If I had to omit one item from our order it would be the beans. My favorite was the BBQ Spaghetti, collard greens and the Hot water cornbread. I thought the beans would have a bit more flavor, but I've never been a bean kind of gal. You will need to try it for yourself! The Hot water Cornbread was great. The texture was a little gritty, but still yummy. The shape is what caught me by surprise. It was round and flat almost like a pancake. The service was outstanding. Friendly and hardworking. The food came out in good time. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Has a warm but rustic vibe. I would most definitely revisit this spot whenever in the area.

That brisket was so moist and perfectly seasoned...gosh it was so good! The pulled pork was fantastic as well. The potato salad was great and definitely made on-site, not from a bag. After it closed, my husband and I decided to do a small gathering (5 people) at the Scottsdale location expecting the same experience at 4pm. Oh god how wrong I was. TLDR: If you want to be full after you ate, cool, ice in your drink, ADA accessible and have clean bathrooms, this place is not recommended. Full Review: We walked into an empty restaurant and you could tell the AC was dying/dead. It wasn't as hot as normal and we figured a place has a problem every once in awhile and continued to stay. We should have left the moment we got there The 2 girls working appearently never understood the concept ice. The water had like 3 half melted cubes in it. Considering that even though it was 120, but 101 out, and we were seated inside, you'd think there could at least be that. Now this where you might say "wow, you sound picky and entitled. its just eater." I wish I had the forethought to take pictures. Because if you were there, you would get it. I had to ask for refills for the table because they never even tried and were barely around. Reminder the place was empty minus us at 4pm. The ladies restroom had a small layer of water and I had to move random furniture to help get my mother (who is a veteran in a wheelchair) into the bathroom. It smelled horrific and was just gross. Getting her in and out was like a puzzle. So if you are wheelchair bound looking for ADA friendly, skip this unless you have a friend willing to just move the stuff in your way because there is no way you can do it. Now the Food. You would think that at least the food would be fine. That was of course the main reason I brought people there. The Apple pie moonshine and Peach moonshine were fanatic. The food tasted delicious BUT...big BUT here all the portions are hyper reduced. Like I use to get 5 eggs on the deviled eggs, only 3. The sweet potato fries of heaven, was half of the portion. Same with every single appetizer. My pork belly tacos had 3 tacos but the plating wasn't just different, but the tacos were ridiculously small. The only item that had the same portions I was accustomed to was the BBQ platter. My husband quietly paid the bill (around 300) and we left to find a place with AC and apologized profusely to our family. They were hot, still hungry and my mother felt like a burden due to the staff. I don't know if that was just the naturla difference between the 2 locations or if it has new management but, Good bye Bootleggers. NEVER AGAIN. Which is really sad because this use to be one of my favorites.

This is genuinely some of the best barbecue I have had. Well I just had the pleasure of eating at Fraziers smokehouse. I ordered the brisket, medium garlic mashed potatoes, small green chili mac cheese and baked beans and smoked turkey. What can I say about the food hmmm..... Well I would have to say that this is a poor excuse for a smokehouse I don't know what you're reading is as far as the other reviews I think that they are friends of the owners. The brisket I had was the most flavorless brisket I have ever had in my life. The Texas toast was soggy and only got toasted on one side. The side of garlic mashed potatoes what's the poorest mashed potatoes I have ever tasted it tasted like mashed potatoes and sour cream thrown in with a bunch of garlic powder. It left a dirty taste in my mouth. The smoked turkey which was not smoked turkey it tasted like boiled turkey more like it there was no smoke flavor to that Turkey at all. The only thing that I ordered that had any flavor was the green chili mac and cheese so bravo on that one. The baked beans we're not baked beans I felt like I was eating a hardy chili. My sister-in-law was in town with her kids, and we were looking for a place that could accommodate a pretty large group. We live nearby and decided to give Frasher's BBQ a try, and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. They got a table ready for our group right away, which we really appreciated, and they took the time to walk us through the menu and recommend some of their specialties. The owner was there as well and made us feel genuinely welcome, which added such a personal touch. The food was absolutely incredible, everything we tried was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and exactly what you hope for from great BBQ. You can really tell they care about both the food and the experience they provide. We're so happy to have found such a great spot so close to home. We'll definitely be back, and I can already see Frasher's becoming one of our regular go-to restaurants. Highly recommend! read more

