After the pandemic its impossible to get these people on the phone. A few months ago we had a dead machine and after 2 weeks of calling and emailing we got someone on the phone after a 3 hour wait and they just said ok we will send you a replacement machine. Now, that new machine is down and again I can't get help. Was on hold this morning for an hour and 45 min and they disconnected the call (i had started with 6 people ahead of me in line), when I called back there were 17 people ahead of me...I've been on for an hour now (so 2 hours 45 min total so far) and no luck. It reminded me this happened frequently last time we needed help, also when they close they will drop calls about 10 minutes prior since they know they wont get to you. The emails sent were NEVER responded to. I don't understand how this can be one of the 3 or 4 USPS approved postage meter services. We had Pitney Bowes for 20 years prior and never had these issues and only switched to FP in 2019 and have been very disappointed with the customer service since 2020. Pay more for PB, the hours spent on the phone by office staff is more than the cost savings. read more

FP really values my business and it is so obvious when I have literally spent hours and hours on hold only to get disconnected over and over, one time after waiting 1 hour 56 minutes and 56 seconds on hold and today after 2 hours 10 minutes and 13 seconds. Where do I even begin with this crappy company? We've had problems with our ink ever since we changed it about 4 months ago. After being on hold for over an HOUR each time we call in, their "solution" to our ink problem is "take out the ink cartridges and clean them on a damp paper towel". This didn't work the first time they told us to do that nor did it work the 5th time. I finally called a local sales rep company. They couldn't help because we didn't get our equipment from them, but she called FP using a different number. FP called me pretty quickly after that. The woman who called finally did more than tell us to "clean" the cartridges. She said they would send out another set of ink cartridges, at no charge. The next day we received an email stating that our machine would ship out in a day or two....WHAT?? Nothing was ever said about a new machine!! We are starting our busy season. We send out several organizers and need our postage machine. In the middle of putting postage on our envelopes, we needed to add postage because we ran out. While adding the postage, the machine came back with an error "Machine is temporarily locked out". I called yesterday and never go through. I called today and after an hour on hold, I reached Lori. She was very nice, helpful, and thoughtful. She checked on why we were locked out. It was because of the new machine that they sent out to us. I will say that Lori Bassett was wonderful to deal with and I would definitely recommend her but, I DO NOT RECOMMEND FP. THEY ARE THE WORST COMPANY EVER. Their wait time is HORRIBLE. Their equipment is not good. We are unfortunately stuck in a contract for another 2 years or we would be sending back their equipment. Wow. I am only 6 months into my contract and now I can't buy postage or get through to any customer service reps. I will have to pay an additional 5 cents per mailed letter over metered rates when I go buy stamps at the post office. I sent an email to the FP sales person that sold me on this fabulous system, but have little hope of any response as I am sure he has already earned his commission and won't care. How is it possible that a system cannot get back up after more than a WEEK? This feels like way more than a website issue. This feels like the employees came to work and the doors were locked. Machine will not connect for days. I have been calling for days . I have been on hold sometimes for three - four hours just for the phone to hang up , disconnect, or get a message saying call back. Our corporate office sent us a machine from FP Mailing, with instructions to set up the account. I opened the box, and we were missing 2 vital pieces - the power supply and power cord. I called customer service, held for 45 minutes, a guy told me he would overnight the parts. I received the box, it had a power supply only, no cord. I called again, this time I held for over an hour. A rep told me they would ship the parts overnight. That was on 8/13/21. We finally received the box today on 8/18/21, and once again, not correct! This time they sent 2 of the same power supplies, so now I have 3, and the power cord they sent does not fit the power supply! I called again, was on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the system told me they were having issues and I'd have to call back. What in the heck? Every time I call, there is a long line of at least 15 or 20 people on hold in front of me. That tells me that they aren't doing a very good job. How hard is it to ship one, single, correct power cord? We've been trying to resolve this now for over a month. I wish our corporate office had chosen another company, this is ridiculous. *****Update: as of 8/24/21, I STILL have not received the part we need for the machine. I did get a response here from the company, and a customer rep named Brian did call me right away on 8/18. He assured me we would have the correct part by Friday, 8/20. The mailing machine in our office stopped working and will not connect. It keeps stating up sync by uploading zero postage. But it takes twenty minutes and never connects. We have called the customer service line SIX times. The first time I was on hold for an hour no one picked up, the second time the line was so busy it stated to call back at a later time, the third time I was fourth in line and I was on hold an hour and still no one picked up. Then we were on hold for an hour and it hung up on us! I work for a school and we need to mail things out. Very frustrated that no one picks up the phone. It has been a week of calling. If I could give no stars I would certainly give this company nothing for customer service. I received a new POSTBASE METER, the new meter was installed and I wanted a return ship mailing label to return the old POSTBASE METER. Contacted customer service during normal working hours and was put on hold for 45 MINUTES waiting for someone to answer. I then spoke Ethan, was told the server was down and they could not sent our the mailing label and he did not know when a label was forthcoming. I ask to speak to a supervisor, they were gone for the day and he had no ideal when they would be able to print a label. I received the following note the next morning from "Angela Maria Crawford |Tier 3 Associate, Customer Experience Team" indicating the following "Our FedEx manager has been down since our servers went down a few weeks ago. We have are keeping track of accounts that need return labels. When the program is fixed a return label will be sent to return the old postage meter!" Really, what does FedEx manager have to do with your customer service staff not answering the telephone. This is not the first time I've contacted this company and had to wait over 20 MINUTES to speak to a customer service representative. I like the equipment, but hate the service. read more

