We arrived at 5:00, no one was at the front desk. We stood for about 5 minutes before someone showed up and sat us at our table. This was Dec 1, Monday and there were only 3 tables occupied. We waited and waited. No one came to our table for 15 minutes so we decided to get up and leave. On our way out, one of the maitre de said thank you for coming. She didn't even know that we were not served. This is not an isolated case. A few months prior, we waited for 30 minutes before our server showed up to checked on us after our meal. This restaurant will not be on our list of places to go to for sure. read more

We had another great experience at Ford's Garage after a full day at Zoo Tampa. This was our fourth Ford's Garage location we've visited. We met up with some friends from out of town at 6:30 on a Thursday and were seated right away. We ordered street corn dip while we waited for our friends. It was ok but not great. We also ordered the onion rings which were very good. For dinner we had a High Octane burger which has guacamole, it was fair, We also had a bison burger with tater tots which was good and a mushroom swiss burger which was also good. We enjoy Ford's burgers as you know what you will get not a smash burger. Our friends from out of town enjoyed it as they have gluten free buns, the fun sear on the hamburger buns and the interesting bathrooms. Wasn't too long and waiter came over to take our drink order. Because we had a few minutes to look over menu went ahead and put in the appetizer and lunch order in. Ordered the Motor City kettle chips. Boy those are to die for. Hubby ordered the high octane burger with fries. He said it was delicious.
