I will never recommend this dealership to purchase a vehicle or use their service department. Stay far away. Worst service department I have ever dealt with. Tried to rip me off when I knew what the issue was. Then was going to charge me $149 but lowered it to $75 for a diagnostic. A hose came loose from my transmission cooler which I was the one who found it and showed them. Update: They refunded my $75 since it was an error on their part. read more

I'm giving this place one star based on the service department alone. Do not buy a car here on that merit alone. The service department never answers the phone and never return voicemails. They have had my truck for two full days to replace the catalytic converter and refuse to let me know the progress. I have called 5 times today and am yet to get a return call. The fifth time I called I asked to speak to an actual person and they left me on hold for 10 minutes and sent me to another voice mail. Replacing a catalytic converter is not a one day job, let alone two going on three. If you don't mind being without your vehicle for days without any communication then this is the place for you. I have taken my vehicles here for years and the service that I have received from multiple people has ended me being a customer here. DO. NOT. SHOP. HERE. This has been my experience thus far: 1 - Super nice sales guy has no idea about vehicle specs. "The Trax will have lower insurance cost than your Subaru. Lower gas mileage, too." WRONG. 2 - Even after knowing this I went with the car, I am incredibly happy with the vehicle itself. But it took another FOUR HOURS to leave the dealership because he (Sean) was dealing with 5 other people, and had already sold me the car. I never saw him after that. 3 - I scraped up the side of my car. They told me to drive up there and look. Did I need an appointment I pressed. "No," they insisted and I drove an hour from south Denver to Broomfield. "Oh, he's actually not in today. Sorry about that!" Drove 1.5 hours back. Done with this place. 4 - Until today and I realize they STOLE MY WHEEL LOCK TO MY VEHICLE when I brought it in for a tire replacement and I am now STRANDED. I really want to love this dealership. I've been coming here for the past two years. The sales team is horrible, the service department is poor, and the parts counter isn't very knowledgeable. First, the sales team, isn't really interested in selling cars. I came in fully willing to order a Silverado from the factory (cash in hand), I talked to three salesman over three separate visits and no one was interested. I ended up using AAA Auto Source, and would highly recommend them. Secondly, the Service department, I was having trouble with my center console USB port running CarPlay as well as my DEF tank level not being reported accurately when towing. For the USB port I had to come back 3 times before they would just replace it. For the def tank they acknowledged there was a problem and wouldn't do anything about it because they would have to replace the whole def tank. And lastly, the service department, I'm interested in replacing my chrome bumpers with stock color matched ones. I asked for a quote to replace the front and back bumpers, he spent 10 minutes looking up parts and then told me it's not possible without replacing everything on the bumper assembly. I said ok can I get a quote for that. He shook his head and gave me a quote for just the bumper parts. Not a fan of my "Hometown" Chevy Dealership. I went in to Century Chevrolet to try and sell my car. I had looked online how to sell a car with cargurus and it said it would recommend dealers and they would get back to me with a fair purchase price. What a joke. They lowballed me a lot lower that a different dealer earlier this week simply because I wasn't looking to buy a car from them. Take my advice... Get an estimate of the car you are trying to trade in without telling them how much you owe. What you owe should have no bearing on the trade in value. That goes for any dealership. I totally wasted my time at Century Chevrolet. I should have known better because the reviews I've read before are mostly negative but I took a chance anyway. I shouldn't have. On a better note, at least the first guy I talked to was friendly. read more

Ok, it took speaking with a finance officer at a bank AND an insurance specialist to fully process why every red flag I have was going off when I went to purchase a vehicle from this lot. To start, the salesperson was sickly sweet but there was sort of a strange uneasy undertone that was magnified by her knowing absolutely nothing about the vehicle I was interested in and even quoting the vehicle next to it as the wrong year and insisting it was correct. She was nice yet curt and had really nothing to add beyond what was on the website. When it came time to purchase, things went wrong very quickly. I had to go back and forth for over an hour to get them to barely meet fair market value on the vehicle. I still ended up about $1,500 over what other places were selling the same vehicle for. In addition, the vehicle was hail damaged and the salesperson was extremely careful not to