Really cool place! We took advantage of the "date night" special where u get an appetizer, 2 meals and 20 tokens for $34. The wings were amazing- freshly cooked and huge! Went out to celebrate my birthday here. It was my first time going and overall, it was a pretty fun time! I'd definitely go back with a larger group to enjoy a night out. Our server, Savannah K, was super informative whenever I asked about something. Having worked in the server industry, I appreciated this so much. She had everything down as far as the games, how much the tokens cost, how many tokens per game, table times, etc. She also gave great recommendations for the food when I asked! (Nachos and tots were on point!) It wasn't overly crowded, which was also nice. Our server definitely gets a 5 star review from me. The only reason this review is getting a 4 is because of 2 more minor thing. One being the temperate in there. It was 77°. As soon as we sat down, we were sweating. It's July in Ohio at a place where are moving around, playing games. I was so uncomfortable the whole time, especially once we started playing skeeball and bowling. The second minor issue was the bowling. The balls repeatedly got stuck. At one point, neither my lane or the lane attached to mine had any to use. They all got stuck in the back. It just got to be irritating to have to keep notifying someone to get them. Other than those more minor issues, it was a fun, enjoyable place that Medina definitely needed!!! Absolutely, a fun place to go but DO NOT bring your kids. There are NO activites for younger children. So we also made a reservation tonight, and our table had people sitting there even though there was a reserve sign. Then the person's whose birthday it was had to BUS THE TABLE. After we cleaned our own table, we sat there for like 15 minutes trying to figure out if we needed to go some place to make an order or if we needed to wait for a waiter. Finally a waitress showed up and took our orders. Now I'm not too sure if they were under staffed, or what, but we literally waiting 30-40 minutes for APPETIZERS. Apps people!! And then we needed to wait and additional 20 or so minutes for our drinks because we ASKED ABOUT THEM AGAIN!!! Our food orders were also brought out by a different person who had no idea what food went where so it left us guess whose was whose. The food is fresh, innovative, and delicious. There are fun activities. But WOW, they need to work on their quality of service and management of orders. Its was way too all over the place. read more

Cool idea and the place was packed. It took forever to get a drink from a server so we tried going to the bar. Line didn't move. Bartender seemed unorganized and inexperienced. Also very disappointed that more than half of the arcade games were out of order. The "arena" wall consisted of only 3 consoles and there was an hour wait for go karts. I'd say go hang out and drink while you wait for games to be available but you better order two at a time. read more

Venue is engaging but service and staff are disorganized and unprofessional. I spent $1,000 on a private party and when I showed up they told me they didn't have my reservation, so I had to show them all my email records to get them to give me the room I rented. Then I was told the tokens I paid for wouldn't be given to me for my guests, and then when I paid to reserve 2 duck bowling lanes they told me they weren't ready and we'd have to wait. In planning the event, Rachel and Carli routinely took several days to respond to questions, although when they did finally answer their responses were helpful. Throughout the evening I saw other guests who walked in for a random night of fun be told they couldn't get tokens for games because they ran out, and attendants made no effort to help or assist customers to offer alternatives. Shuffleboard reservations were on a 4 hour wait. I was told during booking that the bar tab limit I set in advance was included in the total quote price they gave me and that also wasn't true, since they handed me a separate bill for $250 at the end of the night. They did refund me some of my costs which was a nice touch but ultimately this doesn't appear to be a good place for walk-in guests, based on how they addressed them, and I definitely don't recommend booking events there from my personal experience. For $1,000 almost we could have gotten better service with a way more professional and organized staff. Our server Dominic was the one good attendant we got for the night, at least he kept up with us. read more

It just opened, and people are slowly becoming efficient at their jobs. After a quick spin around the block with High Voltage, and beating Brian (Hi Brian), I visited the bar, restaurant, bowling alley, arcade. Not really sure how to classify this place, since it has many many strengths. First the food. I have tried several items off the menu, but if you are looking for a recommendation, get the pig wings. They are succulent, full of deep flavor, and the meat falls off the bone as they are cooked to perfection. I know it's just an appetizer, but these will definitely fill you up. 4 is a meal. Next the drinks. They have something completely different called a beer cocktail. They take a raspberry beer, and mix a chocolate beer with it. I'm not sure what it's called, but it sounded good, and tasted even better! Maybe they called it a chocolate covered raspberry? Video games? Yes. They have all of the good ones, including Donkey Kong and Gallaga. Pool table, corn hole, shuffleboard, duck pin bowling, ping pong, bocci, and I know I am missing a few other activities. Only things they are missing are darts and Kubb. read more

