Been wanting to try this place and we finally did! The location is in the shopping center close to Walmart and Sam's Club. We were greeted by the staff as soon as we came in. The ambiance is nice, clean and very well put together. The menu was easy to understand and the pictures also help if you're not knowing how to order. We ordered several items in the menu because everything sounded amazing. Shrimp Dumpling came with a nice and not at all overwhelming sauce. The balance was perfect. Found this place through Yelp and it turned out to be across from where we were. It's a typical looking storefront Chinese restaurant. There are several tables, it's very clean and the staff is very friendly and polite. We ordered the pan fried pork dumplings, a vegetable fried rice and a crispy pork appetizer. It was all very tasty and fresh. The bathroom, despite only one unisex toilet , was very neat and clean. They were busy with a good amount of patrons during dinner but my order was already ready "ASAP". It was already waiting for me when I arrived about 20 minutes after placing the order. If ordering through their website you pay at the store when you pick up your food. We ordered beef brisket rice noodle, taro buns, bbq pork buns, cheese wonton, and fried pork dumplings. I think the total was around $60? The food is very flavorful and herbaceous. The brisket rice noodle is spicy! Lots of cilantro. I was told the fried dumplings with the tuile had notes of lemongrass and the cheese wonton seemed to have some cilantro. The favorites of the night were probably the steamed buns. As a suggestion, if ordering through their website you should copy and paste the Chinese name into google images to get an idea of what you're ordered. It's difficult to tell from the English name alone. I would like if the website had photos and listed what goes into each dish (for the unfortunate souls that inherited the soapy cilantro gene) and if it's spicy. Let's see the onion pancake was good, not overly flavorful but good! The fried potstickers were interesting, not my favorite but it had presentation was super fun! The vegetable egg rolls were good.. now, the chili dumplings "wow" that was delicious! Spicy but in the best way! I would go back just for that lol! The fried pork was way over cooked, not my jam... the bbq pun on the other hand was pretty good! The bun was super delicious, the pork taste fresh... super good! over all super fun and tasty! Can't forget the kids cartoon.. custard filled buns that are absolutely adorable!! My son wanted to try the new dumpling house in Vacaville for dinner last Sunday evening (just before 7pm), so we came in to get some take out. Don't let the Dumpling House name fool you, they also offer other Chinese dishes as well as Ramen/Udon Noodle Soups as well. They are located on the Walmart side of Helen Power Drive right next to Angry Chickz. We were greeted right away when we walked in. There is not too many tables, so if you get there at a busy time, expect a wait for a table if dining in. Decor is decent and overall looks clean. The staff all seemed really nice as I was observing them while waiting for our take out order. They all seemed to be able to speak mandarin. Food: - Pan Fried Pork Buns (4 pcs - $12.95): a little pricey for 4 pcs especially since there is minimal filling (see picture). It inside of the bun was juicy as I bit into it, but overall lacked flavor. - Taro Buns (4pcs - $5.95): the bun and the filling only had mild taro flavor and was not very sweet. - Walnut Shrimp ($15.95): the kids found this to be the best dish out of our order, but I have had better. They provided the mayonnaise based sauce on the side for you to mix with the shrimp later so it doesn't loose its crispiness. - Sesame Chicken ($15.95): flavor was good, but the sauce clumped up into molasses consistency as the dish cooled. - Fried Pork Dumplings (8pcs - $12.95): basically pan fried pot stickers, decent flavor, but I did not feel it was worth the price. - Pork and Leek Dumplings (8 pcs - $10.95): decent flavor and the I can see/taste the leeks. - They included only 1 container of dumpling sauce (1/3 filled) and 1 container of chili sauce (1/3 filled) which I thought was a little chintzy. They are only on their soft opening, so I hope the quality of the food and portion size improves in time. I would consider coming back to try their other items, but will probably wait a few months to let them get things ramped up and food to be more consistent. We went during soft opening, this place is legit! All the flavors were amazing, we tried their Beef rolls, Fried Rice, Wonton Soup, Orange Chicken, and Walnut Shrimp. Space inside is not very big, big parties will take up half the restaurant- better to order to go. Parking was good, open area. Now the food, the quality is 100% on point, the quantity is not, the Walnut Shrimp can probably feed two people, the Beef Rolls was only three pieces (yes only 3) and I had my family of four, my sons decided not to try it since it was not a lot. But the Orange chicken was a good family size, they used small bits of orange peel in it, but it was cooked beautifully, the chicken breading