say when it happened and whether it happened at their lot. She then told me that they never reported the damage (i.e it happened at their lot) and to simply claim to insurance the damage during the next storm to get it fixed. During the buying process, I was presented with an Acknowledgment of Damage form which immediately set off sirens for me. If you never claimed it, then why would you have me acknowledge it? I have since spoken with an insurance specialist who explained that the vehicle was absolutely damaged at their lot, they pocketed the money and the acknowledgment was legal protection for them in the event I tried to claim the damage after a storm to get it fixed. They essentially legally protected themselves and set me up to do something patently illegal. The insurance specialist made it clear, my insurance would have known immediately and I would have been dropped from my insurance for life for lying. This is what the salesperson AND her manager suggested that I do. Second, they required that I place full coverage insurance on the vehicle before they would even let me purchase it, not use my umbrella policy but purchase full coverage right there at the table before they would let me even speak with finance. Speaking with an insurance specialist, this is HIGHLY illegal. Not just something that might slip the cracks, but full stop illegal and they knew it. I was prefinanced through my bank. The salesperson spent an hour telling me that they can do better financing and to let them run their financing for me. I finally agreed after half an hour of the salesperson refusing to acknowledge what I was asking her to do. I keep my credit score locked and asked them to let me know when they were running it so I could unlock it for them. They ran it without my permission and it was denied so instead they then ran my TransUnion, twice. Once on the day and again the next day, for some reason. My TransUnion has taken a 20 point hit. I was told they work with hundreds of credit unions and they would have a bunch of offers ready for me. The salesperson guaranteed me they could do better than my current financing so I should agree beforehand to use theirs and not mine. Two hours of them "running the numbers" while I signed other paperwork and I find out they only have one offer. From my bank. At two percent higher interest. I showed the finance person my approval and was informed it wasn't real and that I should just sign the two percent higher and duke it out with my bank. I spoke with my bank. My approval was 100% valid and the only reason they offered me financing I already had, was to make the referral money. And they weren't even running real numbers come to find out so it was just rates they had pulled off of the bank's website. My banker FLAT OUT told me not to do business with them. When the deal was looking shaky, the finance person magically came back with a finance offer from an out of state lender for nearly 3% less and started trying to get me to sign a bill of sale. I told them I needed to speak with my bank because I needed someone I trust to explain what was happening to me. Three times they tried to get me to sign the bill of sale before I left. I told them I would let them know what I decided by 1 pm the next working day and by 11 am of that day I had four calls, four voicemails, and three text messages asking if I had spoken to my bank. The entire 6-hour ordeal made me HIGHLY uncomfortable and I left feeling sick because I couldn't figure out what they were trying to do to me. After speaking with my bank and an independent insurance specialist, they were fully trying to take advantage of me. I went in there honest and hoping to have someone be helpful along the way as it was my first time buying a car and every weird thing began to add up and I almost had a panic attack at one point because of how deeply uncomfortable they all made me feel. Not to mention that they would back me into legally damning corners with full smiles on their faces. 10/10 DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE read more

If there was a way to give less than one star I would. This was by far the worst service experience in my lifetime. I brought my 2019 Tahoe in on a Friday and as I was about to leave I was told that the earliest it would be evaluated was the following Wednesday. Apparently your car must be physically in line in order to be serviced. My car remained at the dealer for three weeks, and the delay was not due to a part needing to be ordered, or anything like that. It was due to sheer incompetence. When my car was returned only one of the three problems was fixed and, in addition, the windshield was totally cracked, probably because it was sitting outside in the sun for so long. The only time during the three weeks I received updates was when I asked for them. Many times I was told that the dealer would be in touch, which mostly did not happen. Avoid this place at all cost. Amazing this dealer is still in business and that GM is still allowing to represent the company. read more

