Rolling 6 deep, including two twin 6 year olds, my posse arrived here on a sunny Saturday. Of course, we sat outside on that perfect weather day. There was live music on the stage which made their awesome outdoor area very festive. The kids immediately began playing with the toys & games near the stage. Our delightful waitress added to the already welcoming vibe. She was very attentive & friendly, and patiently answered all our questions. We got beer queso, 2 pizzas, and beer and seltzer flights. The beer queso is over the top yummy. I also enjoyed the flights. I loved being able to taste test a couple of beers and seltzers. We took pics in the decorated storage containers along the side. The kids had a blast in them. Our waitress explained that they can reserved for parties to eat & chill in them. During the week, the restaurant hosts game nights, so I'll be sure to return for that. Have eaten at original location years ago and good as good but this time the food such as pizza and the half burger served on little buffet we had was not good . The beers were great but won't be back . I heard they are closing the location they are at because business not great . I'm not sure where moving to though . After introducing my +1 to some extraordinary beer cheese dip in Hot Springs, we went on the hunt to find a local equivalent, being drawn to Fort Brewery for their Drunk Dip. It was a worthy entry, though not exactly beer Cheese as i remember it from New England. We rolled up at the tail end of a brunch buffet, so close to it ending that the food looked a little spent, though it was tempting. We ordered to pizzas to split: Prosciutto, Olive & Mushroom and Meat Coma, and the Drunk Dip. It was plenty of food for three of us. My preferred beer style is a barrel-aged stout, which they didn't have on the menu. We tried a few others, all solid local craft brews. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. It was a little warm to sit outside. The indoor dining area feels like a tap room, with mixed materials and cozy booths. The pizzas were very flavorful, hot, and melty. The drunk dip was also excellent. Chips were fresh and salty, just like we like them. Service was good, as relief as there are some negative reviews here regarding service. Since we'd ordered a full meal, the service staff offered to let us graze a little on the buffet since the whole thing was going in the trash. We pulled a few donuts and pasta, which were great for free food, but a bit past the fresh test. We appreciated the gesture as it seemed really wasteful to just toss it all. Off a recent Yelp review and FW Foodies FB page, we decided to check it out. We went on a Sunday afternoon, after the Cowboys game, and it was almost deserted. However, the greeters were great! We ate at the bar, and the bar staff was very helpful. We ordered the whipped feta dip, mixed with fresh basil and green onions. It came served naan bread and a small scattering of vegetables. While it was a little unimpressive to look at, it was super yummy! I would have ordered 2x the naan bread next time. My wife had a nice seltzer, and I got a beer flight (4). I stopped by for Pitt adoption day! I met my friend to check out a few pups looking for homes. There were plenty of little canine friends to be adopted although I did not find one for myself it was a great time interacting with them. I did have a couple of beers while there and enjoy them very much, so much that I forgot to take a picture lol so I'll have to go back to grab some snaps of some suds! We happened to be in the neighborhood after the FW Cowtown race. Looking for something to eat at 10am on a Saturday and the Yelp reviews led us in the direction. Not too mention the idea of a cold beer sounded good. We were the second people to be sat when they opened. It filled up quick too. Loved the decor and lots of tables inside and outside. They even have heaters outside. The hostess at the front door almost ruined the experience. Rude and not the welcoming person a business wants greeting their customers. Luckily our waitress more than made up for it. My wife and I ordered two craft beers and they came out very cold and quickly. So good that we had to partake in a couple more. Then we decided on a large goat cheese, pesto and rosemary pizza. Even added some Italian sausage to it. By this time the place was starting to fill up. That didn't stop them for bringing out the pie about 15 minutes later. WOW I wasn't expecting that much flavor. Not a tick but not a thin crust either. Just right. The flavors and cook were PERFECT. I was sold when browsing the menu and I soon came across the Whipped Feta Dip... It's described as "whipped feta mixed with fresh basil and green onions. Topped with jalapeno honey, served with homemade pita bread and vegetable crudité." You can sub cauliflower chips if you're gluten free like me. That's what we did and it was all soooo good. I believe the cauliflower chips are made from one of their gluten free pizza crusts. Fine by me. The dip itself was super fresh, tart, creamy, and addictive. Jon ordered a caesar salad and I got a gluten free "Diavalo" pizza: marinara, spicy calabrese, shredded mozzarella, pickled jalapenos, jalapeno honey, and crushed red pepper. I was really into the whole jalapeno honey thing.. The pizza was great, plenty of toppings and cheese, super flavorful. Well seasoned. We really enjoyed our food! While this is a brewery with lots of beer options, they also have a stellar