If we we could review with no stars I would. We have been waiting for our new equipment since December. It's May. We wanted to cancel our services because of not using their service because we never received the new equipment. When we were told we needed new equipment they had us sign an agreement for the Equipment. You know the equipment we never received. When we called today we finally had enough and asked to cancel our service. Evidently we would have to pay $300 to cancel our service because we signed that agreement for the equipment, that we cant use, because it never was sent to us..... Do not go with these guys. If you only send out a small amount of mail a week its cheaper just to get stamps. read more

FP provide a PostBase (Insight) / EP030470 for use. The machine stopped working after 7 months. Technical support failed to come up with a solution after two long trouble shooting phone calls, so FP determined that the machine needed to be replaced. The company failed to send a replacement for 3 months and has continued to charge monthly fees despite their equipment being non-functional. Each follow up call was at least a 30 minute fiasco with each department / agent blaming the other departments / agents for the issues. I would highly recommend finding a different company to work with. read more

I put in for a quote for the business I work for. A woman called who stumbled over the entire conversation, which made me very nervous. She was very pushy about signing up that day. I explained I was not the person who would make the decision, I was just trying to get a quote to give to my boss. She continued several more times saying "if we can sign you up now I can give you xyz discount." She asked if I wanted her to call back on a few days to see if we wanted to purchase and I told her no, that if my boss was interested he would contact them directly. She even attempted one more time to get me to sign up thst day. Fast forward, I just got a call from a man would sounded foreign, and the background was super loud. Very concerning, and unprofessional. He said he was calling from FP solutions and Said "about the postage machine, do you remember that?" To me thats not a very professional way to greet the potential client your talk to, as a customer service representative myself. I said yes, I do. But, I asked her not to follow up that I was going to talk to my boss, and that I wasn't the final approval he would call if he was interested. Before I could get my whole sentence out he hung up on me. HUGE RED FLAG!! If we do decide to purchase a postage machine it definitely won't be with this company. read more

IF I can rate this Company lower, I would. Rented a postage machine from them, when I had issues, they just don't return your calls or help fix the issue. I left voicemails, emails, sent messages on their website for support....TOTAL SILENCE. I only got a call after I stopped paying them, it took 6 months for them to call me back. The machine was not used during this time. When they called I simply said, I'm sending back the machine, let me know the cost to terminate the contract. I'm done with this Company. Really horrible customer service. Their faulty machines will misprint labels that are then illegible and unusable. The post office cannot refund illegible labels and this company will not credit our account even though it was their faulty machine that caused the issue and our loss of money. Despite sending them proof that all of their equipment has been returned, I continue to receive invoices for the $3.00 rental fee for equipment that has been returned. Every month I seem to have an issue with connectivity and being locked out. This month when I called FP, Terrance C, was not really enthused to help me resolve my issue. Having to figure out whitelisting the IP address when the system has been working for numerous years before. Completely unsatisfied with this organization, especially my sales person Marcell Ross. He was not forthcoming regarding shipping costs. He indicated that the cartridges would yield 4,000 imprints. However, what he neglected to indicate was that the cartridges supplied with the meter only had 100 imprints on it. I now have to make a $137 purchase for cartridges based on false information. Thankfully, my company only signed a contract for one year and that is one year too many! read more

The absolute worst company ever. I contacted the company to let me out of contract three days prior to it ending and they still want to charge me for the year ahead 2025. The product was misrepresented it is not wireless so we have to physically carry it to plug it into the internet every three days. I have been on hold for 33 minutes trying to talk to someone regarding our failed PostBase 20. Why do they not answer the phone in their service department? Do they have so many customers unhappy that they can't answer the phone in a timely manner? I've been a client of FP Mailing since around 2010. Prior to using them I was with Pitney Bose. Pitney was just robbing me blind. It's a direct debit from your account setup so they can really help themselves. FP has never taken advantage of my trust. Terrible customer service ! I ordered a new ink cartridge, which are very expensive, and received an email saying I would receive another email with a tracking number. A week later, my card charged. No tracking number. Waited on hold for over an hour to the 800 number on the customer site. gave up. Looked to Yelp. Called the 630 number here and pressed the number for billing. got a human in 10 seconds, and was given the tracking number. Really it shouldn't be this hard! read more