Well, wanted to check it out so went in for lunch. First off they were out of menus, next I ordered baby back ribs with side of slaw and corn. Corn was brought out to table first??? Then my lunch. Ribs did fall off the bone but no flavor. I couldn't even tell what kind of smoke was used. Didn't taste it at all. The slaw was shredded but it was as if they put water in it and that was it. My friend got the try tip and it was cut with the grain . The BBQ sauce was bland and unremarkable. All in all a waste of time and money. The final straw for me is when you walk into a new place. Don't hang up all your awards on your old place til you get it right with the current one! It makes you look silly. I myself ordered the Tri Tip and Baby Back Ribs with a side of fries. And let's just say, best BBQ I've had. The sauce was delicious, my favorite was spicy, but they were all wonderful. The ribs were perfectly cooked and were above expectations. I've ate food from the Steakhouse so I knew I was in for a treat. After eating the fresh fries, Tri Tip, and Ribs, I ordered the butter cake, which I do recommend if you have a sweet tooth. Everything was on point and the interior really caught my eye. The decorations were nice and made me feel very comfortable. I even wrote on the chalkboard in the bathroom, which by itself was amazing. The service was great and I was really happy to be treated as well as I was. On my way out(which made me kind of sad to leave) I got some Mac n Cheese which just by the smell had be dreaming. I LOVE the BBQ here! Stopped in for lunch and had the brisket, with a salad, and texas toast. The salad portions are huge, super tasty, and light (but filling). I love that I can enjoy BBQ while keeping it low carb/healthy. If you are in the mood for sides, I did try my friend's mac-n-cheese and fries - they were soooo good. They have homemade lemonades, and several different flavors of ice teas. Both the employees and the manager were really accommodating - checked on us and made sure we were enjoying everything. There are so many things I LOVE about Frasher's Smokehouse, the bbq is simply the best in Phoenix! The tri-tip melts in your mouth, the chicken is so moist and juicy, the turkey is perfect, moist and tender, the sausages is soooooooo good they make it from the brisket trimmings, the brisket is very good, the pulled pork is amazing! The bbq beans are my favorite side, the smoked corn, the cornbread, the Mac and cheese are so good!!! The bbq burnt ends pizza is so good!!! I have been a fan of Frasher's restaurants since the first one opened in 1998. I was happy to find three of them upon my return from the EU after being away from the US for 6 years and AZ for 20. The Smokehouse was fantastic. The pork, ribs and pulled where as flavorful as I remember. I love the new sauces, all three are solid, but the tangy is my favorite. It's Friday and Earth Day today so I saved a tree and ate a pig, and like a pig! Got the pork ribs today and need I say more?!?!?!? Some of the best BBQ I've had in Phoenix the sweet bbq sauce on the ribs is prurdy darn tasty! Meat was smoked perfect fall of the bone tender. The kale salad has citrus and other goodies in it (sorry, I forget what!) and the kale wasn't tough at all. The dressing is lightly sweet and refreshing. Definitely recommend! The bang bang burger was delicious and filling without being overly heavy. They also had cans of local beer - Huss Blonde and Papago Orange Blossom - and a couple of speciality cocktails, along with various canned and bottled non-alcoholic drinks and fountain drinks. Its a cute shop with a patio and one side was open to the nice weather. A woman stopped to check in - I think she was the manager - who was really nice. Looking forward to coming back for a breakfast sandwich! (And more kale salad)
