My husband and I came to Founding Fathers sports Bar and restaurant for a late night bite after massages at Serene Blu....inside "The Philadelphia Mills", which is the Old "Franklin Mills" Mall. I will review this other place soon! But onto the Founding Fathers sports bar and restaurant! Great service and very clean and delicious food, what more could anyone want...? Ohhhh. Decently priced meals, too. Affordable for every budget! The place was spotless clean and was full of Life and music! The DJ was Jammin many different genres of music and I felt the urge to get up and dance. The music was Great, something for everyone! We both ordered a cheesesteak and the sandwich came with a huge portion of crispy and delicious French fries. Our sandwiches came out hot off the grill and fresh. The flavor was great and plenty of cheese, but not overly oozing but not having dry spots either. We ordered a glass of water and a Diet Pepsi The French fries were in another persons review so I was very excited to try them, they are lightly seasoned but not doused and swimming in salt or garlic parm, but a Nice touch. Liz, our server was super nice and smiley. Her happy and pleasant demeanor was nice to see and she has been working here for a few years. We both met the manager, Azim and he was very nice and professional. It was nice to see managers making a table touch to check in with guests. We look forward to coming back soon! We also hope to plan our 30th High school reunion there. I was here yesterday with a large group of 17 for dinner. Founding Fathers is the newest life for this place which has been several other restaurants in the past. Overall, we had a good time. The restaurant at 7pm on a Monday had maybe four other patrons eating at the time. Very empty so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We had two waitresses working our group, and they competently handled all of our requests. It was nice that they handed multiple separate checks for each couple or family, and kept track of it by writing our names on their order sheets. My wife and I had two very good cocktails each. Two Philly Mules (a Moscow Mule with Midori for Eagles Green), and two Cannonballs which was a rum based drink with lime and pineapple. For food, the mozzarella sticks were nothing fancy or homemade but tasty, the Picnic Chicken sandwich was nicely fried and two good-sized patties. The fries that came with it was mountainous and they were in the style of McDonald's fries but not as good. My wife had a salmon Caesar salad, and really liked the dressing. The salmon was fine if not too overcooked. We also tried our friend's egg roll appetizer which was filled with a lot of meat. Again, probably not homemade but good. Another friend let us try one of his chicken wings and I really liked them. I don't remember what sauce was on them, but I could have had a lot. We were there for a couple of hours and the friendly staff kept up with everything. My main came out with the appetizers so I was done before everyone else was, but the conversation and company was nice. About $100 for four cocktails, one appetizer, and two mains. Tip was already included as we were a large party (but we were not informed of this so I almost double-tipped). Enjoyable experience. Lots of TVs on the walls with sports playing. read more

Cheesesteaks eggrolls were ok. Not great. Chicken tenders were good. My husband's burger was raw and my son's steak was very rare. Not as ordered at all. Our waitress disappeared for a long time so by the time we asked the host to find her for us, we were ready to leave. She offered to replace the meals but we said no. Thankfully the manager took care of it. We also left just before trivia started and thankful that we did because the music was setup right next to our table and was very loud. The place was nearly empty but it still took 15 mins for 8 people to be seated Drink orders were taken but numerous things were forgotten The continental breakfast was part of the cost and advertised to be an "exquisite brunch buffet!" but the buffet table was nearly empty...advertised to have fruit, muffins, bagels, salad ,toast and flat breads and there was barely a few bagels and muffins Food came out cold and undercooked, 1 out of 8 people ate their food. Service was poor and inattentive, Server was overheard complaining about the party to the bartender and became upset when asked about the empty buffet. Alan & Asim are so accommodating getting on my game, etc. People here are very friendly & since I'm a vegetarian my go to food is the delicious pretzels with beer cheese. Baked potatoe loaded with butter, sour cream & chives & mac & cheese. My hubby enjoys the salmon salad or wings & his IPA beer. There was a mountain of chicken! I did appreciate how the toppings were layered but it was an overwhelming amount of chicken compared to the amount of chips. Most recently we chose FF for a luncheon following my mother's funeral. I could easily give 10/5 stars! So difficult to plan during such a time...but Melissa, Lisa, and every single staff member made both the planning and execution of the luncheon easy and memorable. Our guests were still talking about the food days after the event. Our guests also commented on the efficiency and kindness of the staff as they navigated a crowded room that included great-grandchildren underfoot. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!! So today our waitress was Taya she was super nice and very attentive to our needs. We ordered the founding fathers sauce on our wings. The flavor is a cross between BBQ and mustard with a hint of hot sauce. The BBQ wings by themselves are delicious. We also had the pretzel nuggets with cheese. The pretzels were warm and soft inside with a slightly crunchy exterior. Beer special for $3 over all the place nice. So this review is long overdue and I contemplated it as I have had a food here before and it was perfection. But not the second time around when I brought my family and a few friends after raving about the food. I was met with a Filet over cooked and tough when I asked for it medium rare and a manager who was to busy to talk to anyone who had a mishap with their food. That right there was just a slap in the face as a customer (your to busy to see what the problem is???) especially because it was early dinner and the place was not busy as all, so to me I guess a lot of mistakes were made in the kitchen that day. I legit sat there and ate my appetizer without taking a bite of the steak after cutting it or its mashed potatoes. The waitress had the nerve to ask if I wanted it wrapped up, my response was " oh I'm not paying for this at all " (if it was even on the bill I was gonna leave out the difference because it's not what I ordered). The waitress later came back after saying my comment to the manager and said the manager said they'll take it off (there was no other choice when a customer tells you straight forward that they're not paying for this garbage). I left still hungry and disappointed in a business that's not doing well to begin with so add poor management and I'm sure we'll see another name change or new owners sign in no time as it's been for years with this establishment. Writing this while sitting at the table for our food... we've been waiting for quite some time now. We were seated right away in the so called "quiet section". Obviously this place is far more concerned about the 65 and over night club that they host on Friday night. Drink service was attentive and prompt but the food was very sub par (which someone told us as we were walking in). I had an order of chipotle shrimp (fried) which were soggy and Luke warm at best. I had a Caesar salad with filet tips on it and the salad was ok but the filet tips were dry and way over seasoned. The gentleman sitting next to me had only ordered a loaded baked potato. I was dry and obviously over cooked with many of the toppings either missing or lacking. My wife had an order of mashed potatoes with her meal and they were very watery and lumpy. Atmosphere was ok but as far as places in Bensalem are concerned you can definitely do better. Wouldn't return to eat but would consider stopping in for a drink. read more

I went there Sunday for the first time since the change of ownership. I was quite impressed with the layout and the spacious separation of the tables . did not have to wait long for the server to come and take our order. I and my buddy got a small order of wings and I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and my friend ordered a cheeseburger, and when the food came out it was so still hot right from the kitchen. The quality of the food was good and there's no skipping of the meat in the sandwich. Also, the pricing in the food was very reasonable. I highly recommend this establishment if you're a sports fan because no matter where you sit you're staring right at the television. read more