The actual mailing machine is nice and easy to use but their customer service is the worse because it doesnt exist!!! When I was first installing it I was able to find someone's email and he slightly helped me with my questions. Now, the machine is saying to replace the ink, when I have 86%, and I cant reach anyone in Customer service FOR DAYS!!! I'm on hold for over an hour each time I call with the same damn annoying song over and over again....and nothing! I've emailed their customer service, including the original representative and NOTHING! I dont understand how someone can have a business and not help their customers. Like everyone mentioned the customer service is dreadful, emails don't get answered, the contact us page that you send inquiries too, you get no response. Almost always on hold for an hour if the call doesn't terminate and you have to start all over. I am having issued with ink cartridges not being recognized when they are 97% full. This has been an on going issue with the ink cartridges for the last 6 months and two different machines. And apparently this still has not been resolved. So with the machine down we have to go waste our time and money going to the post office. Completely unprofessional custom service. We have been a loyal customer of FP Solutions for many years. When the most recent contract was coming up for renewal one or our former employees who had no authority to bind us for a long term (63 month) contract signed the agreement with no notice to management. Several years into the contract we realized this equipment was far more than our company needed, reviewed the agreement and was shocked to find it was a five year deal. Given our almost 10 year history as a loyal customer with the company we very nicely and in our opinion appropriately requested they allow us to return the postage meter one year prior to the contract expiration. We will see if this gets resolved in a customer friendly manner but at this point with no notice of any further balance due after we returned the equipment, the next correspondence we received was a letter from a collections attorney. I would be very cautious doing business with this company. read more

You get what you pay for. Yes, FP is a lot cheaper than Quadient and Pitney but you have to invest a lot of time for support. We have problems with our ink cartridges - system uses 60% of the ink and then locks up. FP admits that there are difficulties with this product, but hasn't resolved them in 4 months. When we purchased the machine the sales guy said if there was ever a problem you get 2 day shipping on parts to remedy the problem. First, you have to call them - yesterday I was on hold with my first attempt for 1 hour and 25 minutes before they just terminated the call. The second time was 45 minutes. Meanwhile you listen to their propaganda about how wonderful their German-engineered products are (not) and how your business means so very much to them (double not). We've had problems with cartridges twice in 3 months and each time it took a week to receive replacement cartridges. On the call yesterday the CSR said they were doing inventory and said they weren't shipping out any supplies. Later he said that the cartridges were on backorder and that's why they waited until Friday to ship (7 business days to delivery). So a week passed before they even shipped the product! Worse, FP locked the machine twice because we didn't pay for the replacement units which were supposed to be no charge! On the call with my most recent request for a credit the guy said, "you have to pay this charge, there is no getting out of it." How insulting! My business always pays what is owed! But I'm not going to pay when they owed the product to me! It took 3 months to get to a supervisor who actually issued the credit. FP performance is a huge disappointment. And I have 4 years and 2 months remaining on the lease. You can bet I will renew with a company that offers local service. Two thumbs down. read more

I've been on hold three times and each time they hang up. i hooked the ethernet cord up and now the machine is locked up saying rpin is incorrect to call customer service. I've emailed nothing. Never written a review. This is the one time where consumers need to be warned about a company so I feel compelled to write it. If you look at the hundreds of 1 star reviews, that should tell you all you need to know about this company. I was a customer for many years and their meters became faulty. I wanted to cancel, so I returned the meters. They informed me over the phone that they write off the rest of the contract as long as the meters are returned. I get stuck with a bill for the remaining lease. They also send an aggressive lawyer after you. All this for a stamp machine? Go elsewhere or just buy stamps lol... not worth the hassle with this outfit. read more

Horrible customer service. I requested a cancellation over 100 days before the end of the contract (when there is a 90 day cancellation policy), sent in the machine with all of their requirements (shipped via usps and minimal $3k insurance on it) a month before the end of the contract, under certified mail. Guess what happened, still got a bill for the whole next year to pay within a month.. Don't even bother with this company is easy to sign up, but impossible to reach customer service. The machine take forever to start up and almost each day you have to restart it and download a balance which requires to be there to press buttons to download postage and take about 3-5 mins to finish downloading. Worst customer service, if you need a machine better to pay extra for better service like neopost than to work with a company who has a two hour phone wait. read more

I have now been on hold for 23 min.. Every 3rd or 4th time, I cannot get the meter to teleset.. what a PITA! EDIT #1: I was on hold for almost an hour today. I was on hold for almost an hour until I finally called a number I found on LinkedIn from my cell phone instead of the office line, and it was answered on the 3rd ring.. I proceeded to get help while the office line continued to hold.. Dan Fotopoulos helped me. Good guy, and it is not his fault that I was cranky at him- which he handled like a pro- but FP mailing needs to answer its tech support calls in a more timely fashion. read more

