I've ordered 2x from here and both times were great. Just pizza, so not sure about the meals. Everyone from NY came to visit and agreed this place held the torch for NY pizza. I've had a few others pizza in the area and tonight it was decided that we will ONLY order from here in the future. Thanks Frank and Al for delicious pizza!! Yum

The best French fries I have ever eaten in my life. Perfectly cooked , not greasy soft on the inside with a crunchy exterior. If you are a French fry lover this place can't be beat. The portions are Big and the price is good. The service is excellent , we ordered for pick up everything was cooked to order. The cheeseburger is delicious and the photo does not do it justice!

I've been here several times. It's a nice place and the food is for the most part, very good. The wings, the calzones, the dinners, all excellent. The pizza is another story. The pizza pretty much sucks. If you like "New York style" pizza, then maybe you won't have as much as a problem with it as I did, but personally I would have preferred Pizza Hut, and I don't care much for Pizza Hut. Frank and Al's has 4 or even 5 star food, but in my book a "pizza" place that can't make a halfway decent pizza is unforgivable. Problen #1, we ordered extra cheese and yet there was a lack of cheese, a lack of even a normal amount of cheese. Problem #2, all the toppings were on top of the cheese. Really, who makes pizza like that? Problem #3, obviously canned mushrooms and plainly visible raw looking onions (because they were on top). Problem #4, lack of cheese, again (and sauce). Problem #5, painfully soggy crust. All these things might not be a problem for some, but all together, they're a deal breaker for me. I'm originally from Chicago. I like a crispy thin crust pizza, fresh ingredients, lots of cheese (on top), good sauce, and preferably cut into squares. I've long since left Chicago and come to the realization that most of the rest of the world doesn't really care, or maybe they've just never had really good Chicago pizza. Your mileage may vary. Frank and Al's had good food, just don't order the pizza, or go ahead and see for yourself. You've been warned.

Got the Grandma Pie and garlic knots. Both very good, but the pie is fire. Will be back! !

    Enjoying the food!

That level of hospitality never dropped throughout the night. It truly felt like the entire team was working together to create the best possible experience, from quickly clearing empty plates to refilling water and even adding freshly grated parmesan without us having to ask. We started with the Carpaccio di Manzo, and it set the tone for the entire meal. The truffle oil tied the dish together perfectly--rich, balanced, and absolutely delicious. For our mains, we ordered the Pappardelle di Limone with shrimp and the Fettuccine ai Frutti di Mare in pomodoro sauce. Both were phenomenal. The lemon cream sauce on the pappardelle was to die for--bright, smooth, and incredibly flavorful--while the seafood fettuccine was just as impressive. Honestly, this might have been the best pasta I've had in my life. Our waitress, Sophia, was phenomenal. She was incredibly attentive, sweet, and knowledgeable about the menu. She answered all of our questions with ease and helped guide us through our indecisiveness, which made the experience even more enjoyable. For drinks, my sister had a non-alcoholic wine and I had a Malbec--both were delicious. Before dessert, we also enjoyed a cappuccino and a single espresso, which were the perfect way to wind down the meal. We ended with the Torta di Ricotta e Pistacchio, and it was just as memorable as everything before it. The texture was perfect--spoon cut right through it effortlessly--and the dulce de leche sauce complemented it beautifully. I genuinely can't get over how good the food was, paired with such friendly and attentive service. Casa Pasta exceeded expectations in every way. I'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere has that wonderful old-school Italian feel with a modern, upscale touch--warm, inviting, and perfect for a night out with family. This time, my husband called in an order for one extra-large pizza, half with everything and half pepperoni. When he went inside to pick it up, he noticed there was a strong odor that smelled like marijuana. Unfortunately, the employee had taken the order incorrectly. Instead of our pizza, she handed him a small pizza that was half meat lovers and half plain cheese. She realized the mistake after my husband mentioned the error and remade our order. We ended up waiting about eight more minutes and left with both the incorrect small pizza and the correct extra-large pizza. The pizza itself was excellent, just like we've come to expect, so no complaints there. However, having our order taken incorrectly--combined with the strong odor inside the restaurant--made for a less-than-ideal pickup experience. We'll definitely be back because the pizza is worth it, but hopefully the ordering process goes much more smoothly next time.

My wife and I are in search of a good steak and cheese in the area. Sad to say, the best we could find is from Jersey Mikes. Jersey Mikes subs are very good, but you shouldn't have to go to a franchise to find a good one with all the New York restaurant owners in the area. Anyway, in our opinion, DaVinci's steak and cheese has the rest beat, hands down. We added green peppers and a side of mayo to the onions and mushrooms. First off, it weighs about 4 pounds (slightly exaggerated but close). It's huge, and delicious. Really nothing more needs to be said. The flavor is excellent, and the bread is perfect. * I don't know if the bread is made in house, but it's very good. We also crave Calamari which can be hit or miss when ordered at a restaurant. Although the rings were not huge, they were plenty big enough, and (like the steak and cheese), the portion was huge. The Calamari they serve doesn't get much better. Just the right amount of crispy batter, and very tender. The accompanying marinara sauce has great flavor. I do get a bit excited when we discover a really good restaurant. There's a lot to choose from in the area, but not that many I consider to be great. DaVinci's has been around for a long time, which says something for its quality. It's a bit of a whole in the wall (my kind of place). You walk though the front door to a very tight counter area where they're cooking pizzas, and managing take out orders (which were flying out the door left and right). You might have to wait a few minutes while the girl at the counter, or one of the wait staff acknowledges you as they were very busy on a Saturday night - and no front host area. Was starting to get a little frustrated with the wait, but it was OK. There were 2-3 large tables filled with people but there were several booths available. The place is small, and you can tell the place has been around for 40+ years. It's nothing fancy, but it's quaint, and has a lively atmosphere. You can tell the patrons are regulars, and the wait staff and all have been there for a while. Even though we have not tried other dishes on the menu, you can tell it's all going to be good, We can't wait to go back to try some actual Italian dishes - and we know where we're going for Cheese Steaks from now on.
