My husband and I like to go here when we do not want to deal with the loud and crowded chain restaurants in town. We have had dinner here many times and I will admit that a few times they have had an off night. We were embarrassed one time when we took some friends here, but over all we have had mostly good experiences. My husband took his father here for breakfast and said it was huge and good. Dont listen to ANY 3 star or less reviews on here. This is the #1 breakfast joint for guys like me. If your a family man, like to go to places where people know your name and your order when you walk through the door, support Mom and Pop businesses, and love to eat big portions all at a reasonable price.....this place is for you. If you like high end decor, not being in the country, expect super fast service on a weekend, are gonna complain when the food is a smidge off ("I ordered medium this is medium rare"... doing this in a whiny voice), if you need to be a "Nordstrom" shopper ALL the time.....this place isnt for you....and we dont want you here anyways lol This is some good ole hometown, slap you in the face, like your momma used to do, home cookin comfort food!! Tried this restaurant a few days ago. It was a dark diner, and. It too busy for a weekday lunch hour. But surprisingly, it was delicious!!! Everyone should order these air fries!!!!! They're awesome and I saved a ton of calories, instead of having regular. I had s simple turkey sandwich, but it was very fresh. My brother had a burger and cole slaw. Very yummy. Slaw was perfect! No, I just wanted to run it past you for kicks and giggles!"" I find the first review by Cheryl to be hilarious. That is the longest review I've ever seen. It sounds like she's writing a novel. I have worked many jobs in the customer service field and I've had to deal with many people like her. The quote above is absolutely rude. The waitress cannot just grab your plate and take it away even if it sounds like you don't want it. By the way, she didn't make the food! Quit acting like the Queen of Fine Dining and have some respect and courtesy. But my main point is that Four Corners is a decent place to eat. I wish that I could actually give negative reviews instead of having to give just 1 star. It's been 2 years since the last time we ate at Four Corners and now I remember why. Horrible food and even worse service. When we walked inside the restaurant we stood there waiting for about 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. I finally asked if we should just seat ourselves and then they got us a table. The restaurant was busy but not that bad. We were seated for about 10 minutes before anyone ever came over to take our drink order or give us menus. We considered getting up and leaving but decided to give it a try and wait. My husband ordered coffee and when the waitress brought it out she spilt it on the table. Good luck getting a refill unless you ask for it and then they might even still forget what you asked for. The waitresses were yelling across the restaurant to each other about their tables and who should bring food out and who should be doing what. I really think they have no clue what they are doing. It's pretty bad when customers are leaving and the waitresses are looking around wondering where they went. Still we had hopes that food would be better than the service we were receiving. WRONG....burnt hashbrowns, eggs, bacon and tasteless pancakes. We tried to eat some of the food however everything tasted like a nasty, dirty grill. We didn't even eat a 1/4 of the food before just getting up to leave. Thankfully we had cash on us so we didn't even have to deal with the waitresses anymore. I wonder what they think when customers leave almost all their food and don't ask for a box and don't leave you a tip. We will NEVER be back at Four Corners again and I will never recommend it to anyone (except maybe the show Kitchen Nightmares). read more

I knew this place was going to be good by all the farmer's trucks sitting out front of it! Farmers know how to eat and I was excited and not disappointed at all. We had the breakfast burritos - which were huge, the delicious biscuits and gravy, huge pancakes, and the to die for corn flake crusted French toast. I am a little confused on how a place like this gets four stars? My wife and I ate here today and I got to tell you the service was horrible! We were never greeted when we walked in and due to a sign that stated " Wait to be seated" we stood there waiting for a while until I finally asked if we could just pick a table to sit at... Which we did, but this left one more issue, the menus... It took a while for someone to give us a menu. My wife and I finally ordered our food which took very long to get and just to find out that the food was even that good! I will never eat at this place again. read more

Talk about hidden gem. Stopped in for dinner and while the outside looked a little like a hole in the wall the inside was clean, and country charming. The food was great. We had the salad bar and it was all fresh, clean and tasty. Especially that bacon ranch dressing! Then I had a jalapeno burger and my husband the bacon cheeseburger. Both very tasty and worth a return visit. The thing that set this place apart for me was the service. We came in with our 4 month old and 4 year old. They were great at appeasing the picky 4 year old and when our baby got fussy (we started getting ready to ask for our food to go) she told us to relax and if we wanted we could move to the other room where we would be alone to finish our dinner. She reassured us the baby wasn't bothering anyone and helped us move everything to the side room. Once there she continued to check that our beverages were full and that we wanted for nothing. Of course there our baby settled down and we were able to enjoy a wonderful dining experience. Wish it was closer to home so that this could be a one of our regular treats. read more

