I had such a great experience dining at Fortina this weekend. Everything from the food to the service was spot on! Our server was so amazing! I forgot her name, but she was such a sweetheart and gave some great recommendations. We started off with the wings, which I highly recommended! They are cooked in the wood brick oven, so it has a beautiful smokey taste! We also enjoyed our entrees. The pasta was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. My only gripe is that the broccoli rabe was too bitter for my liking and the pizza was on the saltier side. Food was still great tho and am looking forward to trying this Stamford location!

An empty hand with no food in it because they haven't given me any food.

Trash estimation of wait time and embarrassingly poor quality service. Standing here 25 mins after scheduled pick up. No updates, no apologies no food. It's my birthday, my kids are in the car. So underwhelmed.

Their pizza is what I come back here for! This location is a bit smaller than what I am use to but the food was just as good as their other location in Yonkers. I loved the Caesar salad and how well dressed it was. There was a bit of a wait for us to be seated when we first walked in and to make up for that they sent us some mozzarella sticks on the house which was very nice of them to do considering my kids were starving haha. Our waitress greeted us with a smile and was super friendly. We will be back again at this location for sure !

Second time eating here. Ate here many years ago when Christian Petroni was the owner. I understand it has since changed hands. Came for lunch and seated outside, and other than a pestering and persistent bee that wouldnt leave my food alone, the experience was a positve one. I ordered the house salad with chicken on the side. Greens were mostly fresh but I did see one piece of romaine that was spotted brown. (I ate it anyway.) It was served in a deep and wide white bowl and the greens were plentiful. Atop the salad was a snowfall of grated cheese whose flavor was relatively non-descript once mixed with the rest of the meal. The salad was a bit overdressed with an italian robosto. The chicken accompaniment tasted and looked a bit sad. It was dry and had an aftertaste. My children loved their spaghetti and meatballs. My husband liked the Ray's Pizza. He also raved about our friend's mozz sticks. The pictured caesar salad looked good. Overall, the menu is super interesting and I think this is really a place to enjoy pizza rather than salad. I was intrigued by all of the vegetable offerings. I would and do plan to return.

Walked in and told to sit wherever. So we were seated quickly wherever we wanted. We were in a bit of a lunch time crunch, we had to get the attention of someone to come take our order. We ordered our appetizer and entrees all at once. It took longer than expected. My appetizer came out after the entrees. Most of the food we got boxed up to go. I was a bit surprised to see a bone in the chicken parm and was told it was a leg bone. Isn't chicken parm usually chicken breast? Anyway, food was fine. Not sure we would go back though. Service was a bit slow.

Fantastic service! A co-worker and I brought clients and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. PS - Try the Bada-bing.

Best mozzarella sticks I've ever had! Love this place. Food is great. Service could use a little improvement. But overall really good.

Fortina - Rye Brook on a cold, dark December night is the best treat. The food and service are amazing, too.

Well I ordered the eggplant Parmesan, rice balls, and spaghetti with meatballs. The eggplant was bland overly cheesy, the ziti that came along was very chewy, the rice balls were strange. The rice seemed like it was not rice and also very cheesy . As for the spaghetti with meatballs, the meatballs also were bland. Not sure but my guess is they were a pork beef blend. The texture was something that was more pureed than mixed. Can't see a return visit.

(Let me start out by saying that I would have given this place a three but I am giving it a two…read morebecause of my experience with the waitress.) I have been waiting to try this place for a minute because I grew up in Chicago and love pan pizza. But I was so disappointed, not in the pizza, but in the wait staff. I went on 4/21/26 around 3pm and I was the only person in the restaurant besides the waitress. From the moment I entered the facility until the moment I left the as glued to her phone. So much so that she got my pizza order wrong and brought out a mushroom, green pepper and onion pizza when I hate mushrooms and don't even allow the word to come out of my mouth. When I brought it to her attention she took it back and put in my correct order. Right before the second pizza arrived I had to remind her that I had ordered a Mediterranean salad. She quickly went to the back to get it. When it came there were no tomatoes on the salad which, according to their menu, should have been on the salad. The pizza was decent; it had a light pan pizza style crust but I wouldn't make a special trip out of my way to go there. Also, as it pertains to ambiance and atmosphere, the volume on the television in the bar area where I sat was set to 40 or 50. It was so loud I couldn't hear myself talk on the phone. And everyone the business phone rang, the waitress would go into the dining room to answer the phone because it was too loud for her to hear herself talk too. Eventually, after about 30 minutes, the waitress had an epiphany and turned the volume down. Finally, I want to say that the waitress's demeanor was off putting and made me feel some type of way but that's for another day.

We had a really great lunch here. We sat in the back, outside under an umbrella table, and we…read morestarted off with the Gorgonzola salad. It was crispy, fresh and delicious. For entrées, we ordered a cheese pizza and the sunday pizza. The pizzas were delicious, with really crispy cheese edges, and a tasty crust. We will definitely be back to try more of the famous pizzas!
