Delicious food, great drink menu and nice little patio tucked away from the bussiness of the loop. Good prices and nice staff... but don't come here if you're in a hurray. Well worth the wait!

My husband and I came here for a dinner date last weekend and were so delighted! It was our first time at Fork & Stix, and it was so cozy and chic. I love how it's tucked away around the corner of a side street of Delmar. It has a great neighborhood feel to it that escapes the chaos of the Loop! The food was excellently prepared and super flavorful, we can't wait to try more of the menu! Our servers were very friendly and attentive as well. Overall, a great spot for a date night or an outing with a small group of friends/family. Looking forward to coming back soon!

An intimate setting. The nights are dimmed during the dinner hour. We were seated quickly and drinks and food came out shortly after ordered. Khao Pad was great, their fried rice. Orders shrimp and it was served generously. The appetizer Thai Stix and Crispy Spring Rolls were a great starter to the meal. There are many cocktails to select from. Had an overly lovely evening at Fork and Stix.

A friend and I went here because it was recommended by a couple we met at the art museum and noticed we were looking at yelp for a place nearby to have supper. She said her favorite dish was khao soi which I ordered and really enjoyed. I have been craving it ever since. My friend ordered Khao pad and she loved it. We split the egg rolls which were hot and crispy. I ordered the muu ping and it was sweet and tasty...it did have some fat on it that I removed, but some may love that. The waitress was sweet and attentive. It's kind of a darker quiet place and when we pulled up we weren't even sure if it was open. Once we got inside we could see there were people, but from the street it's hard to tell so I'm glad we double checked at the door. I look forward to going again.

Fork & Stix is a testament to the quality taste of Thai cuisine. Situated in a quaint corner of the loop, the restaurant fosters a homely dining experience either inside or outside. They serve quickly and efficiently. I ordered Laab Gai for the table as well as Green Curry. The Laab Gai was so good the first time I had it, I have been craving their version even after I left STL. It is the best Laab I've ever had. The green curry is high quality and rich in flavor. Each side has a sizable portion for each person. I would rate it as one of my, if not the absolute, favorite Thai restaurant in the country.

A charming out of the way place that you wouldn't just "find" on your own. The food was served piping hot and so delicious. We had the (hoy jaw)dumplings which were fried and packed with meat, the Thai stix which were good but not outstanding and the chicken sateh which was very tasty with a coconut milk glaze that had lots of flavor. Others in our party had the Jungle curry and Pad Ka Prao. The highlight were the amazing cocktails. We had the Midnight in Morocco which was very sweet but hit the right notes with elderflower liquor and the blueberry dark and stormy as well as a mojito. The service was solid. There was seating inside and out which was nice. Parking was fairly easy on a Sunday evening

Fabulous service for dinner and the food was excellent as well. I met a friend here for dinner with me arriving early. So I started off with a beer and the "Hoy Jaw" dumplings that arrived a few minutes later. Shrimp, crab, pork all mixed and served with a sweet Thai chili mix that was perfect for dipping. Yummy and it was my intention to save half for my friend, I ended up eating them all. Oops. I heard that it was the Khao Soi was the thing to have, so that's what I ordered with chicken. It was flavorful, loaded with texture and delicious. A curry soup with Thai egg noodles and greens, I'd skip the crispy egg noodles on top next time as they were in the way a lot. My friend ordered a Pad Thai, asking for "9" level of heat. He spent the first half of his meal saying that he couldn't find the hot and the second half asking for more water. Funny. So there you go. A fantastic meal in a cozy little restaurant with excellent service from all the staff. Perfect! [Review 582 of 2024 - 285 in Missouri - 21613 overall]

Can get pretty loud when dining in, but still enjoyed myself here. They have some truly excellent options, while others fell just short. Not bad by any means. Favorite dishes: Hung lay curry, Muu ping (so good we ordered seconds)

Been holding out for Fork & Stix and finally went. The staff was incredibly accommodating, holding a table for our group of 10. This is a laid-back no frills Thai restaurant in University City's Delmar Loop community in St. Louis, offering classic Northern Thailand dishes--a staple spot for many. We tried all the things. My favorites include: Thai Stix Cream cheese & Crab mixed wrapped in wonton wrapper and deep fried. Serve with Thai sweet chili sauce. Pad Kee Mao with Shrimp Stir fry spicy egg noodles, bell pepper, green beans, onions, basil, gluten free soy sauce. Som Tum add Crab Spicy green papaya salad. tomato, green beans, fish sauce, garlic, peanuts.

Yum yum yum. I called ahead since there were 10 of us coming in & they had the table ready with no questions! It's a smaller area so if you do have a larger group I would definitely call ahead. Tried almost everything on the menu & it was all amazing. I don't think you can go wrong! Parking is all street parking so don't try to drive directly to the restaurant!

Popped in here for a quick lunch and really enjoyed it. I had Larb gai. Very fresh and yummy. Service is good. I sat outside as it was a lovely day and quite enjoyed it. I would definitely come back.

Thai Stix - I do think they changed the shape of these. They used to be sticks and now they're more resemblant of crab rangoon.