Car stranded overnight. Visit #2: Part now in stock. Drop off car at 9am, service doesn't call me until 4:30pm to inform me they haven't started work and need to keep the car another day. I had a Cobalt for over 16 years, I brought it to this dealer to fix a starter issue and was left without a car for over 2 weeks with no communication from the service team. Multiple "promises" were made for a call back and they never happened. I knew it was time for a new car after they couldn't fix the issue and wanted to get the Blazer. When I test drove the car it was filthy from rain (understandable) and by the time it was washed and I was out the door it was dark. Come day time I could see horrific swirl marks on the paint of this brand new car and I had to bring it back over 3 times before this dealership would outsource and do the right thing to correct what their car wash had messed up. The poor excuse I received was that all the cars on their lot are scratched like that and the only reason I was seeing it was because the car was black. No dealership should be okay with selling a car that is so scratched it needs a full paint correction from an outsourced company. After over a month of poor communication and more time without my car the dealership did pay for the correction but I will never do service with this location again, the lack of communication is the worst I have ever professionally experienced. read more

Bad service management: in January of 2020, my Equinox was diagnosed with severe engine damage. I was told by the service tech that the repairs of $4000+ would be covered by a class action lawsuit. I submitted all the paperwork and was denied because the manager of the service area would not help even though he promised he would. Hands down the best service department that ever worked on one of my cars. Tall Tom listens and comes with solutions. We had a car to drive when ours was down, the bill and charges were fair and explained in detail, and the car was done before promised. Walked in and took more than five minutes to be greeted by anyone. I actually had to walk into a salesperson's office and ask to be acknowledged. Salesman had very little knowledge of vehicle trim levels or inventory. When we went to look at cars, not a single door was opened for me, so I had to peer in through the windows. I asked to test drive a Traverse 4 times and finally gave up. I never even got to sit in one. My budget was really wide open, but I was treated as though I didn't deserve the time or have the money to buy the car. I spent my 45k somewhere else. This entire place stunk of used car salesperson stereotypes and spent cigarettes. HORRIBLE!! ZERO stars if possible!! I made an appointment 2-WEEKS in advance ((06/07/2021)) to bring my vehicle in for service - engine light was on. 2-WEEKS in advance!! Upon my appointment on 06/21/2021 THAT morning I was informed I would need to leave my vehicle for 5-7 DAYS... No explanation, just that were behind and didn't have a technician that could work on it if something was wrong. I spoke to the service manager who was USELESS and informed me they didn't have a technician available. However, when I was there for the car show on Saturday 06/19/2021 and they were still servicing vehicles not 1-person nor the service manager bothered to contact me ahead of my appointment day to tell me they didn't have technicians available?! He tried to BS me that they only knew THAT morning!! 5-7 days out and you found out THAT morning?! C'mon ... a good manager would know ahead of time and contact his customer/s. I took the day off to have my car worked on and was given that crock of lies. Well, I was able to get in elsewhere and taken care of same day and for much less then what was quoted though Chevy. I will NEVER take my vehicle back and when I buy my next Camaro it will be @ another dealership. Told them exactly what I was looking for, how much I was willing to pay for it - the representative (I believe his name was John) was able to locate the vehicle I needed...and they did above and beyond of what I needed. They only lose one star because I called, after having the vehicle for about a year, I ran into a problem. Their service department is not the best. I asked them a warranty related question and they provided me a very general answer. As if I'd never taken the car to this establishment for service - as if I'd never bought the vehicle there. I brought my car in for an oil change, a transmission fluid change, and for work to be done on my broken air conditioner. I was offered a shuttle service, but as I live an hour away and was only passing through, I said I didn't mind waiting an hour or two since I didn't have anywhere to be. After about an hour waiting in the shop, I was told that the transmission fluid needed for my car was not in stock, so they wouldn't be able to do that. I said that was fine, and that I would still like the oil changed and the air conditioning looked at. Another three and a half hours later, I was brought an estimate for almost $1,500 to fix my air conditioning, for which they also did not have the part. I said I wouldn't want the repairs done as I needed to do some research first. After getting over the sticker shock, it occurred to me to ask why my warranty