Franco' s was always my go to place for pizza. Hands down the best for cheese steak. Get the cheese steak and NOT the cheese steak sub. The role, the quality of the meat. Mix with provolone, mushrooms, fried onion, a few banana peppers and you swear you are in Philadelphia. The whole package was just great. Fair price, great service and served hot. MMM. They used to have the best wings! We ordered there for about 2 years and never got a bad chicken wing! But everything changed mid 2025. These wings are seriously over-cooked. We order from you a lot and I am always happy with the quality of your food and service. I felt that it was important to tell you about my food last night. I ordered a pizza and 10 wings. The pizza was not cooked through and doughy - which I could live with- I ate the edges - lol But the wings.... It was a bit alarming to see what appears to be parts of the wing I never knew existed and really didn't ever need to know. Haha. They looked kinda like "chicken feet" ??? 3 of them. And the wing size- so smaller than normal. I know prices are way up for wings and that cost is apparent in your pricing but to pay more and not get the same usual good size and quality - well that stinks. Anyway - please don't have your staff put these odd looking chicken pieces in and call them a wing. We love your food generally and this was a disappointment. Two out of my last four times ordering here, there was a hair on my pizza. The first time, I let it go and convinced myself that maybe it was somehow mine even though it seemed unlikely. But today, it was a blonde wavy hair (I'm not blonde and no one in my family is) and I saw it sitting right on top of the pizza as soon as I opened up the box in my car to make sure the order was right after I picked it up. I should've gone in and complained or asked for a new pizza, but honestly I am just so disgusted that I decided simply won't be coming back to Franco's anymore. Placed an order 1/17/24 at 5:05 pm, told "ready to pick up in 30-40 minutes". Allowed extra 5 min., arrived at 5:50. Told it was "in the oven, be ready in a few minutes". Waited until 6 pm, asked again. Told my "order was switched" and it was just put in the oven, it will need 7 min to cook. Finally at 6:12pm my order was brought to the counter, nearly 30 minutes late! This location has problems getting it right, the order is either wrong or they don't have it ready when promised! Franco's Pizza has been around for a long time. I like ordering pizza, antipasta salad, subs and believe it or not their wings are pretty decent. However, I've noticed as of late their prices have gone way up and the quality and quantity has gone way down. Not to mention the customer service and simple listening skills are lacking from the staff. When calling to place an order for pick-up or delivery I feel as though I'm thoroughly communicating my order effectively and efficiently but somehow the order is NOT prepared or executed to my preference or liking. Requested items or deleted items on pizza's or salads are missed altogether. I also feel like I'm talking to a wall or someone that's tired and half asleep and totally in la-la land when I phone in an order...hence the horrible listening and communication skills. The pizza sizes have decreased in size, and the cheese and toppings are also very scant and chintzy. The salad's have less lettuce and less and less toppings each time. Not sure what's going on but, it's too bad because I love the flavors of their sauce and there pizza is usually dynamite. I only hope that they reevaluate their business practices and maybe give a positive pep talk to their personnell about stellar customer service. In response to your question...When I have an issue with my order or if something isn't correct or if I feel that the personnell isn't giving stellar customer service, I ALWAYS speak my mind and communicate that to the personnell. WE LOVE THIER PIZZA! Yes, I'm shouting because it's worth making noise about!! Always consistent; delivery or pickup. The fact that their delivery is so fresh is fantastic. The only reason they get four stars is because we have ordered wings from them before and we were not impressed. They tasted, and looked, like they had been sitting in a pizza bag. Not sure what happens with their wings - perhaps they should poke holes in the box like other pizza places do to let out the steam. We have not traveled outside the box (no pun intended) to their subs, salads, etc, but I wouldn't hesitate to try them. It's just that we always just want their 'za! Possibly the best slice of pizza you will ever eat. If this was called "Francophone's Pizza" then you'd have to call up and ask for "une grande pizza, s'il vous plait" with "fromage et saussicon" perhaps. Mais, oui. What to get: a slice of cheese and pep. What else: the Eggert location, and the one on Delaware near the 290, are probably better. How to improve: Stop serving lukewarm pizza slices when you already charge a lot for your slices. Some of the employees exhibit lovely customer service, but some treat patrons like dirt. So, there's that. For a long time, I boycotted this because they kept serving me cold steak tacos that were jellified like cat food inside, and their Pizza was either cold or burned, and so on, it just became a real let down. That's a shame because they really do have some of the best pizza not just in Buffalo, but in the world. It's divine. When it's piping hot, it has virtually no rival on its level. When it's lukewarm, it's a little disappointing, but then so is sex with a vacuum cleaner. If it were Hankey's Pizza, you'd have a cold. Which, in Buffalo, let's be honest... you often do. I've realized the service at most of the locations is iffy, so I have to rate the place based on just the pizza. The slices are on the expensive side, and are sometimes a little overdone, and sometimes lukewarm as I said. But when they are right, they are so f***ing right! The Pizza is right up there with Imperial, Mattina's, Bella, and Good Guys in terms of tastiness, and in the top 5 slices in WNY - possibly top of the whole pizza tree. If it were "Danke Schoen Pizza" it'd be in Germany. And how many slices would you order? NEIN! The slices are square and with all due respect, it's sort of like eating a carpet. Who doesn't love a little rug munching right? But it's the kind of carpet you really want to eat. It's a cheesy, saucy, gooey, crusty, doughy perfect carpet. There's a taste to a Franco's slice that most places can't compare to. I suppose Good Guys is the closest facsimile, or Bozanna's (which is now closed down). If you are a visitor to WNY you simply must try a cheese and pep slice from Franco's. If it were Mankey's Pizza, then you'd be down by Canalside catching Pokemon or something. And if it were "Spank-O's Pizza" it would mean that you would get a real thrill from being paddled. While eating this pizza. Which has probably already been done, filmed, and sold online through websites that give you viruses, spyware, and malware. Not that I would know anything about any of the things I mentioned in this paragraph. Except Pizza. Buffalo actually has the best Pizza in the world - check my Pizza in WNY list or my Best Pizza In The World list to see all the best Buffalo pizza places, lots of my choices are Buffalo based. Franco's was the first pizza place I tried when moving to Buffalo and it's been one of my favourites ever since. I stopped by the Tonawanda location for the first time over the weekend while we were shopping down the street. Should I of called ahead? Yes, but instead I walked in to place my order and then sat in my car for 20 minutes instead because I'm an idiot. I ended up ordering a medium pizza with meatballs and it's all that I could of hoped for. We tried to make it home with the pizza but we ended up eating half of it by the time we even got parked. The pizza was wonderful! The cheese was cheesy, the sauce was flavourful and saucy, and the meatball was tasty as well. Franco's is not going to give you a memorable dining experience or the best meal of your life, but if you want a reliable, delicious place to stop and have some pizza, I highly recommend giving Franco's a call! read more

