This review is for Stephanie. I came in with a Groupon for a haircut and partial hairlights, she was really nice and offered me tea and coffee! I wanted a change because I've had the same hairstyle for so many years. I originally had hair where the length went down to my belly button and I wanted to chop it off up to about armpit length. I also wanted to try bangs and get highlights. One thing she did a great job on were the highlights, I'm really happy with it! Although I wish she wouldn't have wasted foils to highlight the hair that was going to be cut off to form my bangs. The biggest problem I have is with my haircut. When I left the salon, I was pretty content with the haircut due to the way she had styled it. (She used a straightener). But after going home and washing my hair, and having this haircut for over 2 weeks, I realized it doesn't suit my face shape at all. The bangs she cut for me don't really blend with the rest of my haircut, my bangs are really really short and the rest of my hair is quite long. There aren't any strands of hair to gradually get longer to frame my face so it looks awkward. I have thick straight asian hair but after she cut it, the ends of my hair aren't straight and started flipping and curving in different directions but mostly inward and it really doesn't suit my face shape at all. Also, when I part my hair to its natural part, there's a long strand of hair that is out of place and longer than the rest of my hair. I used to wake up in the morning with straight hair ready to go after brushing it, but now when I wake up my hair is all over the place and curves in different directions at the end. The layers are cut differently than what I'm used to. I asked for long layers, but I think she layered my hair oddly, because the ends of my hair went from looking like choppy textured pieces to now looking like a broom. I really wanted to like this haircut, esp since she was so nice, but I really don't :( read more

Hiii! I have never been a recurring customer to any hair salon, ever. I've always had trust issues when it comes to hair dressers/stylists, due to them doing very unsatisfactory jobs. Mark, has seriously changed that for me! He is very knowledgeable about all of the products and answered all of my questions and concerns. He did a phenomenal job with my hair the other day. He did a cut and style on me and I do have to say that I have NEVER been happier with my hair. I'm going back to him this upcoming week for a color session with him! I'm super excited to say that I will most definitely be coming back to him for future cuts. I'll post an update once I get colored too! read more

This is my go to salon in Sacramento and Jamie is my go to stylist. I have tried many different hair salons in the area and this is the one I keep coming back to. Jamie has been helping me grow out my hair for my wedding and has been giving me tips and tricks on growing it out. I have enjoyed my time spent with Jamie at this salon. I like that they always try to fit you in for last minute appointments and are located in a central/ hip area of Sacramento. Jamie has done my hair twice (color & cut) and she has left me with lovely results on both occasions. I also like how she explains what she is putting in your hair and why, which is very useful for someone who doesn't have a great knowledge of hair products/ the needs of one's hair. Stephanie is, however, is 100% worth the drive. I am from Vacaville but drive into Mid Town Sacramento because of Stephanie and the Framework vibe. Stephanie does amazing with my hair which is curly on the unruly side. She does whatever I want and even better than I expect. If you have curly hair (or not), Stephanie will make your experience there a fun one. Aside from being meticulous at her job, she is personable. You will get to know and love her as she will truly care about you. She will recommend products to help you solve your hair issues. She will ask questions to determine what your really want as an end product and then will deliver that end product better than you imagine. She offers me complimentary something call Wash And Blow Dry! At time to me she could be just any person neighboring company! That comedy club could not even get in, that when she tried the door and looked up information! She says her name, Nicole (hope I spelling it right), she say she the owner of this haircutting place! Okay, so she gives me a short tour of the salon! It has all kind Paul Mitchell products! She explains what is done in each section of the salon! There five chairs in the middle, some more maybe seven chairs by mirrors where customers can sit! The stylists not all assigned to one specific chair, they change as needed! One puts a brown robe, has the company name on it, over their clothes! Keeps the clothes from getting too wet! After the tour she takes me to one section! Massage of the shoulders, the wash! After, one the seven chairs by mirrors where the hair is dried and if necessary styled! Of course I always keeping my hair short, so really not needed be styled! This is my favorite salon in Sacramento! Everyone was wonderfully friendly, I felt right at home as soon as I stepped in the door. I scheduled an appointment with Leesii, who I've had my hair done by at her previous salon, and she is amazing! She went above and beyond to accommodate me, even making a special trip to the beauty supply store to get supplies for the crazy hair that I requested. She took her time, explained what she was doing, and made sure that everything was perfect and I really appreciate that about her. It is so refreshing to see someone who is so passionate about their craft. Also, you can't beat the location. Tali listened to my desires, studied my hair and made some suggestions. After discussion, she proceeded with calmness and confidence. Another simple pleasure: someone else washing your hair. That's right Nikki Marci destroyed my hair back on December and since then i have been doing all kinds of treatments. almost 3 Months later and my hair is still really bad. i just went to this salon in elk grove to see if its safe for me to have my roots done because of my grey hair and i told her what MARCI did to my hair and she couldn't believe how much damage i still have and she agreed with me its gonna take couple of YEARS for my hair to re grow & recover ...and u said that MARCI did her best ? then she needs to go back to school... and i have a question for you.... if someone put bleach on your hair and let it sit for 6 hrs or more and your walk out of the salon with HORRIBLE damage and ALMOST no hair left whatsoever. My stylist no longer works at Framework, but I needed to have my hair colored and cut. I tried another stylist and sadly I'm so unhappy with my hair that I'm writing this review. From the moment I came in to the very end the experience wasn't great. First, my hair I wanted to my roots done, toner and a hair cut. The result weeks later my roots are darker than before, the toner is brassy. The hair cut just sucks. I have so many split ends still that I can't comb my hair and my hair is straight, there's no shape now because I believe she just cut off some length. It's been driving me crazy that I spent all that money on something I can't stand. Maybe it was just that stylist but her overall technique is really outdated. read more

Marci did a great job on my hair. I'd let my hair grow out then decided to get highlights again but didn't want to have a high maintenance hair color. She nailed exactly the color I'd imagined. Also was a great conversationalist. At the end I felt really pampered, it was the end of the day and I had two stylists working on my hair at the same time (I was the last customer of the day but they didn't make me feel rushed at all.)