didn't cover the repair. The man I asked said he hadn't even checked to see if I had a warranty, which is frankly unacceptable. He didn't seem in a rush to find out what my warranty covered, so while he was busy dealing with whatever else he was doing, I got online and called the 800 number to see if my warranty would cover the damages. While on the phone, I saw through my Chevy account online that there was a recall on my car -- for the air conditioner. I went in again and asked the same guy about the recall, and he told me he hadn't even noticed. He flipped a couple pages into my paperwork and there it was. So... Basically, I spent six hours at this dealership for an oil change, when I should have been informed from the minute they took my VIN that my air conditioner was on recall and that they would need to order parts. It's a good thing I do my research, because I could have been out $1,500 that I shouldn't have had to pay at all. I am very displeased with the service I received and I will not be returning to this dealership for any further maintenance. read more

I am writing this review mostly out of disappointment of the dealership, not the product. This experience having happened 3 weeks prior I wanted to take some time to reflect upon it, I have not written off the cuff. I am a several time buyer of new GM products spanning over 45 years of experience visiting their dealerships. I have come to expect a certain level of customer service during the purchase which up to now has been excellent. Considering the rarity of the vehicle I was forced to travel to Broomfield, Colorado a suburb of Denver from just south of Indianapolis a round trip of 2400 miles in order to purchase it. The actual negotiations were completed both by phone call and emails. Considering the logistics those negotiations went for the most part smoothly. Once we had a confirmed deal and pickup arrangement I made payment of the deposit and completed my travel plans. This time frame give the dealer 8 days lead time before my arrival. Since I would be trading in a mostly new vehicle (2020 year model) I was making it a road trip also. We had agreed on three things that would be done before my arrival to the purchased vehicle in addition to the normal new vehicle delivery cleaning and fueling. I wanted to make the visit short as possible considering I had 1200 miles return trip to look forward to. I planned to be at their location upon opening on a Monday morning 9 am, agreed by both of us. Upon my arrival, which had as I mentioned before been planned 8 days in advance and consisting of the $2000 deposit, most of the agreed work had not been completed. The vehicle had not been detailed and was left outside accumulating 7 inches of snow on it, making inspection impossible. When I inquired about our agreement and completion of it reminding the sales person I had traveled 1200 miles and had given them 8 days to complete the work along with $2000 the response I received "we were closed on Sunday". I am not going to expose those who failed miserably here since being personal would not solve the main problem I see the dealer has of accountability. I completed my end of the deal by making payment and delivering the trade-in automobile having 6000 miles on it and as new. It continued to take 3 hours for them to complete their part after 8 days of lead time. To me this dealership resembles more of a upscale used car dealership, far from what I have been accustom to as those GM dealers I have purchased from previously. I have traveled many times to purchase a "certain" vehicles sometimes visiting the same dealer twice. By considering me as a "one time out of town buyer" it made me just that for sure not to consider what could have been a great review with just a bit of effort. May I suggest you pick a dealer who's sales people are more willing to earn your business and one who is in control of them. You work hard for your money pick a dealer who will respect your business. read more

Be very carful dealing with this dealership. I found out yesterday that they totally deceived me in selling me an extended warranty on the car I bought 18 months ago. They have handled my service on my past five cars, and I was never disatisfied with their service department. But when I needed a covered repair through the warranty I bought, they told me that I did not understand what I bought. I can assure that I did. Finance manager was very "slimy" about how he worded things to get me to buy the contract. The contract for the warranty is worded i a way that they can turn it to their advantage. While you may think it cover you, it does not. So, they pulled one over on me. Caveat emptor! read more

