Long review ahead so just a warning to those looking into the salon that they will ask for your number to "sign in," hoping they won't harass me after seeing this review. Went in tonight and had a terrible experience with Megan. She was rude and aggressive when grabbing my hands during my manicure, and she had terrible customer service and a very off putting attitude. During my manicure she'd aggressively grab my hands, occasionally dig her nails into me, and would hurt my nails during the cleaning by drilling into the skin near my nail beds and under my nail. She kept insisting she cut my nails after I said no because I wanted to keep the length and she ended up filing my nails down to a shorter length. The buffer she used was small and looked new but I'm not sure about the nail file. My nails ended also ended up uneven after she over filed one of my nails. At some point, there was something sticky all over my fingers on both hands, maybe it was the clear polish they use to prep nails before gel, and when I asked her to remove it before I put my hand under the lamp she got annoyed and started mumbling under her breath in a different language, when another tech walked by she called her over and was talking in an angry tone, considering the circumstances I would assume it was about me. I kept insisting politely that she clean the gel off my skin, THIS is how allergic reactions can happen, and she seemed so bothered and annoyed and would just use alcohol and disregard what I would say. I would assume this is something they would go over in their certification process with the state? At the end, I was so over being blown off I just wanted to get out of there. It was the most terrible experience I've had anywhere and I will not be returning. I just hope there aren't any negative consequences after having the gel cured on my skin. read more

*Laye review from before Valentine's Day 2022* Second time coming to this salon and let me say "don't judge a book by its cover" is the case for me here! I did not like my first set at all when I came. I did dip powder(which I'm obsessed with) and they came out too thick and chunky. Needless to say this very picky girl was not pleased. I decided to go back and give them a try since they are literally always so busy but somehow always find the time to fit me in and not make me wait very long. So I went back, had Emily as my tech and my whole perception has changed! I loved her, her attention to detail, the fact that she didn't nag or comment on my pickiness, and I LOVED the final result of my nails! Oh and I also made such a sweet friend who was seated next to me! A win-win in my boo forsure. I have such thin & frail nails which I shared with Jade and she did a great job of making sure she didn't buff or file them too much. She was even gentle when removing my cuticle, which I have a lot of & she got to all of it! I typically have whoever is available do my nails but I will say Olivia is the best! She is so detail oriented - between the shape and design I am always impressed! I get a dip manicure and gel pedicure and my natural nails have grown so much it's insane. They recently re did the salon too so ambiance is even better. The only con is Forever is a little pricey compared to other places and my appointments usually run 2+ hours. But ultimately it makes sense based on the service they provide so I keep coming back! read more

I could exceed the character limit with the amount of complaints I have about this place, but I'll keep it short and sweet. This is the first and definitely last time I'll come here. I wanted a dip manicure like I always get, they told me no, that gel-x was better so I decided to try it out. She immediately cuts down my natural nails that were decently long to barely past my finger tips. It was a red flag, but I decided to trust the process. Then, when she starts applying the nails, I asked to go shorter, she said no, it'll look weird. I decided to go along with it once again. It BURNED so badly when the gel was applied and it felt like I was getting my nails ripped out. When I mentioned it to her, she said it was normal and it's fine for it to burn. No?? That is NOT normal?? I ended up deciding not to speak up again because I knew my girl would just shut me down. I hated the end result so much that I cut them off when I got home. They're so thick, uncomfortable, and awfully shaped. -5/10. Do not go here unless you're seeing Christeen. It was also $160 for a gel pedicure and a gel x manicure. So expensive. read more

IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT I WOULD. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED I came in to remove my existing gel X for a new set and a gel pedicure. Tee started the removal, and when she was shaving off the gel according to her, her glove got caught on the device and it slipped. Which left an open BLEEDING wound on the cuticle and just below (photos included). She immediately put SUPER GLUE on my wound (no antiseptic!!!!) And tried a couple times to put on a bandaid. She continued to shave the gel off my pinky getting blood on her tools. Then continuing the removal with placing acetone cotton balls and foil on all my nails including the pinky that was still bleeding and throbbing. She proceeded to giggle to her coworker Julia doing my pedicure. Talking about what happened. Julia was the only one after I was cut to check on me twice to make sure I wasn't in pain. I explained to Tee that it would be best to not continue the full set and I would let my finger heal and make another appointment. She filed down the jagged edges of my nails and painted gel polish on my nails including the bleeding pinky finger. My blood is now in that base coat, neutral gel color and gel top coat. Which will be reused on other clients. When she was done I explained to her that I didn't expect to pay for this because I didn't get what I originally came in to do. Again letting her now I would come back once my finger is healed. She told the manager Valeri I was cut and that I was not going to pay (was the manager concerned about the wound.. NOPE) she just responded that i needed to pay for the gel. Tee told me "it's okay, you'll only pay for pedicure" I responded to her "of course!" When Valeri walked to the front desk to charge me, she asked, "How do you want to pay" I politely said Card please. Her response was, Venmo me, with an extremely rude tone. Fine whatever. I scanned the Venmo code and paid for my pedicure. Valeri proceeded to ask me to tip Tee for her services. I told Valeri I would tip her, per usual, during my next appointment when I am able to get my full set as I had originally scheduled my appointment for. She demanded I tip and I didn't want to continue going back and forth, BUT as I was pulling out my cash tip... she had the audacity to look at me and say " Maybe you should receive your services elsewhere at another shop" GIRL BYE. I don't have time for this BS. I drive all the way from LA to Costa Mesa. I will gladly be taking my money elsewhere. This nail salon is NOT SANITARY. If they can reuse tools AND GEL POLISH with my blood on them on other clients out of laziness. I'm disgusted because I know I'm not the first person to get injured my one of the staff members. read more

Being that it was so close to the holidays, I called ahead and asked how long the wait time would be. The lady that answered asked what we were getting and if we were doing any designs. I let her know, and she said there wouldn't be a wait. When we arrived, it looked and sounded so busy. Almost all tables and chairs were taken. I was surprised to see them using a microphone at the front desk to inform them that service was needed to the nail techs in the back. (I assume that was what was being said. They spoke a different language). There indeed was no wait at all because we quickly were told to sit in our seats and were greeted by Hana and Mia. I informed them what we wanted and told them it was my niece's first time getting acrylic. They were super helpful and patient.