was crispy even though it was smothered with the juice. Wonton soup was so good, Shrimp Fried Rice was also made good- very clean. Again the flavors were on point, I am a Beef Rolls fan, and there is another place in town that makes it, a lot of it, but that was my only Con, besides that, it was so good! 07/11/26- Went here Saturday around 5:30pm and good thing that there's seat available for 5. Greeted by William (another great guy like Kylin) and Krystal, she is also one of the best! Ordered some of the usual that we have tried and knew that it was good like the Honey walnut, crispy spicy chicken, fried rice with beef, udon noodles with beef, curly fries (menu needs to be updated to curly fries style 'cause the one in the menu is french fries). Some new ones we tried- Takoyaki (yumm!), mongolian beef (good one, too), pork soup dumplings (excellent!) Everything exceeded my expectations. We brought a great friend of mine, close to us and we wanted him to try, it too. Total was $105.33 (i love to tip the great servers here). I always bring my family members and friends here especially when there's occasion. They are very nice here, family atmosphere and food were all great! I will still continue to go here. Shrimp stir fry noodle - this iitem was forgotten with our order and came out after we were already full from the other entrees. We took it to go. Service loses a couple of stars because there were only 2 front of the house workers. All tables were full to provide responsive service, so it was clearly understaffed. Ambiance is simple and the space is packed with tables, so it will feel crowded. Unfortunately, our 4-chair table at the front window wobbled excessively. I had to apply pressure to the table top during the entire dining experience to prevent what felt like eating food on a roller coaster. It was very busy. There were 3 of us and we waited 40 minutes for a table. Right after being seated, we were immediately served iced water. Not too long after we placed our order. We ordered the brown sugar rice cake, pork soup dumpling, sui mai, green onion pancake, beef roll and wonton in chili oil. I loved loved loved the brown sugar rice cake. It wasn't too sweet. Had a light crisp and chewy texture. Even my hubby who is not a sweet tooth person liked it. All the dumplings started to show up at different times. Each one was delicious and the sauces that came with it, complimented each dish. Aside from the delicious food, the price was very reasonable. The service was great and attentive. Water glasses were always full. The place is not big, so the wait is sometimes needed. So I found this place on accident and I'm glad I did. I was thinking it was the place in nut tree I haven't tried yet. I gave my friend this address so once I realized I went. I was like wow didn't even know this was here lol. My friend for walnut shrimp and I got sesame chicken. She got the cheese wontons and I asked for dumpling soup, but the misheard and hit me the one with oil which I'm glad the did. They apologized for the mistake, but I said I wanted to keep it. I really liked the chewiness of the noodles though the pork was a bit tough. The second time I just got the wonton soup and it was perfect for a light bite. That time we ate inside the restaurant and had ordered an appetizer as well which was the beef roll. I had to ask about it twice and it finally came as we were finishing our main dish. The server said it was taking long because they only had one cook but multiple tables that were seated after us had all their dishes. It was just okay tasting and definitely not worth the price in my opinion. The restaurant is pretty cute but I think the bathroom needed some tidying up tbh. I was hoping it was wonton noodles but they use ramen noodles. The roast duck was pretty tasty. We got the spicy chili fried chicken and that was good, but pretty spicy. You can taste how the batter soaked up the peppercorn flavor. We also ordered mala spicy beef noodle soup which was good. It's very spicy though, 4/5 dish. I didn't really like XLBs that much. The flavor seemed a little off to me. It also comes with 6 and not the standard 8. The tonkotsu ramen is not really your Japanese tonkotsu ramen, flavor wise so just beware. We stopped at this place on our way from the Bay Area to Tahoe for a ski trip, just looking for a quick meal during the drive. We ordered dumplings along with a few other items. At first, everything seemed fine and we didn't think much about it. But after eating a couple of the dumplings, I noticed the wrapper inside was still doughy and not fully cooked. The skin was thick, and the inside texture was clearly undercooked. We brought this to the staff's attention, but they insisted the dumplings were fully cooked, which was frustrating and concerning. Unfortunately, later that evening both my husband and I started having stomach issues. I had diarrhea the entire next day and had to take medication, and my stomach remained uncomfortable for several days afterward. This wasn't just mild discomfort -- it really affected my health and our trip. Food safety and proper cooking should be the most basic standard for any restaurant.