I was a return customer at Century Chevrolet in Broomfield, Colorado to have continued servicing on my Chevrolet Blazer. On my first service visit I had repairs performed that cost me nearly $1000. This service ticket was paid in full. I was happy with the repairs and decided to have the mechanics look at an issue that I was having with my transmission. An appointment was made for me to come in for a diagnostic test on my transmission. I showed up at the scheduled time and was greeted by Mike, one of the service technicians. After checking in, Mike said that my Blazer would be looked at within the hour. I told Mike that I had my phone charging and that I needed it. He said that wasn't a problem. I waited for my phone to charge and for Mike to look at my SUV. While I waited, two Broomfield Police officers showed up, one on one side of my vehicle and the second on the other side. Both of them looking very forbidding and serious. I honestly felt that if I did not show any compliance with the officers that the incident could have an undesirable outcome. We have seen too many killings in the news where police officers claimed their lives was in danger and had no choice but to use deadly force to handle the situation. This was the last thing that I wanted to happen. I showed the officers that I had nothing in my hands and said that I was not there to start any trouble. One of the officers then asked me what I was doing there. I told them that I was a return customer with a scheduled appointment for that day to have my Blazer checked out and that I was waiting for the service technician Mike to take care of me as he said he would. Around about that time Mike, the service technician who checked me in earlier that morning, finally came up to me and asked what was wrong. I said to Mike that he might tell me what was wrong since it was someone at Century Chevrolet that had called the police on me, and for what? Mike said he would talk with the police and would let them know that I was a legitimate customer. The officers had the decency to apologize for the misunderstanding with one of them giving me his business card. Mike never told me why the police were summoned in the first place but did say that his transmission technician was 3 to 4 days out and was not able to look at my vehicle on that day, something that I am certain that Mike had known about all the while that I had been waiting. But Mike had failed to tell me any of this. Mike then assured me that he would call me to set up another appointment for a diagnostic test to see what was wrong with my transmission. With that, I drove away from Century Chevrolet feeling a bit troubled over all that had happened. The entire incident was very disturbing to say the least and I had decided to investigate the matter on the following day. The following day I spoke with the General Manager, Matt Marr, about what had happened on the day before and asked why the police were summoned and was any of it really necessary. Mr. Marr tried his best to explain it away with reasons that had nothing to do with what had happened to me. When I said that his reasons and examples were irrelevant, he then attempted to smooth things over by assuring me that Mike would call me to make another appointment to have my vehicle serviced and that the cost of the repairs would be discounted for the misunderstanding and trouble that I was put through. I figured this to be a fair resolve. Mike did call me to set up an appointment for me to come in. However, a few days later I had to call Mike to cancel this appointment and to schedule for a another time to come in because I had received an unexpected call from the cardiology department at the Veterans Administration Hospital telling me of a time that I had to go in for tests on my heart. The appointment time the VA Hospital gave me conflicted with the appointment time that Mike had given me. I had no choice but to ask Mike if there was another time that I could come in to have my vehicle looked at and his response was a bit surprising. Mike sounded a bit perturbed with my request and claimed they had to move other customer's appointments around to accommodate me. He then claimed that I had called and cancelled a total of three other appointments with their service department and because of this Mike said they would not consider looking at my vehicle and that it would be best to take my business elsewhere. Where he came up with 3 other cancelled appointments is completely unfounded. I have documentation of my second appointment that I showed up for when the police were summoned. I have Mike's text messages that he sent to me trying his best to take care of a problem that that he created. I have documentation to support all that I am saying. Beware. Century Chevrolet is the last place you'll want to go to if you're needing to have your vehicle serviced. The matter has been reported to the Better Business Bureau. read more

