Visited FCG for a late dinner on Sunday, August 5th. This was, for a long time, the family "go-to" spot in this area. Not sure what happened this night - perhaps a long and bustling weekend, but it was tremendously off the mark. Fried clams and scallop combo was carrying a premium price, but was an embarrassment on the plate. How could the chief (more like short order cook) actually plate thus? The salad had at least two mushrooms (not slices, but two whole mushrooms sliced) on it - making it very unappetizing. One of two Fish and Chips had fish scraps that were hard as rocks. Later that evening, I was awoken by a very bad case of hot burn and reflux from the poorly prepared fried food. Unpleasant to say the least. It's one of the only restaurants in this area, but I would highly recommend anyone on a weekend drive pass on by until consistently good reviews return. And this is from a 15 year area resident. We have been coming to Four Corners for years. It has been a Very Good place for a casual dinner. In 2020, because of COVID, we have been trying to support our local establishments by ordering take out. Four Corners Grille has really stepped up their game. One of my recent favorites has been the Seafood Sauté. It is a seafood Alfredo pasta dish that does not skimp on the seafood. Always consistent. Most recently, this restaurant has started offering pizza on the specials menu. We have only tried it once, but it was one of the BEST pizzas we have had within MILES. Excellent crust, delicious toppings and a charred crust. I hope this offering continues to be consistent. read more

What do I say? How do I say it? There were good parts and not so great parts about our experience here. I'll just go through them: Good: *I love the fries, they have those beer battered fries, and that melts my heart (and arteries). *The vegetables were delicious on both plates *The portions were decent *They had an extremely good vegetarian selection *It was quiet Bad: *My mother couldn't decided what to get, so asked the waitress "What should I get?"...she gets the response "Well, I don't know. I only know what I like, not what you like" *That last response put us off, and I'm not asking any waitress to be perky per se, I'm just asking for politeness and perhaps a smile every once in a while. I would say we barely got the politeness, but we never got the smile. *My mother ended up with the "Baked Scrod special" which she insists had too much ritz crackers on top, so she ended up scraping most of them off. *My veggie burger came with peppers and onions on top(I omitted the mushrooms). And I don't know...I just don't see how you can already eat a somewhat dry veggie burger with all that on top with no condiments. I ended scraping them off and putting salt and pepper on them and eating them that way. That was tasty. *The music was new age TERRIBLE. So because it wasn't terrible and it wasn't great either, I gave it three stars. I won't be running out to eat there again, but I won't NOT go there either. read more