Usually when it comes to Thai food, I'm a takeout girlie. However, I love going and eating at fork and stix. The vibes are warm and inviting, and it's a great place to eat with a friend or even take a date! They do have specialty cocktails - which you might think is not the move at a place like this. However, I found the Mojito to be fresh and delicious! They have tons of small plates to choose from, but the Thai stix and chicken satay can't be beat. All the food comes piping hot, and incredibly rich in flavor! My favorite dish is the Pad Ka Prao - and it never disappoints. The basil adds the perfect herby flavor. Warning ---- Thai MILD is most people's medium :) perfect amount of kick!

LOVELY place! I read an article that said they had the best Khao Soi of any Thai restaurant in Saint Louis, so HAD to check it out. I must say, I've never had Khao Soi before, and I LOVED it! Might be a problem, because from the sounds of it, other places might not measure up? The service was VERY good, with the exception of the waiter assuming we'd only need one bill. I truly don't understand why waiters/waitresses don't ASK before printing off the bill! It would be SO MUCH EASIER for everyone! One of the things I loved about this restaurant was the smaller menu. Just makes choosing manageable! I also enjoyed the smallness of the restaurant, making it quieter and cozy. And that cocktail was OUTSTANDING!

I get that this is a Thai restaurant, not Chinese (though it's more Chinese than I am), but Meyou might consider such a policy. I would have benefited from it yesterday. I visited on a Wednesday evening with members of a running group. There were umpteen of us. If we'd been given a single egg roll appetizer, we would have been forced to cut it in tiny pieces and share. I would have been willing to do that, because I'm a confirmed, avowed savage. My reputation precedes me. Arguably, they should give you one free appetizer for every six members of your party. But I digress. Now, where was I? Ah yes, Meyou. I'd describe this place as a somewhat Americanized version of Thai food, based on what little I know from having recently visited Bangkok and eaten in roughly 40 or 50 restaurants, food stalls and what have you over the course of a few days, i.e. not a whole lot. You can get pad thai and various other soups, noodles and curries, along with fried rice, egg rolls, crab rangoon and chicken wings. It's got a little something for everyone. Do they charge you $0.25 for extra soy sauce? Can you call up and try to harangue them into giving you a free order of crab rangoon by claiming that they shorted you the last time you were there, knowing good and well they can count better than you? I'm not sure. I might try that on my next visit and report back. This time, I went with something called Pad See Ew, which wasn't nearly as gross as its name suggests. In fact, it was good. Its description on the menu, with broccoli, eggs and soy sauce, called to mind various things I might order from a Chinese takeout--which is what I tend to look for in a menu item. As a noodle dish, I figured the overall flavor profile might not be different from a lo mein lunch special I used to get decades ago, that I still fondly reminisce about on a weekly basis. I wasn't that far off from the mark. They let you choose the spice level, ranging from mild to hot. I usually get hot in most places, but I'm hesitant to do that at Asian restaurants, because they might have access to peppers that are technically considered research chemicals, like Temu Ozempic, and therefore not subject to FDA approval. There were a few girls there, and I didn't want to run the risk of my throat starting to close up. I'd have to find a new run group. Medium turned out to be just right for me, but maybe too spicy if you're expecting something along the lines of a buffalo wing. Even the mild, apparently, has a bit of a kick to it. The noodles were nice and slippery and cooked a touch beyond al dente, right in that Goldilocks zone between undercooked and mush. The heat, and the complexity provided by whatever they use to season this, helped offset the underlying sweetness. You get your choice of meat. No Diddy. I went with pork, natch, with apologies to the Honorable Minister. The amount they give you is surprisingly generous, except that this dish will run you. I'm talking modern-day Chipotle prices. Maybe a dollar or two more. Yikes! But I'd argue that the quality justifies it. If I lived nearby, and I had the means, I'd stop by on occasion.

Upon entering, there is a sandwich board advertising drinks and seasonal specials, such as mango sticky rice. It seemed to be a two-person operation on the weeknight we went. You check in with the host, who appeared to be taking turns serving guests with one other woman. I believe they have happy hour from 4 pm-6 pm on weekdays. We had waters, and I ordered a piña colada while my beau ordered a strawberry lemonade margarita. My friend ordered some appetizers for our table: spring rolls and Thai wings. The spring rolls arrived neatly plated atop green lettuce with a very loose dipping sauce, while the wings arrived perfectly crispy and hot with a thicker sauce that was slightly spicy. On the table, they had plenty of red chili flakes as well as a spicy sauce that we added to our wing sauce for more spice. I would say the chicken wings needed a pinch of sea salt. I ordered the Thai Fried Rice with chicken, my friend ordered Thai Fried Rice with shrimp (a pro--they remove the shells from the tails), and my beau ordered Spicy Kee Mao Noodles with beef. Every dish was hot, fragrant, colorful, and delicious. The meat was tender in every dish, with pops of color from bell peppers. However, service was very slow. At first, there was hardly anyone there, and then tables filled up quickly. Even before then, we had to flag a server down for various things: napkins, etc. My friend ordered some food to go for her son, and it did not come with utensils or napkins, so she had to ask for some. We also had to flag a server down just to get our bill. Once paid, on the way out, I saw the biggest roach I have ever seen. It was lying on its back, dead but still. I'm so glad I saw it after and not before dinner because otherwise, I would not have dined there. Based on parts of my experience, I am doubtful about returning.