This review is for service only. I have had a lot of bad experience with the service departments at Chevy dealerships. From the one in Great Falls, Montana that tried to charge me $200 for an oil change ( I had to go talk to the salesman who sold me my car that knew my dad to get the price down to normal), to the shit show that is John Elway Chevrolet and most recently Ann Arbor, MI where they told me my rotors were warped and wanted $600 to GRIND them down. Last night after work the tire pressure light was on in my car. I but air in it and my guage and the machine both said the tire pressure was accurate but I figured I would get it checked anyways. I thought about taking it to some generic tire place but since I needed an oil change soon I figured I would take it to Century. I booked a time online and drove over at lunch to drop it off. The service advisors I talked to were GREAT and very friendly. I told them the rotor issue that had been diagnosed in Ann Arbor and told them I would like a quote on it and for a replacement not a grind. (Grinding rotors rarely actually works- My Montana farm girl is coming out here). Online I signed up for an oil change, tire pressure/tire problem and to balance and rotate the tires. They advisor suggested an $80 alignment and given the age of my vehicle that was appropriate. The service was quick and done by around 3:30. Turned out my rotors were not warped and I didn't need a $600 grind down or replacement I just needed my tired aligned... so $80 instead of $600. I'm glad I didn't waste my money on something that wouldn't have even fixed the problem. I had a nail in my tire and the team patched it without trying to sell me a whole new set of tires which was really nice. I was really impressed and will definitely come back! read more

Some might be wondering why I'm giving Century a 5 star rating - that seems high I know. But I have to tell you that their service department is great. So many other dealers are eager and ready to tell you your car needs repairs that it doesn't need in order to make money. But not these guys. I brought in my car recently, suspecting that I needed brakes, an air filter and a host of other high cost services. But when the service manager called to provide me an update, he told me that none of the services I mentioned were in fact needed. They advised when I should return for the full repairs, gave me some additional education on my car (which is approaching 10 years old) and sent me on my way with nothing more than an oil change and a tire rotation. I'm still surprised that Century was more concerned with the customer than their bottom line. That is rare in the automotive industry and is testament to the level of customer focus they are instilling in their staff members. If you need repairs on any General Motors product and Century is close to your home, I highly recommend them. Their honesty and integrity is something you don't often find. I have been to 6 dealerships in the past six years, some would say I am addicted to buying cars. I was in a bad situation with a lot of negative equity. I called and talked to the sales manager Sam. I briefly explained my situation to him and told me we'd be able to work something out. I was about 11K upside-down and was put into a brand new 2012 Malibu without horrible payments. I bought my truck at this dealership truck had issues right away I paid almost $47k & I put $23k down for the truck I went back to the dealership they didn't do anything till this date I have had the truck for about 3months never got a call back if I could I will take my money back. The truck has a broken left mirror/not the original one,problems when breaking, Dent,Hail damage after they told me they don't sell any hail damage vehicles I didn't see the damages in my truck since it was dark outside when I bought it, they try fixing a dent but they did a horrible job on it paint looks like a kid painted it. If I could give negative stars I would. I called on a Monday and made an appointment for Wednesday at 8 to have them check my brakes because we had to replace the pads and rotors on a 2016 Silverado LTZ after 12000 miles (which my husband did himself) because the driver side pad was completely gone and rotor ruined. I had the truck there by 8:30 on Wednesday. They didn't even start looking at it until after noon around 1pm on Wednesday and I had to call THEM late on Wednesday to find out they had "found a bulletin that they needed to replace the brake pads and rotors" and they weren't done with the truck. Sent me home to the mountains in a Chevy Cruz and I got snowed in because it snowed 28 inches at the house. They are a dealership with a garage. A front end brake job should have taken an hour. I should have been able to drive my truck home on Wednesday...before the snow storm. So we were returning the loaner the next day to pick up the truck and of course there was gravel....you know ....because of the snow... and the windshield got chipped. So now they are charging me for a new windshield on the loaner, which they will loan again and which will get more chips. The chip should have never happened had they had my truck done when they should have. They had a bunch of BS stories about a "bad batch of brake pads". Hmmm why would the brake pads on the passenger side be ok but the brake pads on the driver side be from "a bad batch"? We still think it is some thing to do with the calipers. Need to check the brakes again since we have put 5000 miles on the truck since but I won't be taking the truck back to this disorganized mess of a place. To boot, they wanted the original rotors and pads we took off when we replaced them. So we told them ahead of time to have the virtually new rotors and pads we put on that they replaced per their bulletin available for us when we picked up the truck. did they?