Horrible service. Called in to order food to go and what sounded like an elderly lady answered the phone. I asked if I could place an order for pick up and she said "We aren't taking orders right now." I kindly asked her if they aren't at all, and she said their wheel was full and I can try calling back in 20 minutes. I worked as a waitress for 6 years so i know how things can be, and asked if i could still place the order and that i didn't mind waiting and they could just put my order up later. She rudely said "it will be an hour." I said that's totally fine and she started to take my order. I'm reading her the meals and she rudely interrupts me and says "how many orders do you have??" At this point I was over the rudeness, and just said "never mind I'll go ahead and order breakfast somewhere else." Like I said, I worked as a waitress for 6 years and have never treated a customer that way no matter how busy it got. I understand the stress but there is no justification for being disrespectful to customers. I've NEVER written a review before, but this was just a horrible experience and the worst service I've ever received. My husband is a veteran and all I wanted was to order him a special breakfast to surprise him today. Went ahead and ordered from Town and Country instead and got the sweetest service. Won't be ordering from 4 corners EVER again, and will be sure to let family and friends know, as I know a lot of people who go there. If you can't handle things when it's busy and maintain your composure you shouldn't be working in a business that provides customer service. Rant over. Tables around me were serviced, paid for, cleaned, and re-seated while I was left pointedly ignored with no check-backs, or to even clean the plates. This is a local favorite. Generally, the food is food and the service very good, but our family tends to go on week nights when it is not too busy. Don't go on Friday or Saturday nights because everyone is there. I have never eaten breakfast here, so I can't give an opinion. It does seem that some portions have gotten smaller recently and I believe that can be attributed to the economy. Four Corners is trying not to raise prices, but has to cut corners a bit. read more

My family and I was in the area the past Sunday for a photo shoot by the orchards and decided to have breakfast here first. I was skeptical at first but the time we walked in we were greeted and sat down. My wife ordered pancakes, I had the corned beef and hash, the kids had oatmeal and a bowl of fruit. I gotta say that our meal was pretty good. The corned beef hash and hash browns were nice and crispy, just the way I like it! My wife even took some from my plate since corned beef hash is one if her favorites. All and all our meal was great and it was a good experience. I've been to this place twice. The food is o.k. but I've definitely had better. The service could have been better, but I've had worse. The place needs to be thoroughly cleaned and updated. Four Corners is a pretty good restaurant if you are looking for diner food. The service is great. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgable about the menu. I ordered the fish and chips, which were pretty good. The fish was nice and crispy on the outside and still moist and flakey on the inside and didn't have too much batter. The fries were piping hot and nice and crispy. My boyfriend had the dinner special, which was the pasta bolognese, which looked ok. With the dinner special you get a soup, which was the chili cheese soup, which basically tasted like melted Velveeta cheese and some taco seasoned beef, not my favorite, but at least came out nice and hot. Also included in the meal was the salad bar, which is small but still has a good variety, with the pasta salad tasting very good and fresh. Additionally the meal comes with a basket of delicious sweet doughy bread, a perfect complement to your soup or salad! read more

We've lived in Tracy since 1999 and have eaten at Four Corners many times. I have noticed a steady decline in the food quality and the service has mostly declined as well. Our last visit was yesterday for dinner and we each ordered a dinner meal. The server mentioned that our meal came with soup and salad and when I asked what soup was being served she told me cream of mushroom. I am very careful about what I eat since I have two food allergies: avocado and broccoli. When the server brought my soup I commented to my husband that it appeared to have cheese in it. I started eating the soup and after about eight spoonfuls the server showed up at our table so I asked about the soup. She told me it was cheesy broccoli. I told her I was allergic to broccoli and that she had told me it was cream of mushroom. She admitted that she had told me it was mushroom and then laughed. She told me I did not have to eat the soup. Then she brought my dinner and there on the plate was broccoli. She spent most of her time in the kitchen socializing and her attitude was careless.
