    Smoke ring of love

This was was an OMG foodie moment! After some searching around for a meal I ended up at FRASHER's for some BBQ.. What a classic joint with high end quality smoked meats. Ok, it's food review time. I ordered a few items, Smoked Turkey & Ribs combo, Gumbo, Burnt Ends Sandwich & chicken wings our food experiences at Frasher's has always been high quality BBQ. But one thing that I always love dining on is the smoked turkey. So moist and tender, a flavor that will stick in your mind when thinking smoked meat...

Frasher's Smokehouse is definitely worth a visit for any BBQ lover! I had a great experience here, and I'm already planning my next trip back to dive deeper into their menu. I ordered the brisket, and it was seriously tasty. It was cooked well, tender, and had that great smoky flavor you expect from a quality smokehouse. It was exactly what I was hoping for and completely satisfying. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt authentic and comfortable, a perfect setting for enjoying some classic BBQ. The only reason I'm holding back the fifth star is that I only tried one item! But based on the high quality of the brisket, I have high hopes for the rest of the menu. I will definitely be back soon, and I am especially intrigued and excited to try their pizza.

We had a friend visiting from California who is originally from St. Louis so we had to take him to Frasher's! It's the only place out here where you can get St Louis style thin crust "Imo's" pizza with the provel cheese. Provel is a combination of cheddar, swiss, and provolone. You can't get it anywhere in AZ but Frasher's! Trust me I've tried. We ordered a sausage and a veggie pizza. We ordered the St. Louis Salad with Romaine lettuce, Artichoke hearts, red onion, Provel cheese, and Parmesan Vinaigrette, Yum! We also ordered St Louis Toasted Raviolis, one meat order and one cheese. Everything was delicious and the marinara sauce that comes with the Raviolis is amazing. The pizza is thin crust and cut into small squares! We had to get a piece of St Louis Gooey Butter Cake for dessert. Our friend was over the moon with the St Louis meal.

Tried this place on are recommendation. Good call! Tried the ribs, brisket and turkey. All were on point with good smoke flavor. The turkey was juicy and tender. The sides of beans & mac n cheese were also flavorful. We will return.

I am not sure why I added this to my bookamarks, but we were coming back from Sky Harbor on the way home and I suggested this place. Food: Barely edible. The pulled pork was fatty and greasy. The burnt ends ordered vs what we received was a mess. They may have run out putting them on pizzas, because my order looked like cut up brisket. Some pieces were just a fatty mess. Best part of the meal, which for the 3 of us was over $100 was the toasted bread and side of corn. Service: Understaffed and one couple sat for 10 min and just left. We should have done the same... Two waiters covering the whole place. Overall: Maybe I caught them on an off night, but food was some of the worst BBQ I have ever had. Not worth coming back. sorry.

We had high hopes. I'd seen Frasher's on the Food Network a while back and we finally had a chance to try it. I will admit I went primarily for the Burnt Ends Pizza. It's a St. Louis style pizza with the cracker crust and provel cheese. It was decent, but didn't wow me. My husband chose the 2-meat plate which is his go-to at most BBQ places. He had brisket and tri-tip. For sides, he had the garlic mashed and mac & cheese. He said the meats were ok, and the mashed potatoes were probably his favorite thing. I did try the mac & cheese and found it to be rather soupy had very little cheese flavor. That was a disappointment! It also came with toast which I found odd. I would have expected a roll or even cornbread. We also decided to split the Gooey Butter Cake and I'm so glad we didn't get a separate piece each as it was far too sweet to eat the entire slice. Service was good, and the musician playing outside was nice, but the food just wasn't our favorite and with better BBQ closer to our house, we don't anticipate that we'll be back.

I've lived around the corner from this place for five years and have driven by a million times. Was craving BBQ and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did. As soon as we sat down, the owner George Frasher came over and introduced himself. He said he owns three restaurants across the valley and gave us some great recommendations on the menu. The service was incredibly friendly and quick. The ribs melted off the bone and the sides were all delicious. The patio was lovely and there was live music. The prices were also great for the portion size. Love supporting a local business. Highly reccomend a visit if you haven't been before!

