This place is always busy! The buffet has a good variety of food: Chinese, sushi, poke, salad, stir fry, soup, grilled meats, etc. The flavor is there but the quality is terrible. So incredibly oily and everything tastes like it has been frozen previously. Just feel like crap after eating. I've had better Chinese seafood buffets, which is why I'm rating it so low. My husband and I have been here twice now and it's really good for a cheap ayce asian buffet. The sushi is actually good for a buffet offering. I enjoy the tapanyaki grill the most. No crab legs here, but my husband and I don't mind that. They do grill some squid and meats but it was really overcooked. The best part to me is the self serve ice cream because I'm 99% sure it's thirty's ice cream and it's my absolute favorite. There were 6 flavors if I remember correctly. The place is generally spacious and clean, with adequate lighting. My lunch was very good, delicious Chinese style dishes. I really liked the stuffed crab and grilled beef. Wait staff tries to offer you refills periodically. I had nothing negative to say, except the sushi wasn't really good. If you like buffets, here are the reasons you should check this spot out: 1) They have lots of seating inside and they have been pretty quick about getting large groups in and out. 2) Their service is on it! They continue to check on you, refill drinks, and clear your table so that you can keep going. We had children with us during this last visit and the employees were giving out balloons to them. My niece and nephew were totally into it! It was a really nice gesture. 3) They have great tasting food and a variety to offer. For Pacific Islanders, I also saw that they offer taro. Nice! One of the stations that I really liked was the steamed food session including soup dumplings, bao buns, and gyoza. I got to try Four Seasons Buffet for the first time for a family gathering. The place was packed on Saturday and it seemed to be the happening place for family gatherings. The line was quite long at peak lunch hour and there was a little bit of a stall in replenishing the food as it ran out. However as soon as the lunch crowd left; there definitely was plenty of food. Right by the teppanyaki section, is a section full of steamed goodies such as red bean buns, taro buns, siomai and steamed wontons. After that are the main courses where one can find dishes such as orange chicken, kung pho chicken, coconut shrimp, teriyaki chicken, tempura, chow mein and fried rice. Past the main courses are the soups. That day they had clam chowder, miso soup and hot and sour. Last was the grill where a cook was grilling items such as chicken kebabs and korean bbq. In the middle was the salad and dessert bar. The dessert bar included fresh ice cream and a large chocolate fountain. There definitely was a lot of variety to choose from and I could see why it was crowded. There seemed to be something for everyone from the little kids to the young at heart. Conveniently located across the street from Cerritos mall, it's good, the waiters are nice, and my kids like it here. So we stop by whenever we don't have time to cook. Pricing is fair. Then you go to the cashier area and pay for your meal. I actually thought that was a better than paying at the end. We arrived around 11:20am on a Sunday morning in fact today, 1/30/22. After paying, we were escorted to our table. We then went to the buffet area. They provide gloves by the plates area to use while you get your food. Food: 3.5/5 Though they had lots of options , the quality was just ok. I went for the sushi and the quality of the rice was ok. The rice was A little hard and felt old. The toppings made the selections look appetizing but the taste was just ok. They did have fried crabs which I enjoyed and that's what I got full from. I also had a teppanyaki with steak and shrimp. The taste was pretty good but the steak was tough! I enjoyed the mushrooms and shrimp. I tried the hot and sour soup and it was sweet. The ice cream was also good. The fam seemed to enjoy their food but they also shared that it was just okay and nothing really stood out. Ambiance: 4/5 The restaurant was clean but the plates and soup bowls were not that clean. Some of the soup bowls had remaining stains on them. The women restroom was also clean. Price: 3.5/5 The price is on the higher side but considering everything has gone up, I guess this is the norm now. I've had my fair share of visits here for the last several years - large family gatherings and birthdays require a large space and this was the go-to place to accommodate for that. Unfortunately, the quality of food has just taken a turn for the worst. Don't get me wrong. I understand that it's a buffet and price point wise, it is on the cheaper side. However, you can adjust here and there without absolutely compromising some standard of quality. The meat/grill area was just dried up, inedible pieces and mostly bone. It also looked like they were day-old food... did not look appetizing at all. The fruit also was not cool or refreshing- tasteless. I hope they're able to pick it up a bit with the quality. First off I looove me a good buffet and this is "Las Vegas style buffet"! I had seen this on tiktok and seeing how close it was I knew I needed to try! First impressions are literally EVERYTHING!!! We didn't have to wait since we got there at 11:48 and they had just opened at 11am so it wasn't as busy. We got there and it was $18.99 which is lunch menu price and $2.59 for fountain drinks for a grand total of $47.26! So price point for buffet is a perfect price point! You pay before you get seated and then they walk you to your table. Due to us being there early all it the food was so fresh! The green beans were cooked but still had a bite to them they were not soggy or over cooked they were perfect, the lo mein was my favorite they also had teppanyaki style noodles where you pick your veggies and meat and they cook for you but I got so full I didn't make it to that station! I absolutely live for seafood and trying the spicy swai and the fried calamari sent my tastebuds into a trance! The calamari was cooked to perfection it was not rubbery or fishy it was the perfect cook and the perfect amount of fry too! I had to keep eating it and I got on round 1 and 2! The veggies were all so perfect. They also had a sushi station where all of their rolls look fresh, they have a fresh fruit station, a salad station, a kabob station and my favorite the dessert station!!! Lots of cake bites, banana pudding and ICE CREAM! Not the watery soft serve that some places serve ACTUAL scoop your own ice cream! They had strawberry vanilla, cookies and cream, vanilla, rocky road, pistachio, green tea and coffee! The waiters were all so quick to pick up your plates as soon as you walk back for another round which is very nice! They refilled our tea and water promptly around 1215 is started getting really busy but they just keep bringing out more trays of food to refill and so everything is always fresh! This place is a 10/10 and I can't wait to go back! Even if it means going back to war alone lol Definitely glad I wore my stretchy pants and a lose shirt because I ate until my stomach was satisfied I didn't over serve myself because they remind you with signs to get as much as you want but finish what you serve to avoid being wasteful and that is. Great reminder because sometimes our eyes are bigger than our hunger and even tho it's a buffet it's never good being wasteful! Anyway 10/10 highly recommend! We came for Mother's Day weekend. My parents love this place. Extremely busy restaurant. And clean too. The food selection is massive! FOOD GALORE, literally! From Chinese dishes to Japanese / sushi.
