The restaurant changes this art frame when season changes

Plain & simple, the cashier who happen to answer my call eventually just hung up on me. Rude staff! Highly disappointed and I had high regards of this restaurant for a long time and things rapidly changed just right now at approximately 5:26pm 6-29-26! I hope the owner finds out who this rude worker is and teach her some manners! I will see to it that I no longer return!

We waited a few minutes for them to open at noon. I was going to have a salad. And they had 4 choices plus a build your own. But the Brisket bowl looked so good that my friend and I each had that! It came with brisket, brussels sprouts, cole slaw & mac & cheese. Every part was delicious! The brisket was SO flavorful! Since we were celebrating my birthday I was talked into getting a salted chocolate chip cookie that was amazing! I'll return.

Eagle Rock itself is pretty chill and quiet. In my opinion, Four Cafe captures this essence well. It's never too busy and there's seating outdoor and indoors. I got the grilled salmon plate but in my opinion the star of the show here was the grilled zucchini. The picked onions were a refreshing bite and paired well with the salmon. The rice wasn't my favorite but the overall experience was great if you're looking for a quiet place to catch up with friends or coworkers.

This is my first visit to this establishment. Didn't really know what to expect. When you get greeted as you entered it's a for sure good sign. Ordered a BBQ Chickpea Salad with Chicken and a bowl of Spiced Red Lentil Soup. On a cold day like today it was a perfect combo. Let's just say I really enjoyed both and sent me off with a smile. Even got a cookie for good behavior, thank you Richard you are the man. Can't wait to come back This place really proves that you don't have to starve to get healthy.

Looking for salad and this what popped up in Eagle Rock area. Salad itself is $13 and if you add protein additional $4-6. Salad is a lot and I added salmon. Salmon was grilled but it taste burnt and under seasoned. However I still enjoyed it. Also, tried the chicken sandwich it was really good. I like soup the chicken tortilla soup, it has little kick of spice. Street parking only.

The number four may be in its name but it's a 10 out of 10 in my book. Nice relaxing cafe that has good food and chill vibes. Come here around lunch time before 12:30pm on the weekend to beat the rush. Go to dishes are the chicken panini and chicken tortilla soup. Fresh tasting, big portions and great service. Did I mention their baked sweets are great? Guess I just did. Cheers.

The service is quick and amicable as well. Not too expensive either. I really enjoy their salads especially! I ordered the Julia's Tuna salad, which was super tasty. I recommend ordering the dressing on the side, since the tuna is already pretty salty. The eggs are jammy and the greens are the perfect pairing. Their tomatoes are also especially sweet. I have also tried the Lorri sandwich, which uses an eggplant cutlet to imitate meat. The balsamic flavor is pretty heavy on that one, since the tomatoes really soak up the sweetness. Definitely tasty! Pretty messy sandwich to eat though, especially with the broccolini. Overall, highly recommend trying Ggiata's out. Casual sit down place, perfect for date night or a casual catch up. I saw that the fried arancini is pretty popular, as well as their fried eggplant so maybe I'll try that next time. Super cute interior design too.

The breakfast burrito was fine. The hash brown inside was kind of soggy and had large bits of onion that didn't taste very cooked. I'm kind of disappointed. It was getting late, so while I waited for the kid in the car at their activity, I went on The Heights website found an order form and placed an order for some sammies all in 5 minutes. I didn't even ask the hubs or the vegetarian kid what they wanted. I went with what I thought they'd like. 15-minutes later, I was picking the sandwiches up at the walk-in only shop. There was no line and better yet, they were wrapped up and ready to go when I walked in. The smiling lady asked if I wanted napkins or utensils. They have case after case of cold drinks so we picked out a couple of drinks, paid for those and left. It was easy and fast. Enjoyed the yumminess at home. I normally would save a half for another meal but my "Pasadena" hit the spot that I finished it up all at once. Quality bread, meats, cheese, fillings aka all the ingredients...to boot! PS the kid loved theirs and so did the hub. Thanks for making dinner: easy and delicious! There are no pictures because it was too delicious to take the time out and take any. Just order.

This "sandwich speakeasy" is tucked in the back room of a Highland Park liquor store, but the ambitious deli lineup includes some of the city's best sandwiches. Outside, you'll see a worn neon sign reading "Coldest Beer in Town". Walk through the slightly worn beverage displays, past stacked cases of Liquid Death, industrial fridges of local IPAs, and ceiling-high shelves of liquor and spirits, to the cramped sandwich operation in the back. A letterboard menu is organized on the off-white plaster wall, underneath a neon sign depicting the red cartoon table logo. Additional sandwich specials are doodled onto a tiny chalkboard behind the checkout counter. Maroon metal patio furniture is organized underneath sweeping umbrellas along the muraled brick exterior out front. The best of the sandwiches are total bops. The "Jeff's Special" Reuben features the perfect ratio of uber-rich cheese, melt-in-your-mouth pastrami, and panini-pressed rye; I only wish the meat itself packed some more seasoning. The Dirty Baby was just as satisfying. The decadent one-two punch of gouda and turkey salad more closely resembled a hearty bolognese than a deli sandwich. The thick-cut challah admirably withstood the 20-minute drive home. Other items were less memorable. The Hainan-Style Turkey Salad was slapped onto a dull hamburger bun-esque roll. While I enjoyed the diverse crispy textures, from the fried garlic to the arugula to the cucumber, the turkey salad itself was mostly flavorless. Similarly, the Thai Peanut Mac Salad was exciting in texture but plain in taste -- the celery was more prominent than the green curry aioli. The service was extra friendly, and the sandwiches run $15-16 each, relatively affordable by LA standards. While some of the sandwiches could compete for the title of best in LA, other dishes were duds. I won't go out of my way to schedule a visit during Jeff's Table's limited lunch hours, but I would certainly pay them a return visit if I'm already in the neighborhood.