I need software to comm with my machine but am unable to do so so can't add any customers to machine. There is no customer service! I've called three times only to be on hold for about 2 hours, then they just say they are having technical problems and hang up. Incredible waste of time. Ordered my machine on 10/14...got it in about a week, but no wireless device...so took another 2 weeks for them to send that...it arrived but didn't work. I went with the wired set-up, sent a check for $1,007 for postage, which has cleared, and it shows $1,000 postage available on my account, but they won't let me download any $$ to the machine. WARNING!!! This company will tell you anything to get you to rent a meter. Went through hell for 4 hours to simply install the meter. 4 calls to support that lied to me and told me it was normal and to just keep waiting. After another hour of waiting, another person tells me "hmmm that doesn't sound right ... unplug it and try again..." Machine (Postbase Mini) went into an endless loop of rebooting ... Called again and told them I just want to return it and chalk it up to experience. They said they signed me to a one year contract (never signed any such thing) and they would bill be for the whole year. That is after charging me a full month at the rental rate, proving there is no contract. Run screaming from these people. They make PB seem like saints! ZERO Star Review. Quite possibly the WORST experience I've ever had with any company in any industry. I signed a 12 month agreement for a postage meter which I set up with no issues. I had a couple of technical issues over the next few months, but found their customer service to be adequate and fixed my issues right away. When I returned the postage meter is when everything came unraveled. After my experience with them, I am stunned as to why the federal government can consider this company an authorized postage provider with what I consider deceptive practices. Here is my experience: I called prior to the end of the 12 months and said I wanted to return it. The person I talked to said there was a 90 day period prior to the end of the 12 months otherwise it would auto-renew for another 12 months. I pulled out my contract and said, nope. Thats not on my contract, I'm looking right at it. It says "Term of Contract: 12 months". NOTHING about an auto-renewal. They sent me instructions on sending it back which I did. Then we get a bill for 12 more months of payments because we didn't cancel prior to the 90 days. I called back and said again, I'm looking at my Contract we signed and nothing on it says there is an auto-renewal. This is when customer service got really NASTY. Oh my gawd, the way these people starting talking to me, and even one of the managers was so nasty, condescending, yelling.....every description you can think of talking down to you are the tactics they used. Apparently, on my contract there is a little box that is checked that we looked at the terms and conditions online. Because we checked the box, thats where the lovely auto-renewal was. ONLINE. BURIED on Page 5 of a 6 page terms and conditions that you have to go online to go see!!! Are you kidding me!?! We've signed contracts before with an auto-renewal, and it is ON. YOUR. SIGNED. CONTRACT. I argued back and forth through the Better Business Bureau and even with a manager at FP who got nastier and nastier. After my experience and seeing other similar reviews, I am extremely suspicious as to how they have such a high rating with the Better Business Bureau. Why do they have an A+ rating with so many complaints?!? The BBB says it sets "high ethical standards for business conduct." If you read their business partner code of conduct standards, they talk about "trust" and "integrity". In my opinion, not being up front on a contract about an auto-renewal and putting it on page 5 of a terms and conditions you need to go online to see does not meet the BBB's "high ethical standards". If there was an auto-renewal, why not put it on the signed contract like other companies do? I have my suspicions why.... read more

PLEASE READ!!!! FP MAILING SOLUTIONS will say "you can only cancel within the 90 day window prior to your contract auto renewing". This is how they scam SO many customers!! The contract actually states that it has to be done 90 days prior to the term, so not within the window but before! Oh man, here we go. I thought I had them but I guess I was wrong.. according to what I was told, and what the people in these reviews were told, you need to cancel within 90 days before the contract auto renews, and not before that 90 day mark. I had requested cancellation back in October of 2015, at which time we were told "according to your contract cancellation can only be made within 90 days of your contract start date" Well... I was told today that "We require a 90 day cancellation prior to term. We did not receive such request." Basically they are now saying that they need notice BEFORE the 90 days, not during. Or maybe it's that it has to be EXACTLY 90 days prior. I wouldn't be surprised. Anyways, here is my history with FP in regards to cancellation. I called in to FP Mailing Solutions on 4/14/2016 to request cancellation (I had actually already sent in an email on 4/4/2016 with no response requesting cancellation). So I call in on the 14th of April, and am told by George that to cancel (funny he didn't mention I was supposed to have done it before now because it is now less than 90 days before auto renew) George says all we have to do to cancel is send back our Post Base. Honestly, considering how deceitful this company has been, and how shady they do business, I didn't believe him. So in addition to sending the machine back with tracking because I knew they would lie about when or if it was received, I sent a written statement with information I had regarding conversations with FP Mailing Solutions, why we were cancelling, and a notice that if we had received any more invoices from FP that were invalid we would pursue legal action against FP. Unfortunately it appears it has come to that point, in addition to lying about when the machine was received, they auto renewed our contract and sent us absurd invoices for machines we don't have and services that have been cancelled. At this point it isn't even about the invoices, it is about the unethical business practices by this company, and the awful contracts that they con you into. read more