Worst company you can do businness with, don't use them. I purchase some ink one week prior to the pandemic and lock down ( 116$ for a small cartridge), ink was over 90% ful,l due to not being used because of the pandemic, the ink froze, I called them for an exchange they refused, when it is time for cancellation, they give you the run around and threaten you with Federal action, Customer Support is extremely bad. We have had FP since 2015. We have tried several years to cancel. We are told it has to be 90 days before but then we are told it has to be within the 90 days. They will never accept our letter of cancellation. We wait again for the next year and it happens all over again. Worse customer service. I have spent several days waiting on hold for over an hour (missing Customer calls to do this) and then get hung up on. All I want is to cancel my contract. They make it impossible. Becoming more disillusioned with company. It's like the girl with the curl. When they're good, they're very very good but when they're bad, it is horrible! Whole customer support application down since weekend and no idea as to when they'll be back up? And when I did finally reach someone, found out they do not have the ability to send notifications to all their customers?? Adding insult to injury is the fact that every time you call, you -have- to listen thru their entire voice messaging system. There should be a way to bypass the messages so you can actually get to speak to someone! I have spent 4.5 hours on hold concerning a failure to sync issue. At one point I was connected to a tech who said he needed to transfer me and then disconnected me. I completed a request on their website for support and nobody has contacted me. I tried to contact other people, if you call new sales you get a person immediately, unfortunately they will not help. This company is the bastard love child of everything bad from the postal service coupled with the customer service level of Comcast. We have been moderately satisfied customers for several years, until recently when our machine stopped working. FP Mailing blamed the ink we were using because it was from a third party (we had used that ink for 3.5 years before that without issue). They sent us another machine and charged us $248.00 for 2 ink cartridges. Then, the new machine they sent stops working. Their solution is to have someone from my company reload postage every 72 hours. If we do not, we have to call their customer service line and have them manually reactivate our machine. They said this is a new procedure and it was never disclosed to my company. They also have this neat little auto-renew provision where they try to charge you $600 to get out of a contract even when they fail to provide a functioning machine. Additionally, when they sent us the cancellation, they are now charging us for the remaining lease for FOUR machines when we only have one. They are unbelievably underhanded and inefficient. I cannot warn you to stay away enough. read more

The absolute worst company to deal with. They will send you one defective machine after another and still expect that you will pay the quarterly lease payment even though you do not have a working postage machine! Good luck trying to work it out with someone over the phone! just walk away. At this point, buying stamps at your local post office is a better way to go. As everyone else on here says, the customer service is non-existent. I too had trouble with printer cartridges saying they were empty when they were full. I tried for months to get someone to respond and say on hold with no one coming to the phone. Finally after about 6 months someone answered me and told me I was a valuable customer (ummm, I don't think so). I said I wanted instructions on how to return the machine and get our postage back (we are owed $400 in postage that was on the machine). This was in December that I returned the machine and followed the instructions on how to request postage returned. The guy to told me I was a valuable customer, now won't respond to me that he even received the machine back (I have proof from USPS it was delivered) or help me get my postage back. Do NOT use this company. read more

ATTENTION CONSUMERS: I HIGHLY do NOT recommend involving yourself and/or business. I consider myself to be a patient, fair and understanding person, however I have been pushed to limits of no return by the "customer service" team and if at all possible would rate FP Mailing Solutions -5 stars. I have been with my company for a little over two years, and since the beginning I've experienced many issues with not only the FP equipment, but worse, the Customer Service team at FP. I can 100% honestly say that I have never been treated so badly by a company. Over the past two years, I've reached out to the support team with constant issues revolving the overpriced defective ink, to troubleshooting and simply getting the equipment to work. After the unprofessional "help" I've received with zero resolution, I started purchasing stamps for our office and visiting our local post office more frequently. Unfortunately, I realized after my conversations with the customer service team this was the only option available to avoid wasting time and being verbally abused. This morning I called to cancel our services, and the treatment I received from Brian in the contracts team was absolutely terrible. He even had the audacity to insinuate that I was lying about my past experiences with the company as well as told me that the reason "they" treated me so poorly was because of MY attitude. I then requested to speak with a manager and at first he refused, then said that he would transfer me to the managers voicemail. I asked for his name and he smugly said "Brian". I then attempted to ask for an operator ID# and he transferred me without so much as letting me know he was doing so. I left a message on the machine for George Akins and I am hopeful that he is more helpful and professional. As far as the equipment; In my experience, it's certainly much more work than it should be for the customer, and is a huge waste of not only time but, more importantly money. In the two years I've been with my company I've had success using it maybe 5% of the time. We are under contract and even though we have had little to no luck being able to use the machine at all, they refuse to cancel the contract or offer any options as far as sending someone to fix the issues/ replace the defective equipment.
