About one year ago we heard of opening new four regions restaurant. We decided to try. The food was spectacular. Uniquely and elegantly repaired at small world class restaurant. We visit couple times next month and food was just is great. Forward one year. We had busy day with several projects and decided to have food delivered. Wow we have to honestly say we may never have worst food ever. Ribs was boiled in some fat and had to taste. Noodles was undercook and taste like raw dough. Also the menu just says choice of meat including chicken, beef, pork etc. I chose beef and noticed on my bill an extra $2 charge. If the menu says choice with no mention of extra cost then there should not be on my bill either. read more

We chose from the 2023 Houston Restaurant Week menu. A small glass of complimentary Iced Thai Tea is offered for taking part in it. It was flavorful and fun to drink from since it was in fancy glassware. The utensils have taken a beating. The paint was flaking off on the handles but are still pretty. The plates are pretty but have a rough texture, so moving your spoon is a little grating on the ears. The Jin Tup is smashed beef with a sweet soy sauce flavor. The slices are tender with a few crispy edges. The galangal chili paste was surprisingly tasty without being too spicy. The cilantro bunch adds an herb taste to the appetizer. It would be a great side to a bowl of rice. The Khuar Gling (Pork version) is minced pork stir fried with southern curry. It's moist without being wet. The mound of meat is topped with thinly sliced Kaffir lime leaves and comes with a side of rice, matchstick cucumbers, cilantro, cut long beans and a wedge of iceberg lettuce. I'm used to eating it with raw Thai eggplants and white cabbage, so it was a little strange to eat it with iceberg. The rice has the typical soft yet dry Thai-texture. They sell a loaded mound of rice in a small bowl for $3. The Mango Sticky Rice dessert is pretty and tasty. The glutinous rice is shaped into teardrops and colored pretty natural colors. The thin coconut milk sauce had a sweet and salty taste. The sliced mango was half of a medium-sized mango and slightly tart and sweet. Also, the Tod Mun Kung is (4) fried shrimp balls. They are slightly flattened versions of the ones that come with crab claws at any Dim Sum restaurant and is accompanied by a yellowish and liquid sweet plum sauce. The meat was sweet and chunky with a hot crispy coating. All levels of staff helped out in all the duties and were attentive to every table. The decoration and atmosphere is a mix of fancy and not. There was a screen with sports and another focused on Thai market food cooking. The space is a little tight with some tables, while others are spacious enough not to feel crowded by the nearby diner and walking staff carrying food. The floor looks like wood throughout the spaces, while the bathroom wall panel laminates are unaligned. Overall, it was a yummy meal from start to finish. Regarding the prices, the dishes are sized for the meal and not for leftovers unless you try a variety of dishes. The ice water is refilled very promptly. read more

This place is ridiculously good! We've been here at least 40 times since they opened. The friendly staff greets you at the door with smiles - so welcoming! The place is decorated with a modern flair. The menu is split up into the 4 regions of Thailand and offers something for everyone! We've tried almost everything in the menu and love it all. Our favorites: beef skewers, shrimp cakes, ribs, pad kee maw, pad kaprow, crab fried rice, and pad woon sen. They have a full bar and their crafted drinks are very creative and presented beautifully. I am no Thai food expert, but I am looking forward to learning more about the cuisine at 4 Regions. A delightful spot. We shared the Tod Man Kung, shrimp Patties, with a slightly sweet sauce. Hubs had the Duck Larb Kaufman, which was savory and herby. I had the Larb Gai, which was fresh, minty, and delicious. This is the best Thai food in Houston. We drive 30 minutes for it regularly. The people are very nice and professional.

We were excited to try this restaurant upon learning it's from the same executive chef and cofounder of Kin Dee, which we loved. My husband has been to Thailand several times and says if you want to visit Thailand, come eat here. We ordered the green curry and tom zab kung both hot, and they were excellent. Hot was quite spicy, so I had to be careful when sipping the soup broth because it would cause me to cough, if it hit the back of my throat directly. Service was good, and ambiance was relaxed and quiet when we got there (around 11:30am). It did start to get full as the prime lunch hour approached. We will be back, and I look forward to trying food from the other regions. read more

We felt that our regular Thai options were getting a bit repetitive, so we decided on Four Regions Thai Cuisine as a change. We opted for the Drunken Noodles and Crab Fried Rice as our mains, with Chicken (Gai Ping) and Beef skewers as the appetizer. The skewers were delicious, the Drunken Noodles were cooked perfectly (and not oily), the Crab Fried Rice was good, with lots of crab meat. The location is in a pretty unassuming strip mall, but the interior is nice, spacious and not too noisy. The service is great. It's definitely a unique place to eat. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. Four Regions is one of the best Thai restaurants on our side of town. We'll be back soon. read more

