The food here was surprisingly really good. It definitely has a dive bar kind of setting, but it's right near the casinos and local to other cool shops on street road. Service was kind of slo.

I was here yesterday with a large group of 17 for dinner. Founding Fathers is the newest life for this place which has been several other restaurants in the past. Overall, we had a good time. The restaurant at 7pm on a Monday had maybe four other patrons eating at the time. Very empty so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. We had two waitresses working our group, and they competently handled all of our requests. It was nice that they handed multiple separate checks for each couple or family, and kept track of it by writing our names on their order sheets. My wife and I had two very good cocktails each. Two Philly Mules (a Moscow Mule with Midori for Eagles Green), and two Cannonballs which was a rum based drink with lime and pineapple. For food, the mozzarella sticks were nothing fancy or homemade but tasty, the Picnic Chicken sandwich was nicely fried and two good-sized patties. The fries that came with it was mountainous and they were in the style of McDonald's fries but not as good. My wife had a salmon Caesar salad, and really liked the dressing. The salmon was fine if not too overcooked. We also tried our friend's egg roll appetizer which was filled with a lot of meat. Again, probably not homemade but good. Another friend let us try one of his chicken wings and I really liked them. I don't remember what sauce was on them, but I could have had a lot. We were there for a couple of hours and the friendly staff kept up with everything. My main came out with the appetizers so I was done before everyone else was, but the conversation and company was nice. About $100 for four cocktails, one appetizer, and two mains. Tip was already included as we were a large party (but we were not informed of this so I almost double-tipped). Enjoyable experience. Lots of TVs on the walls with sports playing.

Come here every Saturday after work. Tyler is the best. Super friendly and funny. Very fun atmosphere

Came here after a very long day. Made a reservation with open table. It didn't matter. Got there and was told it's a half hour wait. Asked if we could order fries for the kids from the bar while we waited as they hadn't eaten in hours. The manager was very nice and brought us fries no charge while we waited. Service was good despite being pretty busy and having one of those tables that complained about everything right behind us. I had the founders burger. It was decent, and came out medium like I ordered. 2 adults and 2 kids and the bill was $60. Not bad.

Tyler's the best bartender, he makes the experience very fun and welcoming (his dance moves are a plus) !!!! will be back for sure!!

My wife just came home from her mothers day brunch with her family... The place was nearly empty but it still took 15 mins for 8 people to be seated Drink orders were taken but numerous things were forgotten The continental breakfast was part of the cost and advertised to be an "exquisite brunch buffet!" but the buffet table was nearly empty...advertised to have fruit, muffins, bagels, salad ,toast and flat breads and there was barely a few bagels and muffins Food came out cold and undercooked, 1 out of 8 people ate their food. Service was poor and inattentive, Server was overheard complaining about the party to the bartender and became upset when asked about the empty buffet. Considering some ladies drove over an hour to get together and were treated so poorly this is extremely disappointing.

    Wings were nice and crispy!

The service was very good and the food was good as well. The cake and the bread pudding were a bit dry. Overall a good experience.

Luncheon to honor the passing of a veteran.

Funeral luncheon was held here. Excellent food and wonderful staff. Thank you all for enabling us to celebrate our father's passing in a special way.

We had Cowboys candy shrimp for an appetizer which was on the sweet side and still was delicious, like hot honey drizzle. I had the lentil burger with fried pickles. Sloppy and delicious, so be ready to get dirty! My husband had the linguine Pescatora, which had shrimp, mussels, and scallops. He said it was outstanding and he's a chef! It could have used a little fresh lemon, but still delicious! We also had two house beers. This New Jersey couple will be back! Oh, by the way, the place we decorated very nicely and the bathrooms were super clean and had great soap! It smelled wonderful!

I didn't have the pleasure of visiting Dog & Bull before it was renovated, but I visited last night and can't wait to return. My friend and I made a reservation for 5:30 PM (just in case) as we read online that reservations were recommended, but I don't actually think one was needed. When you walk in, it's bright and inviting. The garage doors throughout the property provide a ton of natural light. I can only imagine how lovely it is when they're open in the summer. Additionally, the outside has a nice patio and an area with a fire pit. The restaurant's layout was designed wonderfully! Our server was Alex (Alexandria) and she was the epitome of exceptional service. She checked in on us multiple times and always had a smile on her face when she came over. We really appreciated having her. The baked feta and hummus appetizer was just as delicious as it looks in the photo. The thick pieces of garlic, roasted red peppers, olives, cucumbers and pita bread triangles paired so nicely with the feta. The hummus was warmed up and it looked like the kitchen staff may have torched the top of it. It was phenomenal. Boy do I have notes on the lentil burger - it was 10/10!! I'm not a big bean person and even though this burger had beans in it, it somehow tasted like an actual beef burger. Sounds crazy, I know, but trust and believe it was pure excellence. I added cheddar for an additional charge and upgraded my regular fries to garlic parm fries. Finally, the caramel apple bread pudding... oh my oh my! What a DELIGHT. The top was piled high with a big scoop of frosting. Yes, you read that right. Frosting! Not ice cream! You can taste the apple pieces in the bread pudding. My friend and I wanted to order it twice. It was THAT good. It was easy to make my way to Dog & Bull from Center City thanks to the Septa station located directly behind the restaurant. Street parking also wasn't too bad yesterday. I absolutely loved the experience I had here and will be stopping by again this summer! Thanks, Dog & Bull!

Decent food for great value., I'd say a solid three for food, but given the portion, price, and…read moreservice, I give four. Loaded tater tots - tossed/coated with cheese and real bacon bits, instead of just a ladle of cheese on top. Cheesesteak eggrolls - Three large egg rolls cut into halves. Loaded with beef, but I don't think there was quite enough cheese. The spicy ketchup was good. Basil chicken (white wine sauce) with diced tomatoes and angel hair - not the most flavorful, but it could just be the nature of the dish. The chicken tasted freshly prepared. Sometimes it can taste nuked in some other restaurants. I used a spritz of lemon. I took leftovers home and put pecorino romano cheese. Cheese was the key missing ingredient for me. This was a very large portion for less than $19, so I think the meal was worth it. It also comes with soup and garlic bread/dinner rolls. The wedding soup was very very hearty and full of meatballs. I'm used to getting like three or four pieces. Not sure if there was an upcharge (I forgot to look), but even if there was it would have been worth it. Burger and fries - also huge portion and worth the price. It might not be the best, but for what they are charging I think it is very fair. These definitely taste like frozen fries, so do not expect too much. Service and staff were very friendly, despite what some reviews had mentioned.

I could tell by the parking lot. The parking lot was rather small so it can get crowded quickly. I suggest making a reservation and getting their a little early to account for parking. As soon as we walked into the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess who was very friendly. She kindly took us to our table. Soon after our waitress came and explained the menu and took our drink and food orders. She was very kind, and attentive. For drinks we ordered prosecco, and a tequila sunrise. Both of the drinks were delicious and refreshing. The tequila sunrise was very balanced and had a good flavor. For food I ordered the seafood gumbo. The gumbo was okay. Could have used more flavor and seafood. My friends ordered the salad and lobster bisque which they enjoyed. The ambiance was nice as all Blue Sundays are decorated eloquently and classy. They were playing R&B music and the right volume so you can still have conversations with your party. Overall, it was a a great experience. I think I prefer the locations in Maryland more but it was still a great time. Cheers!
