Came here on 12/14/23 to have lunch with 2 others. We all thought the food here is very good and the prices are reasonable, including bottled Japanese beer for $5. We got the "senior discount" on our meals and were promptly seated although the place was very busy. The only negatives are the restaurant acoustics (noise level) and the limited parking situation. I live about 20 miles away but would definitely return. As a Christian, I also like the Scripture verses on the back of the restaurant's business card. read more

2 stars, +1 for opening during trying time post-covid. First time visiting. The prices aren't great. Was $94 for 2 adults and 2 seniors with one soft drink. We came here for my mom's birthday. We've sat out buffets for over a year and a half, like most people. To my understanding the only way you could get buffets was in Vegas, and it was heavily modified for COVID cos buffets are great at spreading the virus. Anyways, Four Seasons didn't have crab legs cos of a "supplier shortage." I think it's more about cost shaving, but I'll never know for sure. This was disappointing though as we'd driven 30 miles / 1 hr each way cos traffic to get here. The cleanliness was OK, there were plastic disposable gloves to handle tongs with, and there were also hand sanitizers relatively well stocked. Plastic utensils (each table gets one fork per person, and one napkin) are used. The plates here are quite small, which I'm sure helps for portion control. It doesn't matter though cos the food was downright bad. The kitchen wokked entrees were OK, and I didn't bother getting any of the freshly grilled teppan selections (there was someone manning the station and cooking, but I just didn't go for it). There are still small wokked blue grabs even though there wasn't snow crabs. But the thing is, everything except the chinese traditional dishes tasted bad. Even the hot and sour soup was awful. It smelled like it'd gone bad--which is hard cos it's heavily laden with vinegar--acid kills everything. It just seemed the ingredients weren't the freshest. Then there's the sushi. This could've been the saving grace (I know the chocolate fountain may be the centerpiece for many here tho), but the fish used in the sushi was mealy and way past fresh. I took a chance and had a few of their rolls. The spicy ones were that kind of spicy that makes it hard to swallow, but this spiciness hid the un-fresh fish at least. The tuna poke was downright gamey and lacked flavor even though it was heavily marinaded. The desserts were actually OK. Fruit selection is melons, cherries and strawberries--made for chocolate fountain action. Salad bar was lackluster but veggies did look decent in it. If this wasn't such a weird time for any restaurant, especially buffets that couldn't do much business for the last year and a half, I'd given this place 2 stars (generous) and maybe even 1, but given I'd never been here pre-pandemic I don't have a standard to gauge if their food has always been this bad or if they're just trying to adjust to re-opening. What I can say is, for now at least, stay far away. $20/person is a fairly OK deal for what you get, but you're better off waiting for them to get their act together first. read more

I'm not sure if I'd ever come back here. For starters, the selection of food items is really small compared to other buffets. The food itself was alright, but a lot of things seemed like they were sitting out for a while. I went back multiple times for new plates and it didn't look like anything was replaced for a good amount of time, so it doesn't seem like the food is always fresh. Not great - especially when there's a sushi station. Prices are decent. The servers are very attentive so an extra star for that. Aside from that, I'm not sure if I'll ever come back - there are definitely better buffets out there. read more

Ask for steam crab.. Was here 30-40 mins and never was steam crab provided.. And this was in Friday when they charge WEEKEND RATE $23+. I finally after watching steam table and having made two trips.. On 3rd trip I asked lady behind the food. She returned to put 5 pieces into the steam table. First the food and selection, for 17.99 there where a lot of food selections that you won't get in any other ayce! Sushi rolls like tuna which I don't see that often, they even have Chinese medicine soup! That's a surprise. Mongolian grill etc. dessert was good and have a lot of selection! Came in on Sunday dinner around 6:30pm. A lot of people line up, it took about 30 mins to get seated. Food was okay for buffet. The good foods like oysters and sashimi were slowly to came out. I was lucky to get the oysters just because a customer asked a waiter & the waiter got them from inside, but only 1/2 full tray of the oysters. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS PLACE!!!!! They had such a great variety and the food came out hot and just super enjoyable! From the time we sat down to the time we finished, they were very accommodating. We had such a large party, and the staff was so nice and friendly. The manager I think was also walking around refilling drinks, and thats what I like to see! Not a buffet expert. I don't frequent buffets, usually sit downs. Food is not as good as before (a few weeks ago). Panda Express tastes better than this buffet now (I had to try Panda Express again to compare). I didn't encounter any salty or oily dishes. However, I don't usually eat oily foods anyways. As for the flavor, some were very good, others were not. There was nothing bland. Unless you prefer more seasoning on the fried rice or chowmein/lo mein. Usually the fried rice or chowmein/ lo mein is lightly seasoned so you eat it with stir fried dishes. Service is good. Ambiance is good. read more

Their buffet to-go option is the best kept secret for when you don't have time to cook and are looking for a quick, cheap and filling meal. At $5.99/lb for their regular vegetable, meat and seafood and $8.99/lb for rolls, we filled 1 box with sushi rolls and packed 1 box with veggies, kung pao chicken, baked mussels and shrimp, baked fish, and walnut shrimp. The total was $15 for 2 people and the food was great! This is a convenient option for a filling meal minus the guilt of overeating at the buffet. :) read more

We arrived and were sat fairly quickly. Service was fine. The food was sub par, most of it was dry, or soggy, or overcooked. Majority of the food was chinese based or shellfish, and a pretty small selection for a buffet. The dessert bar was ice cream or small dry cakes and cookies. Ice cream bar was a mess and the chocolate fountain was also messy but not terrible. Fruit selection was OK. For 27.99 a piece we probably won't return as it's just not worth the money spent. The restaurant itself is also pretty busy and seems unorganized, we had employees ducking between us and no real lines or clear direction. The ambiance is that of a typical buffet. read more