LOVED the sticky rice. Cons: Stick with mild spice level unless you're ready for a tongue-searing. I had medium spice in the papaya salad, which induced a coughing fit. I normally don't leave reviews, but this restaurant deserves 10 stars through and through. Every item I've ordered on the menu the 5 or so times I've visited have been delicious-- speaking as a self-proclaimed Thai food aficionado-- and the staff has been nothing short of lovely every time. Highly recommend the Pad Thai, pork ribs, Pad Kee Maw, and the northern style curry (the name escapes me, but it's so good). Lastly, I'll mention that the outdoor patio is so cute! My family and I always eat outside because we like to bring our dog, and the fairy lights, pergolas, and decorations really set the mood for the incredible food you're about to have. Four Region occupies the former space of one of my favorite casual counter service Thai-Lao restaurants. The new owner turned it into a warm cozy restaurant, with great service, attentive servers. The food were average, nicely presented, authentic but definitely lacked balance. Chicken larb: had some cooked cilantro in it, but not enough seasonings, shallots, the sprightly fresh herbs, mint or whatever herbs that make a refreshing chicken larb. The ground chicken breast was doused in fish sauce, too salty, lack the sour and sweet balance of the lime juice and sugar, but did not season enough to take away that chicken taste. It just smelled and tasted like ground chicken & fish. For such a simple dish, it was frankly not appetizing, but we ate it anyway not wanting to waste protein. Sausage appetizer: was acceptable but the skin did not have the crisp bite , some of the sliced sausage pieces fell apart, not firm. Pork curry: curry sauce had a nice depth and flavor but the pieces of tasteless fatty pork meat had a gelatinous texture; likely the meat was soaked in a starchy solution before thrown into the curry. My dining companion ate everything else in the curry but refused to eat the pork. Some Asian restaurants use this slurry starch meat technique to tenderize the meat, but in my opinion, that just cheapens the meat. Mango sticky rice: a pretty presentation of the different colors sticky coconut rice and had a nice touch of pandan flavor. But the mango itself was fibrous, more sour than sweet because it needed several more days of ripening. I realize it's winter and not mango season but the hallmark of this $10 simple dessert is the creamy mango to complement the rich coconut sticky rice, so unripened mango reduced the dessert quality 50% less. With all the positive reviews, I am hoping the kitchen was just off this particular day, because we had 3 just acceptable dishes, and 1 not up to standard. read more

I got the Kuar Gling with Chicken and it was delicious. For appetizers, I recommend the curry puffs. It's a bit pricier than your normal run of the mill Thai restaurants but with it comes an elevated ambiance. It's really nice inside, the cutlery is nice, and they even serve cocktails. We went for an early dinner and drinks. Their cocktails are delicious and have such a great presentation. They even do a happy hour! Our food was wonderful - it came out timely and hot! Service was top notch, as well. I would highly recommend it. The restaurant is not very large so either get there early or make a reservation. Food is so so. I feel that for the prices and smaller to go portions it was not worth the trip. Upon entering I was not greeted and the waiter although super nice was not helpful on recommendations or suggestions even after I asked for explanation of dishes. The menu lacks photos so it was hard to tell when I had never been here before. The order took forever and I had to purchase a drink while I waited. Bar stools are on trend with look but super uncomfortable. Lighting and looks of place has a pleasant and cool vibe. When I got home and unpacked food, it was not what I thought AFTER I asked. Personal taste was appealing but value to experience was not there for me. Don't think I will try again. read more

You might not expect an upscale menu and chef quality food from a shopping center in Spring, but if you miss 4 Region Thai you'll miss the best Thai for many miles! I'm a Thai food fanatic and this place exceeded my expectations. Everything was fresh made or made from scratch. Had Por Pía Tod egg roll, which had nice crunchy texture and was nice and light, with plenty of substance. Main was Pad se Ew--flat noodles with pork. Likely the best version of this noodle dish I've ever had! Fresh flavors of sliced asparagus and Asian greens stir-fried in a light brown sauce that didn't overpower the vegetables or pork. Thai waiter named Tan said many dishes on this menu are not found anywhere else in Houston--they are authentic Thai. I'll beach out next time in. Elegantly plated and enough for lunch tomorrow. Dessert was homemade coconut ice cream, which was delicious, but a bit pricey at $10.95., and was served with roasted peanuts on top. The peanuts were tasty but overpowered the coconut, and if you have a peanut allergy, make sure you ask them to hold the peanuts. Had a nice hot tea to drink. Today I decided to try this new Thai restaurant and was blown away!!!!! Finally, a true Thai restaurant with flavors from that country. The crab fried rice was phenomenal as well as the pad Thai was true to its flavors from Thailand. Welcome and truly appreciate you being true to Thai cuisine !!!! I wish they would add to the menu that wonderful fried chicken with fried shallots that you get on the side of the road while driving between Phuket and krabi offered by the muslim ladies on the side of the road as street food on the go..........
