I came back to the store and she told me that it was not her fault since the bracelet could had broken in another place. They did mention there could be a slight delay due to the holidays. When I didn't hear from them for a week I called them myself and got VM. Jacqueline herself returned my call and let me know they were taking vacation for the holidays. As soon as they opened their doors after the holidays I got a call that my watch was ready. I offered to trade some of my estate watches towards the purchase & Manny offered to take a look. I traded a men's vintage *Tag Heuer* and a *Vintage Tiffany Rolex* Sub Mariner. I added some cash into the deal. I collected vintage from estate sales inexpensively, but was totally naive as to their value. The Rolex alone had value perhaps twice the Bertolucci. It must've been clear to jewelers. I see the rate Tiffany Rolex seeking for stunning prices. I was and am still stunned Manny would take advantage of me and the family. Luckily, my new job is located just 15 minutes from this location and I was able come here during my late lunch hour and have them replace the batteries in my Rado Diastar Chronograph Watch and Philip Stein Chronograph Teslar Watch! What was great was that the Lifetime Batteries I bought for them from the Woodfield shop were still valid and so I was able to get them replaced for free without having to start over again! Very honorable business! I do plan on bringing my other watches in my 40-50-watch collection, even if I have to make the shlep up to Vernon Hills -- it is well worth it! This location is in a great mall, with a lot of great stores and restaurants all around it to tide me over while I wait for them to work on my watches.