Covid surcharge of 1.30 to add a 10pk of sanitizer hand wipes and make the customer wear gloves as they point at the food they want, we don't actually touch the food or serving utensils. Customer points and the employee scoops. The sanitize each customers hands before seating you. They have sanitizer gel at the entrances for customers. The gloves are a huge waste and a majority from what I saw were getting picked up by the wind and carried through the parking lot. The staff cannot hear you tell them only a little, or follow hand gestures indicating to stop serving that dish. They were over serving things that I only wanted to taste, upon tasting something I didn't like and now I'm stuck with a plate of 10 tiny shrimp that's over sauced, soggy, mushy and extremely oily. The price for lunch buffet was decent but they need to teach their staff to follow ques given by customers when being served because it's just wasting food. The gloves are unnecessary because the customer never touch the trays, plate or serving utensils; that is not until the staff hands the tray or plate to you. What is the point of the gloves on guests? You charged us for hand wipes, you also provide sanitize gel at each points of entry. Why not have a staff member designated on sanitation duty? It'd probably be cheaper and wouldn't contribute to the excessive amount of plastic pollution. Smh not to mention the food waste because of over serving. Not a sustainable business practice considering buffets will probably go extinct in the next few years because of the pandemic and not as many patrons which means the under staff to stay profitable. It's just not sustainable. The worst part was witnessed by my boyfriend. The sushi chef was using, what once was a white rag but now has turned, gray from soil to wipe down the sushi prep surface and instead of taking a dirted serving tray to be washed or sterilized in the kitchen dish washers he also used that same gray soiled rag to wipe down the serving trays previous roll residue and then placed new rolls on top. The sushi that was out was dry. The sushi rolls were made in a larger quantity so whatever patrons didn't select it was left to dry out... which tells me they are not using a timing rotation on these items. The orange chicken my boyfriend picked was over served and the sauce on his plate had at least 1-2 TBSP of oil separating from the sauce. Very off putting. read more

Went here for the first time and a random woman got in and was begging for money. She grabbed random food with her hand and even used the serving spoon to try some stuff and put it back on the food. I told one of the staff and they didn't do anything about it. It makes my stomach turn seeing what happened. The woman probably got in there multiple times cause she was pretty comfortable taking food and hiding it. The food wasn't even that good so I'm probably never going back . I'm never really a fan of buffets especially in orange county but when it comes to "Vegas buffets" I'm all in which is why I decided to come here. The selection consist of mostly asian cuisines. Sushi, sashimi, and your typical chow mein, sweet and sour soup etc. The restaurant appeared to be super big in size from the outside but in reality the buffet was mediocre size. I came around dinner time roughly around 730pm on a Saturday evening, and expected to see a wait but there was none, maybe I came too late. Ice cream flavors were spot on though. They had me on pistachio and rocky road flavor. Service was spot on. Every time I finished my plate, a waitress would always be nearby and swoop it away in a heart beat, amazing!! Will I go here again? That's a big maybe if that! I don't mind enjoying the teppanyaki but there are definitely bigger and better selection of buffets around orange county. read more

This continues to be our favorite buffet, and we usually come on Fridays for lunch nowadays (their price has increased to $16.99 for M-F lunch, but the quality and quantity of the food is still worth it). Our favorites are the Garlic sole (delicious battered fish fillet with a sweet non-garlicky sauce), Ketchup shelled whole shrimp (delicious), Broccoli Beef (the beef is so soft), and Red Bean Fried Sesame Balls (the breading is so perfectly chewy, lightly sweet, and not very greasy). My husband also loves their orange chicken (although it tastes more like honey chicken), almond cookies, and various ice cream. We noticed that on our April and January 2022 visits, the quality of the California rolls has gone way down, almost as if the restaurant hired a new sushi chef. The rice and imitation crab/avocado filling in these rolls used to be super soft, moist, and so delicious. But on these recent visits, the rice is now super dry, compact, and hard (and we always come at around 11am when the restaurant just opened, so it is not as if the sushi had been sitting out for long and got dried out). We don't eat raw sushi/sashimi, but we assume that this same dry, hard rice is now being used on all the raw sushi and sashimi as well as the California rolls. Please bring back the old sushi chef, or change the formula for how you cook up the vinegar rice! It shouldn't be that hard to change the consistency of the rice, to make your California rolls and the rest of the sushi good again!! We also noticed that since the Covid pandemic, the beef at the Teppanyaki grill is no longer super tender, and is now extremely tough to chew, so we longer get anything from the grill. We know beef prices are high, but hopefully in the future when inflation is back down, the beef at the Teppanyaki grill will be good again. read more

They have a large variety of different foods including a Mongolian BBQ grill, sushi, dumplings, desserts, and all the Asian dishes the average person is familiar with. Everything is fresh and tasty. They have plenty of seating so I recommend dining here if you're with a large group and don't feel like waiting for a table at other places. I've been to and have tried many different Chinese buffets and this one has a notch up compared to others, but is twice the price of your average Chinese buffet prices. The sushi was notch better, the Mongolian bbq custom orders were a notch better and the beef ribs were pretty good. But in my price-for-what-you-get ratio, I would look elsewhere. I would still rather go to the $12 Chinese buffets if I were to choose. Also, they make you pay before you sit. Which is not really an issue, but it felt weird as it would seem rude not to tip.
