I've never had a bad meal here! Their salmon is delicious, and I absolutely love the chicken Mozambique. Their food is always fresh and well prepared. This restaurant is definitely a promising place. It was a great day with outdoor seating enjoying a very nice Caesar salad with salmon. The first thing I really enjoyed was the dressing! It's difficult to find real dressing and I would be surprised if it wasn't homemade. The salmon was good and light, nothing over the top special but a healthy choice. The issue I had which was noticeable throughout the dining area, was the lack of service. I was disappointed in this very much. Maybe it was understaffed or there could be an issue due to lack of training. Typically this makes me question places because service is super important and to dine out is a luxury. I shouldn't be searching for a drink or to order my meal with very long delays. Also, there was no checking in to see if we needed anything and that is a problem for me too. If I could have rated it a 3.5 I would have but I will be an optimist and try it another time. It was a little busy but not enough to see there being an issue. read more

Ate here about a month ago with a friend and had a good time eating outside on the deck. Decided to take my husband here. Big mistake. My food was ok, nothing to write home about. My husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger. They bring him a mushroom swiss burger. Ok, so we send it back for the correct order, no biggie. Out comes the "bacon cheeseburger" - all they did was wipe off the mushrooms and put it on a roll instead of grilled bread. How do I know it was the same burger? The original one was cut in 1/2 and so was the second on a bun that was not cut in half. No lettuce, no tomato as it was suppose to have and now ice cold french fries. I get it that you don't want to take the hit on an error for an order, but if you make a mistake it should be corrected the right way. I found this a bit shady. Makes me wonder how many other things they cut corners on. Left a bad taste in both our mouths, for him literally. Too many other places out there to eat so will not be back. Too bad it seemed promising the first time. Now we know why we have driven by it so many times and they never looked busy. read more

Amazing breakfast spot! I am a Crab Cake Eggs Benedict snob and these were some of the best. The eggs were perfectly poached, the English muffin was buttered, and it was all swimming in hollandaise sauce. The choice of links and patties was also clutch! Top notch! Terrible tasting meat loaf & shepherds pie has no meat & way too many peas. They brown a little hamburg put some in carrots a ton of peas, throw some mash potatoes & gravy put it in a casserole whala. That's not shepherds pie. Make it correctly!!!!! I don't usually do this but feel it is necessary after my experience here yesterday. When my husband and two kids walked in yesterday it was not busy at all. We were seated right away. It started to fill up quickly after we were seated. We placed our order which included mozzarella sticks and sandwiches. Pretty easy and quick choices. The mozzarella sticks were out quickly after. We then waited and waited and waited for the rest of our food. After 30 minutes we started to notice other people getting there food who came in well after us. My husband went up to the desk to check on our food and everyone looked at him like he was crazy and gave no answer. He sat back down. The waitress finally came over but not to apologize, just to make ridiculous excuses and blame the other girl who brought the appetizer out. Still no apology. Now after waiting over 40 minutes the waitress still does not apologize it says if the food is not out in 5 minutes she will take the kids meals off the bill. Still no apology! We waited another 15 minutes and decided to leave. We did ask one more time before leaving and the waitress said she was ready to kill herself. Still NO apology! Very disappointed and will not be returning. We went up the street to the Black Goose where we placed our order and waited 10 minutes to get it. read more

The Four Corners Grille is the type of restaurant you hope to find on a country ride, but rarely do. It's consistently better-than-good. The interior is cozy/casual- think English pub-Vermont country Inn, not overdone, just simple. It's not a huge place, so if you're going on a weekend night, go a bit early. In the summer, they open up a nice patio for outdoor dining. The service is consistently friendly, and the menu has something to please everyone - tending toward comfort food and standards, but always with a bit of innovation. It's the sort of place a foodie could bring his/her grandmother, and everyone would be happy. They have good specials (with prices posted on the board--hooray!! no pricey surprises). Their sandwiches are served on good bread, they make homemade chips, but you can also get a generous side of celery and carrot sticks (fresh, not dried out) if you're diet-conscious. Some favorite sandwiches are the portobello, tomato reuben (try it!), and very good tuna (not that gicky dark mayo paste so many restaurants try to pass off on the unsuspecting.) Dinner entrees, particularly seafood, consistently good to excellent. The only disappointing dish I've ever had was the pasta primavera - of course, it wasn't spring when I ordered it (primavera....) but the veggies were uninspired (green peppers....?). But that's the only so-so dish I've had at Four Corners. Everything else (and I've probably been about 30 times) has been above average to great. Hint: bring a sweater in the summer. I went for breakfast with the family - 2 adults/2children on Sunday morning and I will NEVER go back! The service was SO Slow - we were there for over 90 minutes (not by choice) and even people sitting around us - tables of 2 - were so aggravated by the delay of service for breakfast they were not happy. People were sending their food back and leaving full plates of food even before we got ours. When we got ours, I know why - corned beef hash was literally from a can as well as the "brown beans". It was horrible. The toast wasn't toasted at all, eggs were burnt and the pancakes needed to be cut with a serrated knife - gummy/chewy not fluffy at all. It was absolutely a waste of my Sunday morning, money, and time! Will never go back. I heard they have new owners but it was just gross! read more