This was a pleasant surprise! We are from out of town and we're heading to our Airbnb and found this place as the closest place and we were happy! The place is small and is a little hot. However the serving staff was great and very attentive! We came for dinner and they had a great menu for all ages! The seafood was amazing!!! The clam chowder was to die for and I had people in my party order the lobster roll and were pleasantly surprised! Fresh and just the right about of sauce! We wanted something new for breakfast. This place not only delivered but exceeded!!!!! At first my husband noticed the menu wasn't huge. I was quick to point out that it was a good sign because 1. They serve breakfast staples 2. There were a lot of specials and 3. If you make the food well... there's no need to have a huge menue. They nailed all the pieces on the head with perfection!!!!! Driving by you see this quaint, off the side of the road, little local restaurant so you think why not stop...walk in, most tables were filled, our option presented to us was either the small 2 seater against the wall in between other customers or the other small 2 seater at the wait staff entry. While sotting at our 2 seater, the local couple that walked in after us, seated at the other 2 seater had their drinks and were granted the option to move to the now open booth, meanwhile, still no water. Ok, so time goes by, we get to place our order and drinks- but look- those people just got served their food, already! No kidding- why we didn't walk out after 30 mins of not getting served is beyond me now that I write this- I get up to use the restroom and noticeably am told our food is coming- get back to the table- sadly disappointed yet again- not very long into the meal the food is cold(did it just sit before being served? If you or anyone in your party has a food allergy, DO NOT GO HERE!! I live close by and have gone here for years. In the last 4-5 years they are unable to accommodate anyone with shellfish or gluten allergies. There is nothing on the menu that's not cross contaminated according to multiple waitstaff. We are new Tivertonians and this is the closest restaurant to our house, so we headed there last night. Wow, I was very impressed! Nice variety on the menu. We had a bottle of wine, coconut shrimp, chicken parm and seafood saute, both with pasta. I asked for less sauce on the seafood saute and my request was accommodated perfectly. The linguine was al dente, not overdone at all. Their dessert case was tempting so we had pie to go, and it was a treat! Very nice waitress, quick service. The one star is for the waitress. She was so sweet and tried to do everything possible to try and rectify the situation. 3 of us ordered sandwiches and all was horrible, skimpy and greasy. The lobster bisque soup was so full of cream and butter that it was separating while my husband was eating it.. yuck!! I ordered a burger medium well, came out medium, sent it back only to have it come out 2 minutes later. Still medium, looked like they just washed the grease off the old plate and brought it out. The waitress wanted to send it back again but I said no. If the cook cannot get it right the SECOND time it was never going to happen. Fast forward to middle of the night, 2 of us were sick as a dog and didn't even eat the same thing. The outdoor patio looked lovely and again staff was really nice but the food, left a lot to be desired. I am never one to write a review but had to. We are from out of town and specifically came here for lunch to order our favorite soup (Lobster Bisque). The food was delicious but the wait time for our order took awhile. The decor in the restaurant is old and seems a bit run down but the food was well worth the price! Iced coffee and tea both very good. Hot chocolate was less than mediocre , from a packet and watery. The food was delicious. French fries were a huge hit! The apple turkey melt was really good, the tuna melt was different and also very good. The Philly cheese, even ordered plain, although not hugely flavorful it was good. Menu has a little of everything - had the steak sandwich (which was damn tasty) and the wife tried the Haddock special (Portuguese style w/ Chorizo and tomatoes.) She LOVED the potato pancake side (which were like grilled mashed potato cakes.) Staff was friendly - place was clean (and somewhat small.) Four Corners Grille is a nice place for lunch with a small but reasonably diverse menu and a handful of daily specials. I have been here twice and sampled the Waldorf Chicken Salad, Mozzarella Sticks, and Pulled Pork and Cheddar Sandwich (on special). The food is pretty average as are the portion sizes but I wouldn't say that this place was a disappointment at all. The Mozzarella Sticks were a bit pricey for the portion but they were thick and the breading was just a little different from the standard frozen kind. The marinara sauce was a little on the sweet side and had little bits of chopped carrot in it. The Pulled Pork sandwich was good, but my boyfriend is a true BBQ fan and he found it a bit flat. Out of everything I've had here the Waldorf Chicken Salad was the winner. The salad was huge, with a good size ball of willow tree chicken salad in the middle, a nice grape bunch on the side, and other goodies like nuts that surrounded the outside of the plate. I liked that I could essentially customize the salad and control how many grapes I wanted in it and if I wanted to slice them or keep them whole, etc. The parking lot is extremely small and even when the restaurant is barely full it can be hard to find parking. The Four Corners area is a great place to explore with the family or a significant other during the afternoon because they have everything from little trinket shops to a great cheese shop, ice cream, and even a farmer's market across the street on the weekend. I hadn't been so hungover in like... years. I keep forgetting I am not in college anymore. So when my dad so kindly asked if I wanted to go out to lunch, which normally I would be pumped and honored to, It felt like my death was becoming drawn out. The thought of food was just not okay. We pulled up to 4 Corners Grille, and thankfully they have a great outdoor seating area. It was relaxing, and felt like you were in your own backyard. That being said, there wasn't much ambience or atmosphere. While I never went inside, I was hoping for it to have a little more personality outside. Regardless, it was perfect for my needs. The menu is mostly sandwiches, which all sounded delicious. I was questioning what my stomach could handle, so of course I chose fried food, cus that makes sense. However, I am on a seafood binge, so seafood it was. i got the fish n chips, and a rootbeer. Regardless of my state before getting the food, the fish n chips was delicious. It was so fresh, crispy, and massive. SO big. The fries hit the spot, and were my favorite type. We stopped in on a very busy Sunday (it was the Art Open House weekend) and hit the sweet spot just after breakfast and before the lunch rush. Hubby was bummed he couldn't get breakfast after 11:30 (they should think about expanding that on Sundays) but got over it. He ordered the pastrami and I got the chicken taco special. We indulged with a basket of onion rings. Everything was very good. OR's were the heavy beer battered type- not my ideal, but still hot and crispy. Tacos were very good. Only gripe was there was a bit of grit from the romaine. But the chicken was perfectly grilled. Hubby loved his sandwich. Our server was very good to start and then disappeared after the food arrived. So no refills for me. Someone else took our check up. But I did see our original server as we were leaving...so not sure what happened there! We had a good meal and the price was reasonable, they just need to fine tune their servers training. read more

Im a fan of 4 corners! This place is great. They have a menu of simple foods but with some great flavor. The prices are not bad either, so it will not break the bank to come here and get an appetizer and a nice meal. A strong point they have is their specials. Usually a bit more pricey, but they are very good, never a disappointment. I did have a few iffy experiences, the first time I came I got a burger and was not a big fan, it came with nothing on it, no lettuce or tomatoes, so I wish they told you it was bare when you ordered it. The stuffed sole is also very good, although it did get it once where it was just a bit to fishy tasting. But we come here about once every week or two, and will continue to come back, this place is awesome for a relaxing and filling meal! read more

I have eaten here several times and I tend to be a creature of habit when I find a dish that appeals to me. Here at Four Corners Grille I have decided that the herb crusted grilled scrod, which I always add the 2 Maryland crab cakes-with the sauce on the side, is my favorite. I do share my crab cakes with my boyfriend, since he is a seafood lover like me. They are very accommodating, since I always ask to leave out the potato and ask to substitute double steamed broccoli. The lobster bisque is a must as well. I make my boyfriend order it and we share it. He always gets a different entrée and each time he picks a winner. The place has limited parking but at night I sometimes park next door. I would second that this place has a "country" type feel to it. It is pretty small and dont be surprised if most of the people know each other. The staff is very nice and attentive. Once we came about 20 minutes before closing and they served us no problem. The food is pretty good. They have a good selection of food and you get a good amount for a reasonable price. We have not tried dessert there. Their onion rings are very good and I usually get the turkey hummus wrap. It is very good. My husband usually gets the burger which he says is good but not as good as the burger at another local place. He also has ordered the Alfredo which is really good. It is not like a 4 star restaurant you would find in the city, but for what it is it is good. Don't go here expecting crazy food, expect good country food cooked well from a staff that is happy to answer questions and always keeps your beverages full at a reasonable price. read more