The games were so much fun, from the video games to the table games, and especially the duck pin bowling! We had a blast!! We also had dinner, and the food was very good and reasonably priced. We had a reservation at the foundry at 6:00pm. We told the hostess that we had never been there before and we weren't sure what to do. She said enjoy yourself and let your waitress know if you need anything. Went over to high voltage and ran a race and headed to the bar to grab a drink (which is visible from the hostess stand). Took about 45 minutes to do this. We came back to our table and it had been given to someone else. Went to the hostess stand to ask why. They were very rude and said we assumed you left. They were not helpful and would not give us another table inside. I made a reservation for 2 and a 1/2 hours so not sure why they assumed we left. All they had to do was look over to the bar to see us or call the phone number on the reservation. The only reason I gave one star was because the manager was going to try to fix the situation but my husband was so upset about the way we were spoken to he did not want to stay. We were there for our anniversary and also to check it out to see about doing a birthday party there next month. Will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone. read more

I was so excited for The Foundry Social to open. My husband and I stopped in one afternoon to check it out. They had just opened and were not serving food yet. We were very impressed. We went back a few weeks later. I was happy to see that it was very crowded. That being said we did not have any trouble parking, nor did we mind walking through the warehouse. We actually thought it was pretty cool. Although, there were people smoking in the warehouse! We went to the bar to get a few drinks. We did not have a problem, but many of our friends have said they had to wait quite a while for their drinks. We decided to play a game of bowling. I could not believe how expensive it was. Needless to say we will not be bowling again. We walked to our lane and there were people and their food and their coats on the tables and the couches. They were not bowling! We had to get a bar stool to set our drinks on. Then, my biggest pet peeve, the kids! There were kids running around the establishment unsupervised! Parents are clearly using the facility as a babysitter. There needs to be a rule where there are NO kids allowed after a certain hour, like 8:00. I had enough, so I asked an employee to ask the people to move their things. He did, and they did slowly move their things. This was clearly a problem throughout. After bowling we looked for a seat. Of course, there weren't any! Most of the tables had a reserved sign on them. So, we finished our drinks and left. I really wanted this to be a place where we could go and have some fun. I do realize that you just opened and are trying to work out the kinks. It sounds like you are taking the constructive feedback to heart. I do hope that things change. I just read an article stating that Franklin Brewing will not be opening? I also read about MAD Brewing. Cool idea, but that space could have been used for another bar! read more

Atmosphere was awesome!! BUT bar service was sad. Bartenders seemed to hate being there. We asked twice to order and both times were ignored. Ordered food which came quickly but was told they didn't have rolls (even though it says on the menu they come with the salad) and my salad had no dressing on it. read more

Yesterday was my first time visiting Foundry Social and it is an awesome establishment! The staff was friendly and helpful! The food was delicious! My favorite part was participating in such a wide variety of games!! I bowled, learned how to play bocce ball, and enjoyed skee ball! My husband played nostalgic arcade games! Family friendly but also fun for adults to hang out & enjoy top notch specialty drinks! Also great for celebrating special events, such as birthdays, etc. I look forward to our next visit! read more

I like the concept, layout and atmosphere, all very nice. I think overall The Foundry is a perfect fit for Medina. I've been there twice, sat at the bar each time. My 1st Bartender was Nicolas (I think). He was an excellent bar tender and also made a decent drink. The menu was a bit disappointing, there was just not much to it. I also thought I was getting a beef brisket sandwich and it was, but ground up into a burger. It was a decent burger, fries were ok. My wife liked the coleslaw. Went there a second time, sat at the bar, had a lady bartender that made a good drink, service was a bit slow and I could tell she was a bit overwhelmed and it wasn't really even that busy. We got there around 5pm Sunday over the MLK weekend. It was however noticeably busier when we left, say an hour later. Anyway, my biggest complaint is that my meatloaf sliders were served to me cold. They were ok, but they would have tasted better if they weren't so cold. My wife's chicken sandwich was room temp to lukewarm at best, but her fries were also cold and the thinly sliced onions were nearly frozen. It was like my meatloaf sliders just came out of a very cold refrigerator. The cheese soup sauce was very good but I couldn't even enjoy it because it was so very, very cold. Anyway, looks like The Foundry is working through a lot of kinks being a new place. I do hope there is work done on the menu; it needs more than just tweaked and maybe install some heat warming lights in the kitchen where orders come up. read more
