A great breakfast spot at the harbor. Has the atmosphere of a nice beach-y diner. Visited family in Brookings and they suggested this place for breakfast. Boyfriend ordered the country fried steak and eggs with home fries and I ordered the cowboy with Hashbrowns. Both dishes were delicious and more than enough for 2 people. A full for a country fried steak has 2 pieces and a half has 1 piece. Even with the half, it's a lot of food. The gravy was good. Service was good despite the place being busy. Would definitely go back when I visit again.

They are amazing! Kids eat free! (Free pan cakes) Frys are my favorite crunchy and curls! Yum! I had the pinaple burger and it was amazing! Been long time since some one let me make my burger over easy!

A great place for a good solid American breakfast ... though it has a somewhat corporate chain feel, as a breakfast place, Foxy's is great. My favorite is the fisherman's breakfast: 3 eggs with ham, bacon, sausage, hash browns and pancakes -- accompanied by Twinings tea - Earl Grey for me. The dining room is pleasant with a nice view, plenty of space between tables and prompt and pleasant service.

Restaurant and restrooms were clean and tidy. The food was high quality and delicious! The atmosphere was very cozy, homey, nautical, and FOXY! Loved every bit of this experience, can't wait to try it again, the #55 is amazing! If you add avocado, sour cream, chicken, and make the cheese pepperjack and you have my personal "MJ" special. An omelette I've ordered at nearly every establishment I go to, regardless of added cost. Trust me I'm a professional taster.

Just okay breakfast @ Foxy's Restaurant in Brookings, OR. First time patrons for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Its convenient location brought us in. Staff were nice enough. Older worn booths showed its age. Crumbs on seats and floor. Food was just okay. Hollandaise sauce on the Crab Benedict was disappointing, but real crab was used, and the English muffin was perfectly toasted. Pleasantly surprised with the side of fruit. I wouldn't make it a point to come back unless it was out of convenience again.

Unfortunately I will avoid this place in the future. The service is really slow. Didn't get greeted til almost 10 minutes after sitting down. We didn't get silverware til 5 or so minutes after our food arrived. My order was made completely wrong the first time, by the time it came out again it was still wrong. Waited for ice water and a side of toast for almost the entire meal. For a side of onions (because I wasn't gonna send the meal back again) for the entire meal. No accountability for mistakes or anything to make up for it. Just the response *it was busy*. Which it was when we got there, but not for the last 30 minutes we were there, truly no good excuse for that one. The food was also mediocre and not fresh ingredients. Wouldn't come back again. read more

When we first walked in one of the waitresses was very rude to us. Then when we ordered I wanted biscuits and gravy, but they had ran out of biscuits (it was 10:00). So I got a bacon and cheese omelette, but when I took a bite of it there was onions and almost no cheese. But other than that the food wasn't bad and it was a nice restaurant. read more

My bestie and I wanted to try Foxy's and I am so glad we did!! This is a family owned and operated restaurant, so I need to give a friendly disclaimer: they are short staffed with waitresses, so be patient....I'm sure that will eventually change. What awesome food, very large portions. I will definitely go back, the burgers looked awesome as others were ordering them around me. Can't wait to try breakfast too. read more

This is a new venue here in Harbor, and it doesn't dissapoint! The owners are Jamie and Glen, very down to earth people with only your hunger satisfied as their agenda. When we ate there, they only had two other employees and one of those was their son. But let me tell you... As busy as they were our food was out so fast I was shocked! And man it was so good!! Very happy to have them in our neck of the woods!!! Stop in and get to know them!!! read more

This place is a mom and pop place they make you feel at home They treat their employees like their family the restaurant has a real homey feeling Waitresses and hostess are very attentive I check on you and make sure that everything is going up to part that coffee is amazing their salads are humongous and off the charts their food is delicious I 100% recommend this place I will be back and I've been back four times already please come and enjoy this wonderful atmosphere and great food and great company read more

Visiting in Brookings for memorial weekend looking for a place to have breakfast on Friday which was difficult as many are not open for breakfast till Saturday. Ended up finding FOXY's ..Absolutely amazing food Jamie was our server she was awesome!!! (Found out after the fact that she's the owner) we will definitely be back. What a hidden gem.!!! read more