I came out for a golf trip with some buddies. One of the guys picked Frasher's before our visit to pop stroke. We came in on a Saturday at 1pm. We were a party of 12 which didn't seem to be a problem since we were seated immediately. We are all from California so we were all in the dark about this place. Staff was extremely diligent on tending to our every need. I had the gumbo. Not only was it the most inexpensive thing on the menu but it was the most delicious. Spicy but not too spicy filled with their recommended turkey. Everyone else had the two meat combo sandwich plate. There were no complaints. All the boys said everything was delicious. From the Mac and cheese, corn bread, brisket, burnt ends, and tri tip. No pizza or chicken was tried during our visit but the pizza looked good, they had a fresh one on the bar as we walked in. What I really liked about our visit was when we were finished eating, our server would come up to the table and say "may I take your plate." Which to me showed great manners, growing up in California we rarely come across a kind soul. So thank you for the experience. We'll drop by again next golf trip.

We ordered our Thanksgiving turkey and ham to go. First off, the service was awesome. I wish I remembered the guy at the front (dirty blonde, caucasian) because he was awesome. He was friendly and helpful. He also grabbed another guy to help carry out the 2 turkeys and ham. Big plus is that they were the only place we could find the option to have the turkeys and ham ready to serve, i.e. no re-heating required! The turkey was smoked and delicious. The ham was some of the best ham we have ever had. It was also smoked and tender. I wish we just had Thanksgiving at Frasher's because it looked like a great relaxing and fun place to be.

Great service as soon as you enter. The young staff were super nice and polite...great job by them. The indoor space (with cold AC to fight the Arizona heat) is small but clean and comfortable. They also have outdoor seating with fans and mist to cool you off. I took my order back to the hotel. Let me tell you, the food is phenomenal. That brisket was so moist and perfectly seasoned...gosh it was so good! The pulled pork was fantastic as well. The potato salad was great and definitely made on-site, not from a bag. The beans were really good too. I was really impressed with their offerings and will definitely go back on my next trip to Arizona.

That location became something of a semi regular stop even after I moved to the other side of the valley. I use to introduce all my friends when they visited me to Bootleggers at that location. After it closed, my husband and I decided to do a small gathering (5 people) at the Scottsdale location expecting the same experience at 4pm. Oh god how wrong I was. TLDR: If you want to be full after you ate, cool, ice in your drink, ADA accessible and have clean bathrooms, this place is not recommended. Full Review: We walked into an empty restaurant and you could tell the AC was dying/dead. It wasn't as hot as normal and we figured a place has a problem every once in awhile and continued to stay. We should have left the moment we got there The 2 girls working appearently never understood the concept ice. The water had like 3 half melted cubes in it. Considering that even though it was 120, but 101 out, and we were seated inside, you'd think there could at least be that. Now this where you might say "wow, you sound picky and entitled. its just eater." I wish I had the forethought to take pictures. Because if you were there, you would get it. I had to ask for refills for the table because they never even tried and were barely around. Reminder the place was empty minus us at 4pm. The ladies restroom had a small layer of water and I had to move random furniture to help get my mother (who is a veteran in a wheelchair) into the bathroom. It smelled horrific and was just gross. Getting her in and out was like a puzzle. So if you are wheelchair bound looking for ADA friendly, skip this unless you have a friend willing to just move the stuff in your way because there is no way you can do it. Now the Food. You would think that at least the food would be fine. That was of course the main reason I brought people there. The Apple pie moonshine and Peach moonshine were fanatic. The food tasted delicious BUT...big BUT here all the portions are hyper reduced. Like I use to get 5 eggs on the deviled eggs, only 3. The sweet potato fries of heaven, was half of the portion. Same with every single appetizer. My pork belly tacos had 3 tacos but the plating wasn't just different, but the tacos were ridiculously small. The only item that had the same portions I was accustomed to was the BBQ platter. My husband quietly paid the bill (around 300) and we left to find a place with AC and apologized profusely to our family. They were hot, still hungry and my mother felt like a burden due to the staff. I don't know if that was just the naturla difference between the 2 locations or if it has new management but, Good bye Bootleggers. NEVER AGAIN. Which is really sad because this use to be one of my favorites.
