Brandon, Florida -- Ford Garage What a great experience, who doesn't love old cars & FORD a staple in our history. We were NOT disappointed. So much to visually take in, there use of car parts and rustic venue was a wow factor. The garage look uniform stupendous Our server was sweet and very knowledgeable of the menu; which always a plus!! She highly recommended my choice of bourbon Salmon & Shimp perfect and I mean perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The food came quickly very hot and made as described when I tell you this was delicious, I ate the entire dish. Sooooo good to the last piece. Hubby choice the fish & chips. Wait time on food was terrible, when food finally came out. 2 of the meals were cold sent back to warm up but decided to refuse them and take it off my bill. Service was terrible. Waitress brings the check out with a compliment free car wash...... what a joke to help cover their bad service. I will not visit this location again or recommend it to anyone........ read more

The ambiance was delightful. The Buffalo mac and cheese was seasoned exceptionally well, and the Thunderbird sandwich was delectable. Can't go wrong with a visit to Ford's Garage! I visited this location on a Saturday afternoon- the place already had a decent amount of people seated. We were able to be sat right away. Our waitress was quick to greet us. She was nice, attentive as well. We had an order of their fried pickles (yum) and I ordered their Estate Burger. It was ok- very, very greasy. The bottom bun was full of grease. Aside from that, the burger had good flavoring. Noise level is what you'd expect for this place. It was clean as were the bathrooms. Probably will return again in the future. read more

The food and service was fantastic. Our server (Thomas) was tops. The 1/2lb American Standard was cooked to perfection (medium rare moist & juicy) with lettuce, onion, and tomatoes fresh and crisp. Homemade coleslaw was light and flavorful. The Famous Firestone Shrimp topped with scallions was enjoyed naked (no Spicy "Boom Boom" Sauce). The lightly batter crispy shrimp was golden brown and also perfectly cooked. The only negative, which can be easily be remedied, was the Men's room. With its oil drum urinals and tire sinks with gas pump handle faucets was unique (paper towels would be more in character than the hand blowers). However, the men's room stench was what one might imagine emanating from a 1920's garage. read more

This was the second time we came to Ford's garage and had a bad experience with the food. I ordered my burger medium well with no onions. It came out medium rare with onions, and it was warm, not hot. The server asked me if they should remake the burger because of the onions but I opted to take them off myself. After a few bites I cut the burger in half and discovered that the burger wasn't cooked correctly. I didn't want to wait half an hour for new food. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you order salad. read more

I visited Ford's Garage in Brandon, Florida this past Friday for a late lunch around 1 p.m., and my server, Laura, delivered what I would consider the epitome of excellent customer service. She greeted us quickly, took our drink and appetizer order right away, and struck the perfect balance throughout our meal--always available when we needed a refill, condiments, or anything else, but never hovering or interrupting our conversation. She was friendly, professional, polite, and consistently attentive without being intrusive. The service was genuinely outstanding--so much so that I left her nearly a 100% tip. We were extremely pleased with her, and I would love for this feedback to reach not only the store management but also district leadership and the company's highest levels. James was our server. He was serving us with a smile every time we asked for something. He was nice and funny and willing to make jokes. The food was spectacular. The feeling and look was a 10 out of 10 it was very vintage and cute with the old ford cars everywhere and the sliding garage doors my family and I loved how it looked, it felt very clean. Three out of 4 of us had hamburgers which were good but greasy. Our 4th person had the ribeye and they said it was very good. I ordered a margarita which left a lot to be desired. The atmosphere is cool too it took my daughter a minute to realize the wheel on the cars were actually spinning but she loved it. So many cool accents like gas nozzles for door handles. What a great vibe and concept. The menu is well done with references to car parts and car options. The napkin holders and hose clamps and the napkins are shop rags which I think is clever. Our server was such a gentleman and very thoughtful when waiting for our selections. I haven't gotten our food yet, but I will update my post with pics and experience before I leave. This is so suspenseful. Just kidding... I'm back. So two of the three burgers were cooked to perfection. But we can't remember if we mentioned how to cook that third burger.