The service was amazing with a fast seating and the owner/waitress was very prompt with drinks and food. She tried to give us suggestions of things to do around town after we asked. The food was so good, we were a party of 7 and no one had any complaints. The food was big portions! We all shared a bit of what we had within the group! This was the most rude and horrible breakfast experience I ever had. We were seated at a table near the kitchen and asked to be moved. Waited 10 minutes until waitress dragged a dirty wet towel over the table leaving crumbs. Plopped down coffee in cracked mug with a floating bug. Sneered when I asked for cream. Came back 5 min later and threw one menu on table, told us she didn't have another but passed out 4 to other customers 2 min later and took their order first. Eggs and grits were undercooked. Just rolled eyes and cleared table when told. Disgusting!!!! Do not go! read more

Foxy's needs to hire more staff. We were told to seat ourselves but no silverware on table until after the meal was delivered. Never got water but felt bad for staff so didn't bother. Took a long time to order, then needed to ask for sugar and half and half for coffee. Just a few staffing tweaks and this would be great. Food was fine. Grits instead of potatoes - Hooray. read more

The food is fine. Prices are fine. Staff is fine. The service is horrible. Not because of the servers but because of the lack of servers. It takes forever to get your table cleaned. Forever to order. Once ordered the food comes in reasonable time. This place is clearly under staffed and they said it is always like this. We came on a Tuesday! Obviously the owners are too cheap to hire staff. They even charge 3 percent if you use a credit card. Only eat here if you have nothing else to do! read more

Great ambiance in their new location at the Port, with beautiful ocean views. Food and service were excellent! I ordered an omelette with home fries and toast. My husband ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious! I have always had great food and service at Foxy's. read more

Dropped in for breakfast this morning and were really impressed. I ordered an omelette with bell pepper and avocado, the veggies were fresh and avocado was nice and green not a single brown spot! Each of my kids got a FREE happy face pancake that they loved. My mom ordered eggs and potatoes and said it was delicious. Generous portions and fresh ingredients. Definitely will be back next time I'm in Brookings. read more

We thought we'd try this place e out. They were not busy, yet we sat there for 20 minutes before someone offered us a menu. While waiting we noticed the lady fixing food never washed her hands after wiping down the counter or touching her face e & hair. We also noticed they use a lot of canned food & vegetables. We sat there another 15 minutes waiting and opted to leave looking for a cleaner place to eat. We don't recommend this place at all. read more

It was so Good for Breakfast we went back for Dinner. My husband had the Rueben sandwich and it was really good and I had a cup of clam chowder and it was pretty good, fresh and they made my sandwich by what I wanted and it was really good. For breakfast my husband had the Meat Lovers Omelette and he said it was Excellent. I had 1/2 a Chicken Fried Steak and my Over Medium eggs are prefect and we both had the fried home fried Potatoes, yummy. read more

Unlike others who have reviewed Foxy's, we had great service at lunchtime today. Very attentive and friendly. I thought the food was solid; it's above-average diner food. Everyone in my party enjoyed what they got. The onion rings were particularly good. Bottomless sodas are also a plus. Eating a club sandwich outside on a beautiful day watching fog come rolling over the trees is tough to beat. read more

I always give a new restaurant three chances. I've been to this one 6 times. One must be patient, and understand that finding employees in this area is sometimes difficult. Understaffed for sure. But... those who are working are pushed to the max. The portions are more than ample. Good breakfasts, especially the Chicken Fried Steak. Eggs are well prepared. Good hashbrowns. Many good Sandwiches, I tried the Beef French Dip, and the Ruben, also the Patty Melt. Enjoyed the Catfish feed on Friday night! One does not leave hungry. The WTF Burger is truly a mouthful! In time ordering and food delivery time will improve. It's worth the wait. owners are pleasant. Biggest bowl of Oatmeal in town. read more

Foxy's is okay. I didn't like their menu so I had the jalapeño poppers for breakfast. They aren't the ideal breakfast but they were good and I wasn't hungry when I left. My partner had fried eggs, hash browns, and toast and they were okay. The service was good. read more

