when I can get them on the phone it's always a different story. There was a "glitch" in the system, "It's just a busy time", "your lenses were done improperly". It's been total incompetence or deflecting blame. And guess what, still no glasses or any recompense other than we can offer you a "goody" bag when they come in. I would prefer customer service with integrity and ....I don't know...the GLASSES I ordered which was the whole point! So frustrated and dismayed.

It was a short wait to get them fixed. No more adjustments needed after today. As usual, very helpful staff. I'll be back in two years!

When I asked for my PD (pupillary distance), I was told they could not provide it and that wherever I purchase glasses could measure it instead. Because I wasn't provided my PD, it also prevents me from purchasing glasses online--even through the same company. I had specifically mentioned interest in their online selection, so this felt limiting and counterproductive. Overall, the experience felt more focused on sales than customer convenience. Between the limited inclusive sizing options and refusal to provide basic measurements, I left feeling dissatisfied. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to this location.

The lady on the phone was very rude and kept saying we have not picked up the glasses since january, and whoever saw us before is not working there any more. As if it is our fault an employee leaves. Where are the notes? Where are the records of patients' visits? Do they go away with the former employee? Or they are just very unprofessional and try to cover it up saying some one who doenst work there any more is getting my prescription wrong for the third time? Not to mention they got over $1,000 from my insurance in this last appointment, and i still paid over $200 out of pocket for something i havent even received yet. We ended up getting 2 pairs of reading glasses for the price of one (BOGO!) that were ultimately cheaper than the other alternatives - they were $125 frames w/ lenses and they shipped the for $25 to her house. They also gave us a coupon to have the broken glasses repaired at a nearby place. The selection of frames is limited, but all are listed at good prices. I am so glad we found this place. Usually I pay between $200-$300 for a new pair of glasses and frames.

Although the selection is quite small and you will not find Versace, Gucci, etc glasses here, they do carry a small collection of RayBan, Polo, Converse, Levis, and other lower end glasses. However! I have to say that the quality of the frames that they do have are much better than the $300 frames I have seen in other stores. With my insurance, the frame, lenses, polycarbon (am I doing this right? lol ) and anti-glare only cost us $68!! Although it was no name brand frame, I can tell it is still of good quality. THEN they are currently having a $99 sale on their sunglasses if you buy a prescription glass. This promo is good up until April of 2013. Hubby bought a RayBan sunglasses WITH his prescription for just a hundred smackaroos. Last year, hubby bought the same thing at Lenscrafters. He had prescription Rayban sunglasses and a Polo frame totalling at $600 AND he had to return them because they didnt get the prescription right on the lenses for both glasses. Although Lenscrafter's customer service was also stellar, I'm gonna have to say the Sears team and their store's prices kicks major booty.

This is a clear violation of Fedral Law-The Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act (FCLCA) and the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) Contact Lens Rule are the federal regulations that mandate this. I will be filing formal complaints with ALL governing authorities against the Business and specific personel to include my examing Dr. Dr. Ashka Patel who co conspired together with their contact lens"specialist". Lastly, there were no documented resluts of the exam test results uploaded to my patient portal despite my request via email to Dr. Ashka Patel. Alltogerther they took my money, waisted my time and delivered nothing.

When they examined the last pair they found they were made wrong. I took them back to New Vision and asked for a refund bringing proof they were made wrong. He refused. He stated the former glasses I had issues with were only because I didn't like the frames. That's not true. I couldn't see properly out of any of them. I'd also asked to get new lenses in an older frame . He also refused. The person they use to examine your eyes isn't as good as can be had. Dr. Hemmings is a much better eye doctor and can even do cataract surgery. I wasted many months with this place and had to use readers to be able to see. I strongly advise to stay away from this place. You will be much better served to see Dr. Hemmings.
