The guy working the register was very friendly and our order was already ready when we arrived. It was still warm but it was nice that we didn't have to wait. The dining area is spacious, but some of the tables were quite close to one another, where we had to squeeze in; not too big of a deal with minor adjustments. The brunch food was delicious, especially the steak and egg sandwich; the bread they used were so fluffy and it paired perfectly with chipotle mayo, which was recommended by Chris. What a hidden gem!!! Tucked away in a small plaza this small intimate restaurant deserves all accolades! Stopped here on a rainy Monday mid day. We had the loaded potato soup that was so scrumptious! The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic! Our waitress Angie was so outgoing and polite. She recommended a few items from which we tried. The chicken corn chowder was delicious, and was not too heavy or over seasoned. The Pan seared salmon with its accouterments, was light and perfectly cooked. A very nice hidden gem! So glad we tried this place. Intimate atmosphere, comfortable and warm. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. I started my meal by ordering the perfect martini, I ordered steak for dinner, it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. They have a very nice kids menu, my 7 year old had a lot to choose from and left full. Hubby got the meatball dinner which was a very generous portion served with pasta but also whipped ricotta. Worst restaurant I ever been to. First we sat down without giving us any menu for 10 min. Asked several times and just ignored us. Totally terrible service . Finally we were given one menu for 4 people. Told us they spelled wine on menu and don't have extra. Ok we don't mind sharing one menu . Then a couple came in and sat down and all of suddenly they were given menus. We came before the couple and they had their order taken while we sat there nothing - no service. Staten Island has a Michelin star restaurant and this place is it. I came to this place because of my sister, she kept telling me that the food is delicious. It always hard to accept what another person says is good or great, but I decided to try it and now I'm hooked. Been here several times and everything they offer is delicious, from the appetizers to the entrees. They just amaze me every time I go. I had the steak last time and I was scraping the sauce off with my fork, the lady next to me saw how much I enjoyed my food. They're on open table so make sure you make reservations.