We went in during a slower period (place was maybe 3/4 full). Staff were extremely rude. They refilled the coffees all around us. We had to beg for a refill for our table. The coffee was noticably weak. Our very basic food order took a long time to come out and tables seated later than us got their food first. The food was standard for the price and the restaurant was clean enough, which is why it gets two stars. They had a grossly violent Western movie playing we had to prevent our kids from watching by facing them away. read more

The vibe is exactly what you expect from a awesome little Irish pub. Lots of beer artwork on the walls, cool little tree of life art, and the friendliest staff you'll ever find. The bartender Holly was the most friendly bartender I've had in I feel like a decade or more, and the bar back Josh was pretty awesome himself. He gave us some wonderful tips for some other places to eat at as we travel around the state, and all in all both of them gave us some pretty epic conversation. We almost never said at the bar, we decided to this time and I'm so glad that we did! The food was so so, nothing to really write home about but nothing really wrong either. It's bar food, you get what you expect when you go to an Irish pub. Taco Tuesday was well worth it, I'm a pescatarian so I had the fish taco and then tried their awesome potato taco and enjoyed the potato taco the most actually! I wouldn't pay what they normally charge for these tacos, they're pretty basic and the tortillas are not grilled nearly enough, but Taco Tuesday made three tacos only $10.50 and I could mix and match between all the different types so that was totally worth it! My wife tried the honey mustard chicken salad and unfortunately it did not live up to what she had hoped for. It was a really basic salad the veggies were fresh which was fortunate but it was basic, nothing was really seasoned, the honey mustard dressing didn't taste like mustard at all and the chicken was basic breaded chicken that tasted like it was from Dairy Queen. Our order took a little longer than expected for what we ordered but we didn't mind, we had some nice blackberry cider they had on tap to tide us over. I was a little disappointed when our meals came out and I didn't get a slice of bread with my bowl of clam chowder like the fellow did with his steamers, but we were able to buy a half batard for $5 and that was perfect for us to split. It came out warm with a side of butter and complimented the chowder much nicer than the oyster crackers they originally brought out would have. In fact I recommend getting the bread if you order the chowder, it almost stole the show. The chowder was delicious, could've been warmer but still very tasty, the potatoes were cut super thin, and the clams were plump and tender and tasted fresh, they did add bacon but not in overwhelming amounts, and I thought it was spiced perfectly. I only added a few shakes of red pepper flakes to finish it. The fellow thought his steamer clams/mussels were marvelous, with a very flavorful broth, and he loved the fact that he was allowed to mix them. They made a good first impression on us, we will definitely be returning for dinner and ordering a couple of pizzas and perhaps a salad as well. Who knows, they may prove to be one of our new favorite spots.

Our meals came out, patty melt, cheeseburger, fish and chips, and crispy oyster appetizer. Wait...what? Why didn't the crispy oyster come out with the shooter? Our daughter enjoyed her patty melt. My crispy oysters and fish and chips were OK, nothing to write home about. Also, the server did not ask how I wanted my fish and chips since the menu offers them deep fried or grilled. They came deep fried. Either way is fine with me but if there is an option, the server should know that and ask. After our meals, we ordered two slices of brown butter cake and instead were served two pieces of mile high chocolate cake. At this point, it was useless to complain to the unattentive server. Probably won't go back.

My wife ordered the Agedashi Tofu & Pork Gyozas and I had a couple of rolls, the spicy Rouge and a plain Jane salmon, avocado and cucumber roll. Everything was fantastic. The fish was super fresh, the tofu cooked perfectly and the gyoza sauce tangy and yummy. We only had a couple of small issues, more personal preferences really. 1 - my wife enjoyed the tofu, but the dish is described as having an agedashi broth but really it was more of a thicker style sauce smeared on the plate the tofu was placed on. It didn't really have a true broth. 2 - the habanero marmalade was not spicy. The roll was described as a spicy roll, but the marmalade was sweet. Unfortunately, the jalapeños were sweet as well. I know they can't control capsaicin in peppers, but that marmalade needs way more habanero. It would be WONDRFUL on toast though! Note: looking at their menu now they have updated this roll to replace the marmalade with a "tangy sesame". I look forward to trying this to see the difference. If you want a wonderful coastal option that isn't fish & chips, give Pacific Sushi a try.