Wow.), then I was contacted by the store manager. I did appreciate the outreach, but it will be a while before I give this place another try. ORIGINAL: I can look past getting a lecture every time I place an order because people don't want to put a note on the order to split 30 wings into 20 and 10, but cold/undercooked/miscounted/mutated wings at more than $1 a piece is ridiculous. My husband left the house and was there (supposedly) as soon as the wings came out of the fryer. They were not hot at all when they were opened, and the 2 I tried from the 10 garlic parmesan set were not even warm in the center, so I will not be eating them, as I would like to avoid food poisoning. So many issues not sure where to begin. On a regular night, they do consistent food for a fair price. On a game day, there are 25 people at a time lined up from inside and out to pick up orders. They are extremely disorganized. If I was the manager I would be outside, taking names and going inside to retrieve orders for customers. I also would update the website so it doesn't take more orders than they can handle. A kindergartener would figure that out. Plus rude customers will just walk in ahead of us all and because no one at the establishment cares about their faithful customers, nothing is done, they are served and we wait longer. Ordered take out tonight for the first time from Franco's. Ordered a cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, onion pizza and a large antipasto salad. Absolutely delicious. The pizza was great. The sauce on it delicious. The salad had a great portion of fresh sliced meat and cheese and the Italian dressing was great. Can't ask for much more for pizza and a fresh salad for dinner. We usually order from here due to the fact that it's one of the closest pizza places to our house even though it's not our absolute favorite. Tonight we got a white pizza, BBQ honey mustard wings, and hot wings. The pizza was good, I don't think I've ever seen red onions on a white pizza but I could be wrong. We were disappointed that the wings did not come with carrots or celery for either order. The website listed honey mustard as a wing flavor but when we went to order online only "honey mustard BBQ" was listed so they may want to update that. I still liked the flavor though. The hot wings were good--actually hot, and made my nose run. Their online ordering system is really straightforward and easy to use and there are usually coupons but I wasn't super impressed when I went to pick up the order- wasn't greeted when I walked in and had to give my phone number multiple times before they could find my order. Overall not a bad experience but wings without carrots and celery are unacceptable around these parts. read more

The place is good but average for Buffalo pizza and subs. I tried a sausage royal tonight and wasn't really impressed. Unlike many smaller sub shops who somehow find great to amazing sausage I found Franco's sausage to be sub par. We frequent here at the tonawanda location on Delaware and I also sometimes go to the NT location on Payne ave. This pizza is solid. I always get cheese and pepperoni. I've never had a terrible pie here. Their tangy, semi sweet sauce is delightful. Good amount of mozzarella cheese, and tiny pepperoni that aren't cup and char that are actually enjoyable. I usually get garlic parmesan wings and medium wings. Again, always near perfect, never had bad wings from here. I really enjoy their Asian bbq wings, which are spicy, sweet, and savory sticky wings that has you wanting more when they are all gone. I've had their breadsticks also which are okay. Nothing too special. I go here because I know it's going to be good, I go here for strictly pizza and wings. And I've yet to have a bad experience with it. Thanks Franco's! read more

This is tough to do because I understand stuff doesn't always go exactly right in the restaurant business, but when there is a repeated problem, well maybe it's time to go elsewhere! I've been ordering from Franco's for over 20 years, actually maybe 25 years. Used to order from the location on Kenmore when it first opened, then moved to Amherst. I almost always order a medium (small) pizza with pepperoni and green olives. They are always skimpy with the olives. So I always ask for extra green olives. I always have to ask for extra green olives. Not sure if there is a shortage of olives in the world, I know you can get about 12 ounces of cut green olives for .89 at wegmans, and you can get 128 ounce can of green olives at a restaurant supply for about 8 bucks, either way it's .6 to .7 cents an ounce. So I ordered a small pizza by mistake, no one clarified that it would be a personal size 8" x 8" pizza, so when it came and I was charged 17.95 I was a bit surprised. I guess it's 9 something for the personal size, 5 for delivery, and I was charged over 3 bucks for the "extra olives" I counted, because the pizza was so small. I got a total of 22 pieces of olive, less than 6 olive slices per piece, approximately a half ounce for 3 bucks, seriously??? You have great pizza, it's not cheep, but the pizza, dough, sauce is excellent, but I can't afford $3 for 3.5 cents worth of olives. WTF??? read more
