    Italian Combo Sub
    Darren G.

While grabbing a two large orders, I got my own order for a Italian combo sub, without lettuce and tomato and onion. They were very nice and polite and repeated my order to make sure it correct, nice that custom orders are a problem. In barely anytime my cold cut was ready and bagged up. Really great service, they treat there customers well here. So as for the sub, all meats were fresh, just right amount of mayo, oil and vinegar so the bread would not get soggy. The bread it itself was great, not too firm and not soft. Overall for getting a quick meal for dinner between orders it was delicious.

Well, according to a prior review that was from a chef from a "5* Florida restaurant" that was less than glowing, he is from a different planet as you can read from his comments. Francesca's is NOT a 5* establishment.... What it is- is an excellent local family restaurant serving very tasty and reliable Italian food. Our Thursday night dinner group has been coming here often (as well as dozens and dozens other Hudson valley restaurants for over 30 years as a group) and enjoying the great food with reasonable prices.

Apologize, halfway devoured delicious Chicken parm! The meatballs are good, the salad is super fresh and warm fresh bread also!

Huge portions! Chicken Parm is fantastic. The homemade sauce is very good. My salad is fresh and tasty. They included warm fresh bread. Try them. Grub hub delivered to the TA!

Found this place the other day, wish i had sooner. Ordered garlic parm chicken wings, they are hands down the best wing i have had in NY. Crispy, real garlic and parmesan. The chunky homemade blue cheese is a treat as i haven't found another place around here with real blue cheese sauce. I will certainly recommend this place to everyone i know. Looking forward to trying more of there food. I will attach some pictures of menu as i could not find one online. Have been back a couple times. The garlic parm wings are still there best wing choice in my opinion. There bolognese sauce is good. The stuffed pizza is different but very good!

Last night my husband I ordered a delivery and were extremely disappointed in our meals. I ordered Meat Lasagna and my husband ordered Veal Parmesan. The bill was over 40.00 and my dish was meat and sauce in the bottom of the tin with one lasagna noodle on top. My husbands meal was very tough and the sauce was turning.

    "Plain pizza"

I think I can give them zero stars. Alright so we used to order from here sometimes abs it was decent. Once COVID struck it seemed like quality went dow hill. And I hate to say that I really do nothing worse than seeing a local business fail especially due to the happenstance. I went there in March ordered 2 slices. took 10 minutes of waiting outside at the "counter". Ok no big deal got home and this is what 2 "regular slices" are to them whatever I chalked it up I paid cash. Fast forward to last week I noticed on my debit card a charge to the business. Dealt w the bank which was great. Called up there asked if they could look into it on their end and they basically told me to pound salt! Here's the kicker I was in Rockland County at the time The charge was made (and had proof even so the bank found it comical). So if you want "pizza" and fraudulent charges to your card go here!

Cascarino's is the real deal, and I do not use that phrase lightly…read more We tried three things on this visit: the grandma pie, a classic regular slice, and a custom panzerotto. Let me start with that panzerotto, because it deserves its own paragraph. This is the kind of dish you would have to fly to Italy to find, and somehow Cascarino's is making it right here. It was the single best thing I ate, and I am still thinking about it. The grandma pie was phenomenal, perfectly crisp on the bottom, pillowy inside, with that beautiful golden crust that so few places actually nail. The regular pizza held its own too, with solid sauce, great cheese pull, and a crust that had real character. But what ties it all together is the ownership. This is a true owner-operated spot, and you feel it in every detail, the care in the kitchen, the warmth at the counter, the consistency in every bite. When the owner is on site, this place is firing on all cylinders. Five star service, no question. And order the rice ball, packed with cheese and meat and hotttt out of the oven. Cascarino's is, without a doubt, the best pizza and Italian food restaurant in the area. It is worth the drive. I have made it twice in two weeks and am already thinking about a third trip.

The Pizza Beast is back for another round, and Cascarino's continues to deliver…read more When a place earns repeat visits year after year, that's usually the best review there is. The pizza still has that solid NY-style crunch, good flavor, and plenty of topping options. Whether grabbing a quick slice or ordering from the full menu, the food is consistently well-prepared and hits the mark. What really stands out is the consistency. The owner clearly takes pride in the operation, the kitchen stays on point, and the staff keeps things moving. It's not easy to maintain quality over time, but Cascarino's has managed to do exactly that. Pizza Beast Verdict: Still one of the most reliable pizza spots in the area. Great slices, solid menu, and a place I keep coming back to for a reason. Rating: 5/5 Beast Slices

Everyone knows that good pizza can only be found In New York City and North Jersey. I discovered…read morethat it's allowed all the way up in Walden as well. My friend placed a pickup order and I brought home the special - Deal 2 (large pizza, baked ziti, large salad, garlic bread) plus a side of calamari to split. Asked around, got agreement to add sausage and eggplant toppings, plus we spiced it up (hot pepper, garlic, touch of pepper) before we left. Pizza: Thin crust, I could have eaten more than the 2.7 slices as we split the pie evenly among three people. Toppings are generous and taste great. Good sauce and the right balance with cheese. Baked ziti: Poor friends usually have this saved for next day. With me around, it wasn't gonna last. I indulged in this cheesy pasta goodness. Salad: OK, it's salad. We added balsamic vinagrette dressing but didn't check when we left and got a second French dressing instead. That's about the only flaw for Franco's, and that happens anywhere. Garlic bread came with some marinara. Drenched in sauce but still had a little crispness to it. If I wanted it extra crispy I could have pan-seared it, but at least it wasn't droopy. Calamari: Quite good. It had gotten a little cold by the time I was able to dive in, but if I ordered that fresh at the restaurant I bet it would be amazing hot out of the oven. For the short time I was inside, I looked around and it's a nice casual pizza joint, plenty of room to sit around, plenty of dine-ins, and a second room behind. So Franco's is a Walden joint I will recommend to all in town.
