We arrived at 5:00, no one was at the front desk. We stood for about 5 minutes before someone showed up and sat us at our table. This was Dec 1, Monday and there were only 3 tables occupied. We waited and waited. No one came to our table for 15 minutes so we decided to get up and leave. On our way out, one of the maitre de said thank you for coming. She didn't even know that we were not served. This is not an isolated case. A few months prior, we waited for 30 minutes before our server showed up to checked on us after our meal. This restaurant will not be on our list of places to go to for sure. read more

We had another great experience at Ford's Garage after a full day at Zoo Tampa. This was our fourth Ford's Garage location we've visited. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We like the table spacing and it's not too noisy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had 4 adults and our granddaughter and were seated right away. Kylee was our server and she did a fabulous job! We met up with some friends from out of town at 6:30 on a Thursday and were seated right away. We ordered street corn dip while we waited for our friends. It was ok but not great. We also ordered the onion rings which were very good. For dinner we had a High Octane burger which has guacamole, it was fair, We also had a bison burger with tater tots which was good and a mushroom swiss burger which was also good. We enjoy Ford's burgers as you know what you will get not a smash burger. Our friends from out of town enjoyed it as they have gluten free buns, the fun sear on the hamburger buns and the interesting bathrooms. This was the first time that I had brunch here and I was impressed with the menu. I had the Chicken and Waffles: Crispy Chicken on a House-Made Bacon Waffle, Topped with Country Sausage Gravy and a Sunny-Side Up Egg, Served with Maple Syrup. Wasn't too long and waiter came over to take our drink order. Because we had a few minutes to look over menu went ahead and put in the appetizer and lunch order in. Ordered the Motor City kettle chips. Boy those are to die for. Hubby ordered the high octane burger with fries. He said it was delicious. I've been here many times over the years. The food, the service and the ambience have always been. This is the only restaurant I have ever been to that consistently cooked My burger perfect. Solid spot for a burger and a beer. I like the play on a car garage down to the napkins that are oil rags and the hose clamps used to hold them rolled up. Burgers are quite big so would recommend splitting one with an app maybe vs grabbing 2 and an app if you're dining with another. read more

We happened upon this location after looking on Yelp for sports bars in the area so we could watch the game. We parked and we're a little bit confused as always the arena, however after a short walk inside it was easy enough to find the sports bar. We were warmly welcomed and offered a seat by one of the windows so we could look over a rink. We went over the menu and they had a good number of options, and a great drink menu as well. It can get a little bit cold in here as it's in the middle of a couple of ice hockey rinks, so you may want to bring a jacket or sweater to stay warm while you eat. They had a solid number of TV so if you're looking to watch a game it's an easy spot to be able to view it from any angle. We ordered our meals and things did take a little bit to come out, however it was very busy so it wasn't that surprising. When everything did come out it was as ordered and tasted good. I will say that the staff was really the difference maker here as they were friendly throughout the entire evening. Overall: A Definitely a fun spot to watch a game, while also being able to watch some fun hockey events from the highview over the rinks. Be sure to walk around inside and check out all the things they have. If you're in the area they also have some great events so be sure to follow them on socials for more info.

Our server provided swift and attentive service throughout our meal. To start, we indulged in the firecracker shrimp appetizer, which was bursting with flavor. I ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich, which proved to be a substantial portion. I chose the broccoli side,but I was disappointed by its soggy and lackluster presentation, regretting not choosing the crispy fries instead. Nonetheless, the rest of the meal was satisfying. We would certainly return for a simple yet enjoyable dining experience, particularly appreciating the exemplary service. We were told that an 8-top had just left and they needed to clean the table and floor. By 5:20 With three hungry children and no update even though the hostess was right next to us, we decided we'd waited long enough and left to find somewhere else to eat. What bothered us most wasn't simply the wait. It was the combination of the attitude when we arrived, the lack of communication afterward, and feeling like we were being ignored while other guests were seated. When we finally said we were going to leave, we were simply told, "Okay, have a great day," without an apology or any attempt to address the situation. We understand that restaurants get busy and that tables need to be cleaned. We also understand that arriving early doesn't guarantee an early seating. What we don't understand is why we were made to feel like an inconvenience and then left waiting after our actual reservation time with no communication. Unfortunately, the experience left a really bad impression, and we ended up taking our family to the living room for dinner, which was a much friendlier experience and were greeted, sat and had drinks within 5 min of arriving. Again unfortunately after the way we felt leaving grillsmith we will probably never be back as there are so many other restaurants in the area willing to make you feel welcomed.