I'm just going to paste the email I just wrote on their Contact Us form on their worthless customer service site here: About a month ago I first contacted your customer service department via this web site explaining that our recently purchased ink wasn't making a full imprint. I provided pictures. I never received a message back. Some time last week I put in another request via this web site for the faulty ink to be replaced. Again, no response. I called your customer service line and reported the problem (after 40 minutes on hold waiting in the queue). I was told that the problem was a faulty print head, not ink, and the customer service department said we'd have to switch out the machine. We waited for it to come in and dutifully did so-- sending the old printer back and reinstalling the (faulty) ink. The ink was not accepted by the machine, which said it was the wrong temperature, despite the fact that it had not left our office. I called the customer service line and reported the faulty ink again. Another 40 minutes in queue to be run through a series of troubleshooting exercises that confirmed my assertion (from a month prior) that indeed the ink was faulty. We were down another couple of days with no machine while we waited for new ink to arrive. The new ink arrived, and I installed it. Then I got a message on the (new to us) machine saying our battery was almost dead and must be replaced immediately. I could go no further. Another 40 minutes in queue. Again, I ran through a few troubleshooting exercises which confirmed that the battery was dead and would require replacement. I was warned not to replace the battery with a standard AA as that would void our warranty. Once again we were down. I waited for the new battery to arrive. Today the battery arrived. I installed it. Got the machine running but none of our department codes came through, and now I get a message on the software that interfaces with the machine saying "Your version of Reportone has expired. Please visit the FP Portal or contact your local FP dealer to extend your usage period." I am in queue again -- currently sitting at 31 minutes and 47 seconds. I am always 8th in queue. At every step in this process when I've finally reached a customer service rep they've ensured me I will never have to wait in queue again, that I have only to email them and they will call me and assist right away. I have a stack of emails and a phone log that says that's false. At this point I have spent many hours on hold with your company and MY company, which I am supposed to be actively running right now, has been without a reliable machine for over a month. Ironically today we got returned mail from the IRS for insufficient postage-- for the poor imprint we were getting from the bad ink. I am now requesting some kind of financial consideration for the drain your company has been on mine. I would appreciate a contact within 48 hours. If I do not receive some kind of contact via either email or phone to discuss what that remuneration will be, I will be filing a complaint with the Illinois State Attorney General's office and/or filing a claim against your company. Do NOT use FP mailing solutions I have tried to contact customer service over ten times and have NEVER been able to talk to an actual person. The system does not even allow you to hold. Instead it tells you to call back. I read every page of the website and did not find an answer to my question before I tried to contact support. Hard to believe that with all these negative reviews people do business with this company...sorta wish my employer would have choose someone else as I am experiencing less that desirable attitudes (I would love to put their names but that would just cause me more drama). Love the recording "we are currently experiencing high call volume"....yea, with all the negative comments I find it hard to believe that they have that many customers. The semi auto feeding machine does not auto feed in any sense of the word "auto". The most basic requests to support require weeks to complete and call back after call back. We went through 2 sales managers and a handful of support staff before 1 nice young lady was nice enough to help us. Postage meter salesman stated that cost savings from meter discounts would more than offset the ink cartridge, etc. supply costs. I signed the contract while on the phone with him, and he agreed to get me the exact postage and supply cost rates prior to mailing the meter. Never heard back from him, and the meter showed up the following week. No instructions, unclear how to find rates and order supplies. I literally called them about 20 times over the next 3 months, spend hours navigating ridiculous phone menus, and at the end of each call still could not get a person. I finally gave up and returned the meter without ever taking it out of the box or using it. They then billed me almost $1,100 for the full 3 years of meter rental, which I disputed. Then today their collection attorney called me and insulted me to the point that I hung up on him. Between this company and their attorney I have never been treated so unprofessionally by a vendor in my 32 years of business. Avoid this company like the plague. read more

The saga continues. I received a machine after watching their videos and speaking with their rep. I was promised something faster and better than my Neopost. Turns out, what they sent, I could lIck stamps faster. I tried to exchange it. I contacted them to try and get a different piece of equipment for another aspect of my business. Nope. So I boxed it up and continued to pay the lease but used my Neopost instead. About two years go by and i was deliberty late so I could get their attention. What I got was shanken down by their attorney, BUT I got out of the contract (heafty price) and shipped the machine back. TODAY, I got another invoice for a$559.57. I called their customer service rep and she said I'm still obiligated to the contract for another 1 1/2 years! 1. Their attorney is worse than them. 2. Someone needs to shut these folks down! The Mafia should have such a racket as them. 3. I won't be paying this or any invoice EVER. In case they read this. 4. I'll pay 4 times this to may attorney, why, because he's worth it. 5.
