Can't go wrong at fractured prune for a fresh hot donut made to order. Quick and friendly service in a cute little space. Stopped in with the kids and had a small sample of deliciousness.

Woah may be the best donut I've had in a while. Even the plain donut is delicious. They make them fresh right in front of you. Tons to choose from and they offer coffee and sandwiches. Make sure to study the menu to figure out what you want before going. You can order online too. The owner was so nice, that alone is worth it to come back!

What a great spot -- so underrated. This has a nice mix of the cake and apple cider donuts. My partner got the banana chocolate and I got the monkey donut 2 for $5-- they were so fresh and warm. Also, the banana chocolate iced latte was phenomenal. The owner seemed like a very nice and genuine guy & came to check on us as we tried the donuts. Loved it!

    Supposedly a cream donut.

Service was so slow. Absolutely no flavor. Insane price for what I received. I don't mind paying for quality , but if this is the best OC has I feel sorry for them. Oh and they got the order wrong. If you are going to charge that much I expect perfection.

I have long known Fractured Prune as a staple at the OCMD/DE beaches but noticed a few locations pop up in Jersey Shore a few years ago. After years of being loyal to our local shops I decided to try it out. First off, their menu is MASSIVE. Their donuts are similar to many fried donut shops down here where each variety starts as a fresh, hot, fried donut and is then topped with your specific order. However, I have never seen a menu this extensive. Inside, the shop is small but there is ample seating outside. They also travel pretty well and even taste a little better once they have cooled down a bit but more on that later. We ordered a half dozen donuts: Carnival (Honey Glaze, Rainbow Sprinkles), Lumberjack (Maple Glaze, Bacon, Cinnamon Sugar), Peppermint Patty (Mint Glaze, Chocolate Mini Chips), Twix (Chocolate Glaze, Graham Cracker and Caramel Drizzle), Strawberry Shortcake (Strawberry Glaze, Graham Crackers, Powdered Sugar), Vanilla Streusel (special - vanilla glaze w streusel topping). I'm not exaggerating when I say they were HOT. Maybe too hot... they honestly started to taste better as they cooled. These would be better to take home and enjoy in my opinion. All in all, I really enjoyed this place. It doesn't have the same atmosphere as Nauti Donuts or Browns but they are definitely great. The line also tends to be shorter so this is a good place to grab some on your way home!

Never was a fan of donuts until I tried a fractured prune donut in Elizabethtown 12 years ago. Most amazing donuts out there!

My wife Fran and I were delighted to return to the Fractured Prune. The donuts and coffee were awesome as always (though so hard to choose among the bewildering array of donuts which are hand-made to order). But we also wanted to thank Ken, the owner, whose family generously contributed to my participation in yesterday's (9/25/2021) 75 mile city-to-shore Ride to fight MS. As it happens, I'm an honorary member of Team Road Dawgs whose members are mostly police and other public safety professionals. We are sponsored by Philly favorite Suzy-Jo Donuts (though perhaps Ken will join as co-sponsor in 2022 - artisanal treats coming and going). See photo with Ken and Fran (who volunteered at the finish line). As it happens, we arrived near closing for the day (and the week - this being off season) and Ken graciously gifted Fran and I with a bag of everything bagels. Couldn't say enough about the food and warm-hearted family of the Fractured Prune.

The best donuts down the shore! So many creative creative donuts that are made to order, with custom donut options as well! The frozen cold brew drinks are also amazing, and they come in different flavors. Really refreshing in the summer heat! Great breakfast sandwiches too! The staff is so friendly, and the owner Ken is such a nice guy. Such a great experience for a shore treat!

5 stars for excellent service and unique concept. People come here for the donuts but I don't really care for sweets and wanted breakfast so I got an egg sandwich and coffee instead. The coffee was good. The donuts are made fresh to order and I would like to go back to try the ice-cream filled donut. I had an egg sandwich on an everything bagel. The egg was from the freezer and I was expecting a real egg so that was my thought the bagel would be made fresh in house since it's a similar shape to a donut but they are brought in and we're just ok. Ordered strawberry banana smoothies which were ok and would have been better if it was made with fresh strawberries and bananas. I was disappointed it was from a mix. The owner was very nice and brought us things we needed outside. They even have a water bowl for dogs.

Great donuts! $18.99 for about a dozen donuts $2.89 for single. Got some donuts for my son's birthday and let him pick out an assortment. We got there early (730am) and there wasn't anyone there in line and took our time picking out what we wanted. I mean there was just quite an assortment to choose from. I also got a coffee which was okay. But they came up piping hot and had our family devour them as I brought them home. Definitely recommend paying a visit if you're in OC.

The donuts were very, very good. I really like that you can customize your donut as they have many options available. I waited a while for my donuts, but it was worth the wait because they were made fresh and definitely tasted fresh! I know there are several Fractured Prune locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and I definitely recommend trying these donuts! They offer bagels and breakfast sandwiches as well!

Good donuts- kind service. The donuts were cleverly named and the flavors were unique but the taste was mere Dunkin' Donuts

And told me that I should stay hydrated. Especially in the heat . Which I agreed with 100 percent. Because it was so hot and very humid yesterday. Her name was Cadence. She was very nice and kind. She provided excellent customer service. And she made my day better. I just wanted to recognize her . Because I have worked as a cashier and in food service in the past. And she deserves to be recognized. Because she was patient kind. So thank you cadence. I will definitely be back again.

Hello dear Ocnj visitors and locals. I write to you under poor circumstances this morning. I do not…read morerecommend Dead End Bakehouse. Not only are there an absurd number of flies here, there are legitimately multiple species of flies in the restaurant. They failed to toast my friend's bagel. On my other friend's bagel they cut the top half but did not cut the bottom half. There were no napkins in the napkin holder- any of them. I once again cannot stress how many flies there were. Also, the bagels taste like bread. Took an absurd amount of time for my bagel to be made so I was forced to sit in the fly cesspool for much longer than I wanted.