wine menu. Like... there's A LOT of wine on this menu, and some really unique options. I was happy that our bartender had some great recommendations when I asked for a dry, crisp, not-sweet, white wine. The inside is pretty little but there's still space to hang out comfortably. My server was Robert both times and he did an excellent job. He and the rest of the outside wait staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. Large outside seating area with 4 top tables and long tables for 6. Dogs are welcome and treated to a bandanna and a bowl of water. There's a cushy seating area with games for children by the large covered stage area. The open patio has an accordion type roof that can be closed during rainy weather. I've come here a couple of times for Wednesday trivia nights. They have a large outdoor seating area as well as smaller indoor seating area, and they offer a lot of events (live music, trivia, etc.). The food is pretty good - I've tried their pizza and a few appetizers, and it's been consistent each time I've come. They have a pretty good drink menu as well. The main issue is the service - each time I've come, the service has been slow and our server barely came by. It was almost impossible to get someone to bring us napkins. I know this is a busy place, and our servers were very nice, but it's still an area that can be improved upon. Overall a good spot for events, drinks, and pizza; just be prepared for a bit of a wait for service. read more

In Fort Worth visiting my girlfriend's family. Went the day after thanksgiving, after walking in Trinity Park - we arrived around 4 and had most of the outside to ourselves. The server was great, friendly and attentive. I only tried a few beers, and they were good, though not exceptional - the lady of the haze was the best. I had the diavola pizza, which was great. Jalapeño honey was a nice accent. My gf enjoyed her veggie burger. I didn't have any of the French fries, but apparently they could've been crispier. The outdoors had a good ambiance, very spacious and open. There were a few storage containers refitted to be quasi-private lounges, advertised by brands like Mary Kay, which struck me as strange, considering the ambiance generally conveyed 'local' craft brewery. But maybe I'm being cynical. In summary, a solid locale with solid drinking and eating choices. read more

I can't believe this place is still running off the same Yelp page since the days of Chimera. Chimera sold themselves to Fort Brewery, they took over the magnolia location years ago, outgrew that location and have now moved over to north of 7th st in the area of Maple Branch and Bankhead. We never went to the old location as we were salty Chimera went and our favourite cheese dip was 86'd. Anywho this new location is pretty cool, it's more of a restaurant vibe than brewery, with the host stand and 'please wait to be seated'. Though the host ignored us stood right infront of her and other employee greeted us. We sat outside as the weather was nice, I read about their retractable roof, it was a shame it was closed, though they did partially open it before we left. Live music was on. The murals they have painted are pretty cool. The beer was good, a nice selection not just all ipas as a lot of places are becoming, they had a nice selection of everything pretty much; blondes, lagers, ales, a porter, seltzers. I did a flight which came out on a Texas shaped tasting board with a card along ordering the beers by N,E,S,W which was cool. The menu is typical American; pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads etc... We did the pizza of course and went for a personal pizza each, boy those personal pizzas are small, about 6inch by the looks of it and at $12 - is a little excessive. I didn't see the size of the larges but next time I'd get that. I went for the Mac Attack one, which was actually really good, Mac and cheese and bacon on a pizza - moorish to say the least. My husband got the wrong pizza delivered but they let us keep it and made us the right one! It was a good thing as they are soo small, we appreciated the gesture! Turns out it was the GM that ran our food to our table, so props to him! We also had the chicken wings to start which are the new chicken lollipops that are popping up everywhere, they were pretty good. Pass on their blue cheese however. Our server was good, they carry their POS system on their wrists, so everything is ordered on those and that's how you pay your bill, no check books or paper receipts. A group of us came here a few weeks ago and sat on the patio. The patio roof is able to open and close in sections and our waitress was able to open and close it when we got too hot/cold (it was a weird temp day but sunny). We got a variety of food in the group and everyone raved about everything. My husband and I got flights of beer and even though there aren't many to choose from, each one we tried was so good!! Good lord it was huge. They say it is wagyu, but when they are thin, you can't tell. They were tasty but they weren't remarkably tender or delicious. Tasted like regular beef to me. The whipped feta can also be ordered as an appetizer, and that stuff is DELICIOUS. The burger was super messy, but they supply a roll of paper towels on the table which was very much appreciated. Their wine selection is extensive. A bit on the pricier side, but they've got a little bit of something for everyone. My server was super friendly and very knowledgeable.
